It's stunning that this star studded cast gave in such phoned in performances, as well as the audio quality being all over the place. All supported by a script I swear is AI generated. Thanks for making this video because while I want to dabble in some cringe, I wouldn't want to actually play this more than I have.
Coming at this from the angle of a 90's teen, this cast was perfect. Huge fan of most of the actors here, but god damn this has to be some of the worst performances of their careers. Worst part is a few of these actors have done multiple video games before, so this isn't new territory for them.
Oh my god the voice acting is really bad. Unsurprisingly, the 2 best actors here are ones with experience in voice acting with everyone else being okay to out right awful. Let's go from best to worst with each high profile name, shall we? Danny Trejo: I may be biased here but I think Trejo does the best job. He's barely in the game yet he seems to actually deliver his lines, that's all I can say though since his performance is basically a cameo and not mush more. Michael Rooker: Also doing a alright job but more prevalent in the story than Danny Trejo, the thing that makes people think he's phoning it in is that he's just doing his normal voice... but he does that with everything he's in so I don't know what people were expecting. Kim Basinger: Very phoned in, every line she delivers is just generic "sexy girl voice" with nothing else to deliver (Kinda like the character she plays) Danny Glover: His performance is VERY 50/50. Sometimes he's really into a line and other times he seem completely bored with one, often making his performance feel AI generated. Just bizarre. Michael Madsen: Same issue as Glover except instead of sounding like It's AI generated, every line he does sounds like his first take. (Doesn't help that the character he's playing has nothing going on either) Vanilla Ice: Has never been a good actor and he ain't stating now! Every line he has sounds like a first time preforming member of and improv troop and it's just so distracting. Chuck Norris: The actual worst voice acting I've ever heard. It's like they picked him off the street, asked him to say random shit and then kicked him to the curb. If it was just a cameo I'd get it but he's THE MAIN ANTAGONIST! At one point I was considering buying this but if the VA is bad, The story is non-existent and the gameplay is just a worse version of Payday 2? it's not worth it.

It sounded like I was listening to those infomercials for workout equipment 😆 and the amount of the same body-motion clips being reused for multiple scenes and texture loading REALLY toke me out of the story. Not that the story or writing is good on its own.

In the same year setting in gta San Andreas. The country involved in central and South American conflict war zones. As well it involves the drug wars being literally waged on. With communism no longer the threat to the western hemisphere, the newly rising European federation made from the former western European economic community turned a continental union competing against the Americas.
Its an average game that is made worse by the fact the voice acting is all over the fucking place. They really should have just got only Micheal Madsen because the rest of the cast clearly has little to no experience with voice acting. Lastly the recording quality of the dialogue is very hit or miss especially with Chuck Norris who literally recorded his lines at his ranch when the devs visited him.

I think the directors just didn't give a fuck. a lotta lines sound like first takes and I wouldn't be suprised if they just cheaped out that badly.
