Having a play on some new software - this will be the intro for my upcoming videos. I have the Meepo V3 on order which will arrive in the next week or so, keep an eye out! I also have a Triple Eight Brainsaver that will be here any day, I'll be reviewing that too.
And its not rubberized or usb-C like the new wowgo remote.
MEEPO 5 months sins I order the board after 3 months if convestaion with custumer services no results.. this is some scam company ... I can't get my board and can't get refund just lies and promises that board will arrive soon that's all. Avoid board arrived finally box destroyed and pats missing. so you can try your luck
Absolutely beautiful, best video I came across after countless searching, Thank you.
My wife's Meepo V3 (M4) remote beeps, but mine vibrates - how do I switch mine from vibrate to sound mode?
Honestly I wouldn't know the answer. The best logical guess I could make, not knowing the intricacies on your situation would be that if you bought them separately that the version of the remote from one to the other is newer. Be it the vibrating one or the beeping one I couldn't say which was newer. I haven't ridne my meepo ina while due to remote issues and having a new build. But when I get a new remote I'll update this comment with whether it beeps or not.
@@sublimedesk8244 It turned out that I was mistaken. I took her board out for a ride to check, and only the board beeps. I think her board is more apt to beep after stopping for a couple of minutes and returning to motion, but I haven't verified that yet.
i got the helmets but i am worried it not my size i am waiting for it

Hi Dude! Really depends on your quality of road, I do rude rougher roads but I try to stick to nicer ones and decent car parks. The 100mm urethane over the 90 is a great choice and last a lot longer
What mode do you generally ride in? I stay in Pro and have been getting 7 miles on average :/
I generally ride in Pro unless trying to conserve battery. Weight has a great deal to do with it. I have. Somewhat bulked up since making this video and I certainly get less because of it

Sorry to hear, just bubble wrap and that's it? Mine came in a branded box.
@@sublimedesk8244 The problem is the precision of the speedometer , I prefer the first version of the remote even if it has a smaller screen.
@@NikoLas-mb8wc I'm in two minds about it. I prefer the M4 from an ergonomics and legibility point of view. Ita great for the average rider, but I prefer the smaller remote for more aggressive riding, it fits better into a hand with a slide puck. So given the choice, I'd opt for the original for myself with my srtle of riding. I would still however recommend it for regular riders as the larger screen offers cla clearer look at the analytics. The precision of the speedometer can be adjusted in the menu.
@@sublimedesk8244 exactly the same , the smaller remote fit better for me too. Yes , I should change the number to adjust the speedometer . I didn’t make it yet , too lazy 😅😅😅

I REALLY want to do a 3DF conversion kit review soon, I may be nicking the Meepo hybrid again soon 😉
nice vid.. you mentioned the 3DF conversion earlier... I have this, and would be interested to see if you can adjust the wheel size to anything that you like on this? I have the older remote that doesn't have the settings at all so i'm stuck on a 90mm size with either my 100's or the 3DF...
How old/when did you purchase your Meepo board? It is possible that your stock remote can also change the wheel diameter to make the distance and speed a lot more accurate. I had this problem with my stock remote, however I leant through YT and Reddit forums that you can also change the diameter on the old remotes. Get back to me dude and I'll help you find a solution!
Sublimed Esk8 interesting.... I bought mine May last year I think... one of the fairly early V3s. If you click the buttons to get the options up it just says “ok” on the screen
@@yorkshiremanjim it may be worth emailing in to find out what ESC it is that is running your board as this could possibly be the issue over the remote. I'll email my contact at Meepo and ask if the problem occurs ESC side or remote side. If its remote side then getting the new remote toy could certainly change the wheel size to get a more accurate reading for sure
@@sublimedesk8244 thanks... I thought it was the ESC that didn't support it, but would be good to know if it is the remote... I've had to put a new ESC in but it's still the older one a mate got and never used from about a year ago
I enjoyed the unboxing part, that format. Scott Davies uses it quite well too. But the ride and talkin part was my favourite part as its the kinda stuff I enioy the most in esk8 videos
Legend, I always appreciate your feedback my man - i'm glad you enjoyed the video, albeit a little long. Considering the circumstances i felt it only right to give Meepo an in-depth review of their product.
So no Max Speed information on the remote anymore?
@@Ben_jamin50 how do you mean?
@@sublimedesk8244 the old remote reports the fastest speed you traveled during your trip and resets every time you turn the board on/off. That didn't appear on any of the screens you covered.

hey i saw a tip that you should always put the blue truck bearings on the back no matter how heavy you are because most of the boards weight and your weight is on the back and you can put the yellow one in the fron and that will make it so there is no speed wobble and there will still be great carving, try it out and see what you think.
Thanks for the suggestion mate, luckily I don't struggle with speed wobble and I ride with really loose trucks, I always aim to have around and 70/30 weight split between the front and back, and if I ever do get a slight wobble I just lean forward and ease off the throttle and that sorts it. I think a lot of that is I'm quite light, I have also read what you had said somewhere and it's certainly recommended for new riders. What board you got pal?
Sublimed Esk8 hey i got a Meepo v3 for me it just makes it easier i’m a pretty good rider but it just makes me worry less and feel more stable especially because the roads where i live are really bad and bumpy so I personally like it but if your all good then great. Thanks for telling me what you think.
@@savethestick8609 hey man each to their own right! That's the beauty of boards, no set right or wrong way, you can set up your baord for whatever suits you, hell I ride goofy so I'm by no means the norm! After a year should I get a new battery to make it brand new again or I would have to get new hub motors as well for new performance ?
Morning pal, well it is in the UK anyway. From my understanding the hub motors should be fine, if you replace the battery you should see a significant increase in range and maybe top speed/torque. After a while the cheap cells Meepo uses don't hold as much charge etc. If you can, I would recommend either building a battery with Samsung 30q cells or buying a 36v 10s2p/10s4p battery that uses those cells, as you will get leaps and bounds more range. Also, every time you replace the PU sleeves on your Meepo, you replace the magnets in the hub motor as well which will be beneficial to performance each time. Hope this helped
Sublimed Esk8 thanks so much you help more than the Meepo customer support :)

How long does it take to reach when you ship it through the local fast shipping?
Hi buddy! Mine took 17 days to the UK but I'm sure USA is quicker. They quoted me 15-25 days so 17 is not bad at all
Sublimed Esk8 thank you!
Can you brake downhill. If you are scared of falling down. Please answer me if you can. Because I just bought on. Thanks.
Hi pal, so, downhill Braking, thinking about it, I'll make a video on it to cover the details. But to give you your answer now, when Braking downhill, the board will bring you to a very slow roll to the point you can take your foot off. Shallow hills you should still stop, and steeper hill you will slow right down and just have to put one foot on the ground. When Braking downhill theres no pull to one side or anything so long as you engage the brakes smoothly and are well balanced. You will be fine mate, any more quarion you know where I am!
@@sublimedesk8244 dude thank you so much I was afraid of falling down and breaking something and you just explained it. It makes me feel better that I know I can brake downhill. Plus I can't wait for that video.
Yoo how you get so many subscribers in 2 months?
I too am baffled!
This helmet is cool! I got it!
I love it as well, super light and I rarely feel it on my head
braking distance could also very on how much weight you are applying to the back wheels. just got my V3 yesterday! so awesome.
This is very true, I like to think I am consistent in my stance while braking but the thrase human error is a thing for a reason right!
how long did it take?
How much time did it take to deliver
If I remember rightly, with fast shipping, I think it was 17 days. Off the top of my head...
I have waited 7 days and it is not chipped from the company and on the website it ses 1-2 day’s so I think it takes ca 2 months
@@Sander.Valstad possibly, unfortunately China have just had another spike in COVID-19 so this may be affecting your order a fair bit.
Sublimed Esk8 jup my friend waited 52 days in the middle of covid 19 from a nodder company in China
My board got chipt after 14 Days and the boat use 20 to 25 days so it takes around 30 days to chip

Honestly no not really, to the eye mine look chewed up to hell, but, I have felt no difference in how they ride, its just aesphetic. How long did it take to start chipping sorry for all the questions bud
@@Abandonedexplorer they haven't really started chipping a huge amount, a tint bit here and their ebut more slicing than anything. They've deteriorated a little at the edges but they ride fine still
My fave part was "Aerodynamical"

Hey man great video! Quick question, I ordered my board and I'm wondering if I find the trucks too lose when it comes, should I tighten the trucks? Or should I swap out the bushings? (If so, do I use the second pack of bushings that comes with the board? Or a separate kind on amazon) Im looking for a smooth ride, with easy turning and carving, but no speed wobble. Any way you can help?
Hi buddy, decent question! A lot has to do with your weight and how the compound of the bushing gets compressed. I weight 66kg and I sue the stock 90a bushing (yellow) - there are extra 100a in the box but they where FAR too stiff for my weight. I ride with my front truck fairly looser than my rear, this means I can turn shart but avoid speed wobble. I am currently changing over to the orangotang nipples, the orange 80a's to see if ic an get even more carving out the board. Just make sure you have your rear kingpin tight enough and you distribute your weight more to the front and you should be A OK. Pop back if you have any more questions fella and I hope you enjoy the board!
@@sublimedesk8244 Ill definitely try your trick by having the front trucks alittle looser. My board should be coming this Thursday so Im super hyped. Thank you my brother! ✊❤
@@sublimedesk8244 Also, what gloves you rockin' in this vid?
@@elios6248 definitely just keep having a okay with tight you have your kingpins and you'll soon find that sweet spot. Had mine over a month now and I'm okaging with my trucks daily still depending what I'm doing, looseif im trying to slide or tighten them for speed. And in terms of the gloves, they where just cheap downhill gloves from Amazon, I thi k I paid £7. Nothing fancy! I am planning on getting some gloves with slide picks as I ahve had to sew them back together already
