This is probably the best video I have ever watched on mods. No fast talking, no stupid camera shakes, nice and easy! Thanks mate. You are legend. Every mod is practical and useful.
I really recommend getting the Wunderkind Speedo cover. Makes a huge difference Another mod you could do is getting the Arrow Pro Race Exhaust. Sounds way better than stock, a bit louder, much deeper and after putting on a few miles it will start to pop and crackle while decelerating
Buddy nice mods please add links and you can reach out to companys you bought the things from to get afflication links and get little bit commisions from the sales from those linls
That FuelX transformed my 401 into a genuinely fun bike to ride, that jerkiness is a real danger in traffic, often upsetting the balance on short corners; easy to fit and no effect on fuel guzzle
Thanks for the great vid…i have a 2022 Svart 401, do u have the model number of the Rox risers? - I ordered the 2 inch Rox but the diameter of the bars is apparently 26 mm not a standard 1 1/8 inch - cheers
Very nice looking, tastefully done mate! If it's not a problem, can you please add a list of all the mods and links as well, to the description maybe or just pin it in a comment here. Thanks a lot mate and ride safe.
Hello, the machine is very beautiful. Where did you get the storage and tail bags, they look very stylish. I would be very grateful if you could get back to me.
Awesome! Are you able to send me a link for the air filter upgrade and the fuel x to stop the stalling. I would love to see an exhaust mod or if you have any recommendations 😊
Aliexpress has them as do many other places. It’s the same air filter as a duke 390.Exhaust mods are endless but keep in mind there are 2 catalytic converters on this bike.(2022 model)One at the front of the bike and one where the exhaust enters the mid chamber behind the swing arm.As for the fuel controller look up “fuel x lite” or “fuel x pro” at Power Tronics. They are based in India where the 401s are made and they produce the fuel x there as well.A quality unit that got delivered here to me in Melbourne Australia in just 5 days….amazing service..✌️✌️
I've got a 2021 Svart that I bought in April 2022, and was convinced there was something wrong with it because of the stalling issue. I did lots of reading online and I finally found the answer: the bike HATES anything under 4k RPM. When I was stalling it was typically around 2nd-3rd gear, and when I'd dip below 40km/h in 3rd and my revs would only be approx 3k RPM. I've since learned to keep it in 2nd until I'm confident I need to be above 40km/h or that I know I can hover the RPM at 4k of higher. If you're still having issues during roundabouts or cornering, I've found feathering the clutch and keeping RPMs high has been good to avoid any further issues, else just remember to dip down a gear so you can keep throttle activated. 4 months now with no accidental stalls, all because I now have better RPM control.
One of my close friends has the Vitpilen 250 here in India. It's So much fun to ride this bike. Just the seat doesn't feel that much comfortable and the 842mm seat height is too high for me.
Great video! The bike looks nice out of the box to me and very little has to be done to this bike in my humble opinion. Anyway, do you plan to change the exhaust and when you changed fuel can't recall the name on it to smooth it out. I hear that could effect the warranty at least here in the US. Did it make that much of a difference to you? I have a 701 which looks very close to your 401 probably a little larger and more power. I got the bike and have no regrets it is a unique bike with a huge upside to me. I am surprised they stopped making the 701. Thanks
I got 22 model and have had the bike shut-off on me two times in two days of riding. Called Husky dealer and no recalls or anything about this issue. Something to keep an eye on and what I did not see in any other reviews about the bike.
Loved your mods vid. My wife just picked up a Svartpilen, great bike! Where did you source the Rox bar risers, we’re in Brisbane Keep up the great vids maye
I loved your video and the modifications you made to your bike. I also picked up the bags as you did. I had a difficult time locating the suitable bags for my Svartpilen. Can you tell me whether the capacity of the front and back bags are identical?
The same…6 litres. Having said that I also run another rear bag which is actually a Nelson rigg tank bag that I mount on the back if I’m going on a big ride I swap them out..👍👍
When you modify your exhaust or air filter you also by default change your air/fuel mixture which can effect the engine performance. That fuel controller ensures the bike has the correct air/fuel mixture..👍👍👍
Try ebc epfa HH 606 front pads Fa213HH rear Try Ktech front and rear suspension for your usage and weight . This will make it the bike that you will love it to bits and hate because it coughs to it's death... Spec the k tech for your actual use not for the 1% scenario. It's very expensive to recalibrate and takes a long time to get used to the suspension. For your seat Try medical grade gel pads sheet 1 inch pads and stack 3(depending on ur height) trim to size and sandwich it with 1 inch foam and a plastic layer on top . (The gel leaks oil and it will destroy your seat cover the plastic layer will block the oil but you need to wrap the gel layer well like a bed cover and stapled to the plastic base put another thin foam layer and finally cover with seat cover that u like ) Remove the base Husqvarna seat foam, use the 3 layer gel pads with 1 inch foam and wrap with a durable plastic sheet and it should be wrapped with a bit of slack or else the gel sheet will become too stiff . This is a great video man, thanks for the upload! It helps people like me who are looking to mod their black arrow. Can you tell me if you've put the same frame slider that you've put above your exhaust on the other side? Does it need the slider on the other side? Thanks man.

i got a question sir, i could see some other videos with level 1 K&n and a level 2 DNA filter, then the fuel x. would it be fine for the bike to have bother the level 1 and level 2, without adding the fuel X?
The bike runs stock very lean and if you put in a KN then it will run even leaner, which potentially could ruin your Engin. The fuel X fixes the stalling and lean running.
