Hey Pascale. Thanks for uploading the video. I used it a few months ago to set up SRS and works great. Do I need to do a re-setup to get it to work on DCS 2.7? The new version doesn’t seem to see my SRS. Cheers for all the informative videos!👍
Hi Tactical, been playing DCS for some time but had a break due to illness for about 18 months or so. Slowly getting back into it and thought it was time to sort out radios for multiplayer. Your vid v helpful and I'm going to download and follow your brief and see how we go. would really like to get involved with multiplayer and tried to get on your discord however it keeps telling me the e mail address is already registered but dos'nt direct me to forgotten password so I can't progress joining discord? any suggestions? Thanks for this. What DCS tutorial videos in youtube really needs, is more videos for ppl getting into servers for first time. I have noticed that in many times the communications is the one that scares ppl. And it really is confusing, while there is very few videos in youtube about airplane communications itself.. "why has it many frequencies" " what frequencies should i use for what" etc etc. Many videos just assume, that you know about airplane / traffifc communications itself (like that theres awacs , ATC and so on.. By the way. Have wondered. What´s the IRL reason why Hecos usually use lower freqs?
This comment is spot on. I've now got enough time logged flying Solo, but entry into DCS MP is a blackhole. I'll figure it out, but it sure is not obvious. I just joined the TDCS and hoping the folks there can help.

Very nice explanation. thanks a lot. do you know if there is any problem recently with SRS and the Gazelle? previously, I configured my hotas to activate PTT when switching the channels. three buttons, one for each channel. but since two or three weeks, this is not working anymore. it is not switching the channels anymore, and it stays always on channel one. thanks again for the attention. cheers.
I’ll be honest Luis, I do not know. The gazelle is the only helicopter not in my collection. Check that there bindings haven’t changed in the updates I guess. Maybe someone else on the channel might have an answer, sorry.
@@TacticalPascale Maybe I am an idiot but I can't find commands that tune the radio on the SU-25T. Of all the SRS tutorials I have seen none of them demonstrate with a low fidelity module.

I've installed SRS, checked ports are open, checked scripts are in the proper folders, I get a green light on server and voip, but hand stays greyed out all the time even in a multiplayer mission if I directly put in server address, losing hair, help. I'm in a similar situation like Gort. Being pretty new I mostly use the low-fi aircraft. I can't seem to figure out multiplayer. I have SRS but never really hear anyone.
@@TacticalPascale Sorry, not a referee. I think a video with multiplayer low sim modules would be great. It would get newer players involved. Maybe a demonstration of multiplayer, maybe the training and capture base as an example.
How different is it to go on multiplayer with srs and vr. I would find it very awkward to use all those panel overlays and chat. This is what puts me off moving from SP to MP.

Dude. The GR are the worst channel to follow to learn anything. They make 30 min videos while 5 was enough. They just waste your time

Yes you can put you need to map keys to tune the radio

Download the server version, have it running with “auto connect” set in your options. Viola

Can I be a GCI running just SRS and LOTATC as standalone programs connecting to a DCS server or do I need to download DCS to enable them?
Yes, you don’t need DCS.
I've just spent 3 hours trying to get it to work, almost smashed my vr off the wall.
How different is it to go on multiplayer with srs and vr. I would find it very awkward to use all those panel overlays and chat. This is what puts me off moving from SP to MP.
They integrate with you aircraft. You change the frequency in the aircraft it changes SRS
