7:30 "Hike a bike" The idea of the route is good, the overall 'scope' of the route is good but too many of the trails used are just the wrong ones - it's almost like Marcus Stitz (the routes creator) came up with a route map and didn't either ride it or ask others to ride it before publishing. FWIW most of the crap sections are easily avoided, with local knowledge. I live in the Borders and ride MTB, gravel & road.
@@GriffKane Agree, you did 'pick' a bad few days (which is a shame as we've had a cracking October), but there are decent all-weather alternatives plus tarmac 'avoiders' which IMO he should've used in the first place.
I'm glad Markus made these routes, but he likes a hike-a-bike more than most. However, doing his routes has meant I've visited many more places in Scotland than I would have. Thanks.
