For me, wolverine's death was *THE MOST* heartbreaking, because Iron Man did struggle in his life, but Logan is nearly 200 years old. Logan has gone through more painful shit than Tony Stark, and I can feel that struggle towards him

To find out years later that some jerk that hated him enough to rig the vote and put in tons of votes for him to die was just maddening to me. He was my first Robin, as Dick had already left it behind, and it was a shock to me as a kid. I'm glad he's back, but he never should've gone out like that to begin with. DC did him dirty.

Supergirl in Crisis On Infinite Earths, Shazam in Kingdom Come, Jean Grey in the Dark Phoenix saga, those snapped in Infinity War and those died in Endgame. Those are the ones that impact me the most. It seems like the only characters that stay dead in comics are the Waynes and Uncle Ben...
I'm not familiar with any comics beyond circa -95, but during the 80's I did subscribe to the X-Men (among other Marve comics) and the death of Phoenix was something I can still remember to date. Unfortunately they never quite got her as magnificient in the films as on paper. All subsequent experiences revolve around cinematic versions. On that side, one of the most memorable ones was Dr. Manhattan's self sacrifice in the Watchmen series. I cried. On the MCU, Tony, I cried. Groot, I cried. Black Widow, I cried. Spiderman, I was on the verge of tears but didn't cry ! The alternate MCU, Logan, obviously I cried like a baby. Great stuff !
for the flash death in crisis you could've also used Crisis on Inifite Earth Part 4 I beleive where the 90s Flash sacrifices himself. The crossover event showed that happen, also another question what about Arrow in Crisis on Infixe Earths? Both deaths in the Arrowverse especially Arrows are pivotal for the story and its sad that they aren't included, not even in the honourable mentions

That is why I think that the death of Kid flash, Bucky, Super Girl, Robin deserve a higher spot. Those deaths lasted for a long time.
Technically when the superheroes turned to dust they didn’t die, they was merely wiped from existence. So basically it was like they was never born, so if you’re not born you can’t die….still incredibly sad though. Just think back to the future…

One comic that sat with me and still does was the slaughter of the Avengers by Michael in Avengers 177. It was so total and complete and they were so helpless that it shocked and moved me unlike any other comic death with perhaps the exception of Superman and Robin
