      Unbelievably yeah, but I think that a little bit of pottering in car parks filming my awkward little chatty bits affected that slightly as well as avg speed

    Maybe I missed it but what speed mode where you in for the test? Would you say your average cruising speed was around 15mph? Or maybe a little higher? I’ve ordered two V3s with standard batteries on the literal “slow boat from China” and it’s been 37 days with no updates. I reached out to Meepo and they said the boards had made it to LA but that it might be a week until they’re shipped FedEx ground to me in Phoenix.

      Hi Brad, thanks for your question. I was riding in Pro mode the whole time, riding as I would do usually. I would say my ang. moving speed would have been around the 17mph mark - the stava app takes stops into account. That's very frustrating that it's taken that long, has the rioting in America affected the local postage at all?

      No pal, I opted for the faster shipping instead. I've ordered and after market 10s2p battery to use when the stock one dies, when it arrives I'll let you know what sorta range I get out of it

    What mode do you generally ride in? I stay in Pro and have been getting 7 miles on average :/

      I generally ride in Pro unless trying to conserve battery. Weight has a great deal to do with it. I have. Somewhat bulked up since making this video and I certainly get less because of it

    Hey man great video! Quick question, I ordered my board and I'm wondering if I find the trucks too lose when it comes, should I tighten the trucks? Or should I swap out the bushings? (If so, do I use the second pack of bushings that comes with the board? Or a separate kind on amazon) Im looking for a smooth ride, with easy turning and carving, but no speed wobble. Any way you can help?

    • @sublimedesk8244
      @sublimedesk8244  4 роки тому +2

      Hi buddy, decent question! A lot has to do with your weight and how the compound of the bushing gets compressed. I weight 66kg and I sue the stock 90a bushing (yellow) - there are extra 100a in the box but they where FAR too stiff for my weight. I ride with my front truck fairly looser than my rear, this means I can turn shart but avoid speed wobble. I am currently changing over to the orangotang nipples, the orange 80a's to see if ic an get even more carving out the board. Just make sure you have your rear kingpin tight enough and you distribute your weight more to the front and you should be A OK. Pop back if you have any more questions fella and I hope you enjoy the board!

      @@sublimedesk8244 Ill definitely try your trick by having the front trucks alittle looser. My board should be coming this Thursday so Im super hyped. Thank you my brother! ✊❤

      @@elios6248 definitely just keep having a okay with tight you have your kingpins and you'll soon find that sweet spot. Had mine over a month now and I'm okaging with my trucks daily still depending what I'm doing, looseif im trying to slide or tighten them for speed. And in terms of the gloves, they where just cheap downhill gloves from Amazon, I thi k I paid £7. Nothing fancy! I am planning on getting some gloves with slide picks as I ahve had to sew them back together already

    Hi I live in the UK as well is the thinner urethane wheels on the back wheels OK on the British roads

    • @sublimedesk8244
      @sublimedesk8244  3 роки тому

      Hi Dude! Really depends on your quality of road, I do rude rougher roads but I try to stick to nicer ones and decent car parks. The 100mm urethane over the 90 is a great choice and last a lot longer

    After a year should I get a new battery to make it brand new again or I would have to get new hub motors as well for new performance ?

    • @sublimedesk8244
      @sublimedesk8244  4 роки тому +1

      Morning pal, well it is in the UK anyway. From my understanding the hub motors should be fine, if you replace the battery you should see a significant increase in range and maybe top speed/torque. After a while the cheap cells Meepo uses don't hold as much charge etc. If you can, I would recommend either building a battery with Samsung 30q cells or buying a 36v 10s2p/10s4p battery that uses those cells, as you will get leaps and bounds more range. Also, every time you replace the PU sleeves on your Meepo, you replace the magnets in the hub motor as well which will be beneficial to performance each time. Hope this helped
