speedometer not working? Here's how I wired in my Dakota digital sgi100bt
2000 camaro ss ls1
1999-2002 ls1 ecu
ar5 gearbox
factory gm transmission sensor ( 4l60e uses same sensor)
oem 240sx guage cluster

I wish I could get this to work on my NX1600 cluster, worked fine with the ka swap, went LS and have the SGI and have tried all sorts of ways to get it to work and no luck lol

I'm running a carbureted LS so I will not have a computer other then the ignition controller. I'm using an AR5 that uses the same VSS as a 4l60e, so could I possibly use the signal straight from the VSS into the Dakota box or would I need something else? I have a GPS speedometer, but I want wheel speed instead of vehicle speed

i tried doing that direct and I couldn’t get the calibrations set right to make it work this is the only way I was able to get it to work tried many diff ways

I’m having an issue where my speedometer gives erratic readings after 60ish mph, below that the speedometer works perfectly, wondering if I’ve done something wrong or if the added ground like this would help with my SGI-100-BT.
My Set up is a LS3/TR6060 in my 1991 S13.

Did you try the sgi5 module that they sell with the wiring specialties harness as well? I've never been able to get that one to work, maybe bite the bullet and buy the model you have?

They are apparently discontinued or just out of stock everywhere. That’s the one I was looking to buy originally
