The way you construct your vlogs are very very good, well done
Theres is something about that styling which catches the eye.
Motobob thanks again for such great coverage!
Absolutly deep love for Svartpilen family. Nothing like the 701. But people like me, waiting for the perfect electric bike, riding commuting daily bike... Svartpilen 125 it's my ideal one ✌😍👌
I have the 401 Svartpilen, and I absolutely LOVE it. I definitely think the above-average price is perfectly justified.
Such good looking bikes. I’d be super happy to have a 401 in my garage.
Saw the 701, 401, 125 in the flesh today. Great looking bikes, but the 701 takes it for road presence such a beautiful bike. I’m only on a cbt at the moment as I can’t get a DAS for the life of me it’s all booked up into the near future so may go for the 125 and sell it after 6 months. I’m sure they will hold there value quite well.
Man that is a nice looking bike !
Why not a Herald if you live in the UK?
Looks amazing.
Cool!🤩I've subscribed!
Cool bike. Looks awsome
So tiny but probably a dream to rip on around town. 🥰
Is this the same size as mt 125 or cb125r ?
The svartpillen's look great in all sizes. If I was a rich 17 year old I'd get one tomorrow! The 401 is amazing value at the moment and if I was a rich 46 year old, I'd get one of those tomorrow too!
So a 30 year old should get the 250 I guess and a 60 year old can finally buy the 701.
Oh I missed the rich part completely 😛
Why tomorrow?
@@porkoholic when I was 17 the choice was either a Mito 125 or some Japanese commuter if you wanted a 125. When I was 30 it was an RS125. Consistently, I've struggled to afford fuel to put in whatever 20 year old shed I owned at the time, so it's all fantasy anyway!
@@bawalantony9843 because buying one today would be silly and a massive faff. Imagine trying to buy a new bike in the afternoon that you decided to purchase one. Last time I bought a new bike it took me a week to sort out the paperwork.....
Well get a job by the time you’re of age you should have enough to buy one!
AAARRRGHHH!!! I just bought the 2020 401, didn't even know this little wonder existed. Love the 401, am in the States so this might not be available soon, but still. What to do, what to do?? Sell the super cub when this is available? Add another small bike to the collection?? Thanks for the awesome review!!
Hope India gets it really looking forward for this !!
It will, check Husqvarna India online pages, 2022 they'll launching this in India.
Id take it over a grom, priced competitively! But yeah...that 401 is the way to go
I really like the styling of the Husqvarna bikes.
Please this bike needs to come to usa. I have the vitpilen 401 and this would be cool to add to my collection 😁
it would be too pricey, given it's made in europe.
Pillions on 125s. When I'd just passed my test, I took my wife on my CB125R that I at the time.
It was terrible , and we were only going on 30 to 40 MPH roads !
I think you need just a bit more power than 125s have to be able to carry a pillion :)
If I was after a 125cc bike right now, I still think I'd have a Honda CB125R, especially since the latest one gets all the allowed 14.7 BHP ( my 2018 only managed 13.3 BHP )
Sorry Motobob, I'm not that keen on the Svartpilen's looks, I guess some people like it :-D
What would be better for the total lbeginner - this, or the Honda CB125R?
Waiting for vit 401...
I'm 6.2ft and recently got my learner licence. I like that it could cater for my height but not sure it will survive to a sellable state as a learner at that cost. Any recommendations on a tall cafe style looking bike? I've seen Mutt, Herald and Bullit do versions of a scrambler for almost 1/2 the cost of this Svartpilen (which has my ideal look for a bike!) Welcome any thoughts! Thanks.
I had a 2018 Honda CB125R. Honda say "Neo Sport Cafe" , whatever than means ! I guess there maybe second hand ones around now. A new 2021 CB125R does cost almost as much as the Svartpilen here.
CB125R seat height of 816 mm is higher than my current Triumph Speed Twin . I'm 5 foot 11 inches and I found a CB125R fine on height. Some 125s can be a bit small.
@@karlosh9286 thanks... will have a look at those!
Check out zontes
@@justincork3838 thanks. Will do!
yes the Chinese machines are half the price but you will spend much more on replacement parts as I've heard the build quality is very poor stick to the Japanese machines. buy cheap buy twice
For the record, Svartpilen is Black Arrow and Vitpilen is White Arrow. F#$@%^g awesome!!
한국에 들어왔음 좋겠당~
True México?
A bit pricey don't you think but very nice
Good learner bike but it's too tall if you're short so you might be intimidated at first. Svartpilens are fun bikes though.
look very similar to the zontes g1 125, but 2000 euros expensive.
very good looking bike indeed but in this price range CB 300R would be my choice
Very nice 125 i will get 1 🇬🇧😁👍
The only downside to this is coming to trade it in when the L plates are removed..! 😢
....imagine if they used the 300cc two stroke in this set up. 🤔
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
VietNam Need This BiKE
I'm sad we in the US don't get these beauties in the lower displacements
Probably wouldn’t be significantly cheaper or lighter than the 401 models and would not be highway capable...
But the price is crazy and on par with 310cc+ BMW bikes so I personally wouldn’t pick this with the much more relaxed license laws you seem to have in the US than uk.
My advice to a new rider would be to buy a cheap secondhand 125 cc bike, as you're going to get tired of the lack of power very soon. Then sell it for more or less what you paid and buy something bigger.
It goes both ways. I have a 900cc and I want to buy this for a little around town ripper. I dont need 120hp for a lot of my everyday riding.
@@vintagerealityvr You could get a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 for £3700 , and have just over 20 BHP, plus reasonable torque.
I'm really not missing only having the 13.3 BHP that my 2018 CB125R put out ( 2020 CB125R does get 14.7 BHP ). Plus all that gear changing on a 125.
Once you've got your licence, a nice cheap 350cc looks like a great town bike.
Couldn't agree more. I bought a used Yamaha 125, kept it for six months and sold it for £40 less than I paid. I think paying £4500 for a new 125 is madness.
@@vintagerealityvr You won't do any ripping on a 125. Get the 401.
@@colindeans5972 He could get the 401. I have a Duke 390. Great engines.
My wife had a CG125 for a while and got 126mpg, I rode it for a bit and only got 41mpg....oops
Definitely a good looking bike. I’m looking for my first bike but I feel I’ll want something more powerful pretty quickly. Also looking for something lower considering I’m only 5’7
U gonna get bored with a 125 or 400 if u like zooming around town
If ur mellow then you'll be fine forsure
5’7 is more than good enough for it. i have the bike and im 5’3 and get both feet down
When I saw this, I kind of had hopes of a Husky grom competitor. Color me disappointed
G'Day BOB.I can't match your enthusiasm for this bike. I think i'll leave it at that,
WOOOOOOOOOOW AMAZING BIKE I LOVE IT IS AMAZING FANTASTIC IS MAGIC IS AWESOME ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Yeaaaaah with that price and money you can just get that 300cc bmw.
But if you don't have a license for more than 125cc?
When the price is getting to BMW G310R territory that’s how you know it’s getting too much imo
The price might be crazy but remember how much value the 401 lost in its first year. You could get it from main dealers for more that a thousand off in less than an year. I guess poor sales were to blame. I expect the same to happen to this one as well. I don’t know of many 17 year olds that can afford it.
Poor sales? These (401) are literally sold out everywhere in Europe at least.
@@aaa84gt they are not flying off the shelf in the UK. I’ve seen only two in the wild. A lot off dealers were offering them with £1000 discount at the end of the first year when they came out. Right now there are %0 interest offers on the very new 401.
@@bobmichaels8663 Okay, strange, I've seen people in for example Norway, Australia and many parts of US not being able to get one. 🤷♂️
@@aaa84gt no problem here. Besides really big cities bikes and scooters are not held to such standards with regards to commuting. I don’t know if it’s the weather or what. Cars everywhere. Bikes can be seen en mass mostly on sunny weekends. Shame as space is at a premium. I’ve got a 1984 bmw R80RT and I’ve seen more airheads in my neck of the woods than 401s. Could just be where I live though. But if I had the money I could go out and buy one tomorrow it won’t be an issue
lol im 15 and just bought one
Not at that price... No matter how nice it looks!
Just want to be able to get any license right now 🙄
I don't really understand why introduce this product. The 400 is a great learner bike...
À 5300€ la 125 ils se la gardent, autant prendre la zontes G125
would never buy this one if I could choose between a Honda CB125R, Kawasaki Z125, Yamaha MT125.
Predictable sheepoid response boring bikes
@@Wayneebrum you ok?
@@harrypottershead8331 yes Harry potter's head...
Not me. This bike looks more handsome than what you mentioned.
@@maximodakila2873 it doesn't look good to me.
Looks like a nice bike. Single cylinder bikes are ruining it for everyone with their irritatingly loud exhaust note.
haha what?? my gsxs125 sounds like a lawnmover... now I have a straight pipe
@@lucasvanhamburg4937 That's why they are restricting the noise emission.
@@ampm9771 all bikes are loud without mufflers... I dont get your point.
@@lucasvanhamburg4937 Yeah, that's the problem! haven't you heard how irritatingly loud single cylinder bikes are? moat of them remove the silencer. They are insane!
@@ampm9771 Well most people who own single cylinder bikes are teens so that explains alot.
why is this so pricey?... edit. ooh i get it now, this one is made in europe.
Too small.
Well it has to exist for those of us who live in the UK doesn’t it
Is Svartpilen Swedish for fart pile? 🤔 I'll bet that's what it sounds like.....
Seems reasonable
@@motobob 😂
😂😂😂
The design is really stunning.
But 5000 for a 125ccm?!
Also, why would you go petrol for a city bike? electric is the way forward there
I used to think that way, but battery pack for electric bike is so expensive that you'd get a lot more mileage with gasoline
Range, range, range.
That’s bloody hideous
Man that is a nice looking bike !
Agree. It's a pretty little thing. But pricey.
