Great tone and great phrasing man really glad I stumbled across this. How are you thinking about the fretboard when improvising like this? I feel stuck within scales and arpeggio shapes right now.

Thanks! I'm mentally projecting the scales and chord shapes onto it, like a sort of map. It's not the ideal way to navigate a tune. Best thing would probably be to think of the notes in the scales and arps, but I don't know the fingerboard properly.
