    This was my first color along ever using my new(at the time) Prismacolors. I was new to UA-cam at the time. My picture turned out very good. You do a very nice job of teaching! Thank you. After three years I found you again and subscribed, and now I have several other pictures that I want to color with you. I find your style very relaxing. Thanks again

    Thank you for sharing your talent! I've learned so much! I bought the 48 set or Prisma Premiers, as I couldn't afford the largest sets just yet. But can see I'll need more colors! Eventually, I'll add. Keep sharing!! I'll keep watching ...... Over and over and over!! 😊

    Love these videos you do! Can you tell me, are you burnishing the ends to get total saturation like you do? I've been told to build up layer after layer, but doesn't look like you do and it gorgeous! Also I see no blender pencils of any kind, so I'm thinking you are burnishing. I would love to get this effect without all the light layers over and over! LOL

    • @DavlinaArt
      @DavlinaArt  4 роки тому

      I'm not burnishing, nor am i using blender pencils. I'm always using the same technique...........dark color first, a little lighter next and use the lighters at the end. It always turns out great. The kind of pencils you use also matters.
      Happy coloring!

    I enjoyed this video so much. I really liked how you would turn the pencil in trying for us to see the number. Thank you. There are times with other videos that people do that I could not see the number. This is beautiful what you did. You make it look so simple. I hope mine turns out like yours. LoL. But....I am a beginner. Thank you so much for putting this video together. It looks like you press down firmly when starting and then fading out once you get out of the "shadow/dark" area. Is this true?

      As for your question, yes you got it. Here is a video that explains each step: ua-cam.com/video/U5nwgBlejtA/v-deo.html&lc=z121z15o2xuzhrlhs04chf5bkqrnyjaoweg

    I love your tuts. I do wish you'd list the pencil colors and numbers in the description box so we can be ready to follow along. The only criticism I have is that you hold the pencil up for too short a time and it's hard to read them that quickly even punching pause. All in all. Loved it!
    BTW, what are those colors and numbers, please.....

    • @DavlinaArt
      @DavlinaArt  7 років тому

      That's a fair criticism. In the newer videos i hold the pencil for a while so everyone can follow along.
      I'll list the pencils in the description box......that's a good idea.

      Hi Barbara, I don't remember the exact color, but i colored all the leaves in this video: ua-cam.com/users/edit?o=U&video_id=U5nwgBlejtA

    I love your videos..... What pencil sharpener do you use??? Do you use any other pencils to color?

    • @DavlinaArt
      @DavlinaArt  8 років тому

      Thank you so much! I use the prismacolor sharpener......Here is the affiliate link: amzn.to/1TGwSqT
      Nope, I just use my prismacolor premiere and prismacolor scholar pencils. In this video I used a gel pen. The links to all of them is in the description box below the video.
      Let me know if you need anything else :)

    Ai don't understand why you over colored the original shading of the flowers! I loved the first layer of shading.
    However, your technique is marvelous and I learned a lot having watched your video. Thank you for sharing.

    Oh Dalvina.... You have done it again. That shimmer is everythang lol. I see that you use prismacolor scholar too. Do you like them?

    • @DavlinaArt
      @DavlinaArt  8 років тому

      Thank you LaMesha Hale! Yes, I love that shimmer! I bought prismacolor Scholar by mistake and use them only if I don't have the same color in Prismacolor Premiere. It is ok, not a big fan. I paid for it so I guess I have to use it :)

      +Davlina Art I agree. I'm so sorry for spelling your name wrong in my comment😊 I have the 48 count prisma premier and I wanted to maybe add more. So thank you for your honesty. I really appreciate it. I'll stick with what i have..

    • @DavlinaArt
      @DavlinaArt  8 років тому

      LaMesha Hale 48 Count Prismacolor Premiere is definitely not enough......at least it wasn't for me. If you have money to spend, I recommend you buy more. Prismacolor Scholar is reasonably prised so it is not bad for its price. I ended up buying the 132 count Prismacolor Premiere. Here is the affiliate link, if you're interested: amzn.to/1XJOTcB
