I mean, you can stroke/pet any animal if you are brave enough. *Disclaimer* : I take no responsibility for any injury, disfigurement or death resulting in the interaction between a person and any wild animal.
Herbivores can be more aggressive than carnivores, due to the stressors of predation. I, personally, imagine it being that eras’ equivalent of a wildebeest, rhino or even elephant. (But, I believe in not only a repetition in niches, but also in behaviors/forms.)
@@brockdavidbut since it never interacted with people it’s most likely that Stegosaurus would be curious if not cautious of humans if if first encountered them
I like how you related it to it's ecosystem with predators. Would love a brief overview of the flora dinos were living with in future vids. My palaeo art sucks because(among other things) I don't know what to put in the BG.
Interesting that Ungulatus is the largest species of Stegosaurus, yet Stenops is the one that is represented more frequently in documentaries, mass media, and/or pop culture.
Could you please lower the volume of the background music? As I am hearing impaired, a loud background makes it very hard to distinguish your voice. Cheers!
Are you going to think of a suggestion and creating a UA-cam Videos all about the Extinct Marine Mammals, Steller’s Sea Cows (Hydrodamalis gigas), also known as the Northern Sea Cows, or the Great Northern Sea Cows on the next Paleofactus coming up next?!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍
Viewer: What? Stegosaurus never lived along side T-Rex? That's crazy! Now you're gonna tell me that Dimetrodon never hung out with Stegosaurus? Paleontologists: How do we break it to him?
Stegosaurus was my favorite dinosaur when I was a kid. It really bummed me out when they never appeared in the first Jurassic Park movie. And then I got even more annoyed when I read the book, and found there was plenty of Stegosaurus scenes in the book that Spielberg decided not to bother with.
Stego is my favorite dinosaur. Its iconic and legendary!!
RIP Thag Simmons. You are not forgotten.
In my opinion people think of the Stegosaurus as a big friendly giant that could be stroked like a dog, I wonder if they could. 😊

Good point, it's a very rare occasion

Why is stegosaurus iconic?
It's just so different from anything that's alive today you know
Yeah, that guy is like a mythical creature.

It's a good video, but in my opinion your voice drowns a little bit in the background music
Thank you for the feedback!!
Stego prob had few issues w most of the predators like allosaurus, but tyrannosaurids are a whole other issue.
Hit like because of thagomizer!
