I learned about these when I was in middle school. I got so angry when I found out that they died out not that long ago.

Ironically, some people think the few attacks on sheep were from dingos & other ferral dogs b/c weaker bite force of the Thylacine may have been too weak to kill a sheep, at least not an adult sheep.

Omg really!? Thats so unfair on the thylacines :(

They still may be around mate, up near Mount Roland, the highlands, or in the remote west.
No, they did climb. Take a look at what was said in Reel Random thylacine video.

Naw, the Thylacine isn't extinct. I saw a guy on the pavement walking one the other day! Although now that I think about it, it was just a weird looking dog. My mistake.

What an amazing creature! I'd never heard of this beautiful animal until now. Love your content so much! Thank you PF :)

Makes me think of the Falkland Islands wolf. A trustful and non-aggressive animal that was killed to extinction because the settles believed it would eat their sheep.

How much unexplored territory is left in Tasmania? The bulk of its 64,000 square kilometers??? It has been mapped from the air, but that's about it. I've always wanted to see a place where no one had ever been. They say the Congo River basin is a swamp the size of the contiguous United States. Anything might be there. We can't know how many private expeditions have passed, of course, but still, so intriguing. Like the cloud forests of Indonesia.

I'm not sure about unexplored, but certainly atleast 20% of the island remains complete wilderness. Very intriguing indeed. Something so mysterious about unexplored territory. perhaps a new species waiting to be discovered, how exciting!

People’s PET DOGS eat livestock more than these things seemed to.

There is a chance, although slim, I consider it at least a chance, that this wonderful creature may still exist!!!! Check out Forest Galante the biologist and get his take

They’re still around mate. Trust me... they’re still around 😉 the question is whether they have the genetic diversity to make a comeback, thats what is worrying.
