You pitched the level of detail just right for me: enough detail to explain what happened, with the reasoning behind what you did (and where this was a mistake). Its the sort of battle report that I can learn something from.
Well done, I like the list. I do like the larger Orc Boar Boyz unit, if I were on the opposite end of the table I would always take extra care on how to encounter them. Thanks for posting the reports.
So many nice models in them armies, dey propa green, the orc shaman on wyvern is one my fave models and i still have my made to order to paint up one day
Thanks for the video, really enjoyed it. I often go to firestorm games Cardiff with my friend, the place is great. I'm brand new to the hobby and Old World is my 1st tabletop game. Im also working on a nomadic waaagh list and going to have my first game with them soon. Definitely taking some tips from this video, thanks 😊
I have my first tournament in September. I am bringing big blocks of wood riders in close order and hoard formation. I also like the idea of an orc war boss on a chariot.

Lovely overview, thanks for sharing! I would be very interested in an overall coverage of what armies do well, which don't, and for what reasons. Also: what is TOW in general doing really well, and what does not work out in your opinion?
Congratulations on the good placement in the turnement. And cool, good looking army! I don't think it's legal to have the Bedazzling helmet on Orc on Wyvern since it becomes troop type monster.
Yea they’re not bad. The ambush is more reliable and kiknik has a decent output and he’s ld8. It’s just a lot of points for a unit that will probably die if it gets charged. Let me know how it goes if you use him..
I was hoping the tournament scene would be less competitive for TOW. *OLDMANRAMBLING* Back in MY days, 6th Edition Fantasy that is, and with little to no access to competetive meta data, most people were just playing what minis they had or liked or came up with fun lists they thought were strong. Tournaments basically were just a series of games you would have had in a store with a buddy. Sure, there were always overly competitive people, cheaters , rule lawyers etc., but for the most part, people were just wanting to have fun. The most "broken" list I have seen back then was a high elf army that exclusively was made up of silver helmets XD
Hmm nah I think it would be an arcane item if it were meant for Wizards only. I think that bit of the sentence just means you can’t use a wizardly dispel and use the green amulet on the same spell.
@simoneengelleitner947: Rules said: "If the bearer (and any unit they have joined) is the target of an enemy spell, they may use the Glowy Green Amulet instead of making a Wizardly dispell attempt....". For me the bearer is not doing a wizardly dispell attempt, so it should work. But maybe it was clarified in a FAQ. Greetings:)

Any thoughts on Kiknik with a close order blob of ambushers? I’ve heard their mobility makes them great backline hunters.

Putting the clowy green amulet on a nonwizard doesnt work. Only a wizard can use its ability to exchange a wizardly dispel attempt for the ability...

It works as is. No faq or wizard bearer required.
