If anyone is curious about the disappearance of Justin Y. On his youtube channel in the community tab you can see that he pretty much retired two years ago and only comments every once in a while.
This really made me uncomfortable and had my skin crawling so much…I’m not sure what is it but something about him was just so repulsive I literally had a visceral reaction to hearing his voice. Love your videos as always but Key was a little hard and uncomfortable to listen to.
I just wanted to add something. With the video/"social expirement" with asking for 50 cents. One is for a tangible difference, they are paying for his parking. Its 50 cents and they are directly impacting and seeing the outcome of their actions. That is not the same as asking for 50 cents infront of a fast food restaurant. They dont get to see the outcome of their actions and 50 cents doesnt buy a meal. More than one person would have to contribute and psychologically less people are then inclined. Just kinda bothered me.
Another big thing, don’t forget you can just cut out something so if somebody gave money to the “poor person” but they were trying to show that people wouldn’t they’d just cut it out of the video, pretty easy to manipulate sympathy for likes.

Someone else copy and pasted the comment on a different video of the same song and got more likes and responses than my original. That's fine, that part didn't really bother me. What DID get me were the replies I started to get accusing ME of stealing the comment, even though the time stamps were like a few months apart. It was wild lmao

If anyone is curious about the disappearance of Justin Y. On his youtube channel in the community tab you can see that he pretty much retired two years ago and only comments every once in a while.
Maybe he was young and now has gotten busier with life

This really made me uncomfortable and had my skin crawling so much…I’m not sure what is it but something about him was just so repulsive I literally had a visceral reaction to hearing his voice. Love your videos as always but Key was a little hard and uncomfortable to listen to.
I just wanted to add something. With the video/"social expirement" with asking for 50 cents. One is for a tangible difference, they are paying for his parking. Its 50 cents and they are directly impacting and seeing the outcome of their actions. That is not the same as asking for 50 cents infront of a fast food restaurant. They dont get to see the outcome of their actions and 50 cents doesnt buy a meal. More than one person would have to contribute and psychologically less people are then inclined. Just kinda bothered me.
Another big thing, don’t forget you can just cut out something so if somebody gave money to the “poor person” but they were trying to show that people wouldn’t they’d just cut it out of the video, pretty easy to manipulate sympathy for likes.
facts! people also like to pay themselves rather than handing out money. it gives them control of the situation and feeling of security.
Personally, i just opt to not give anyone on the street anything anymore. Doesn't matter if they look rich, poor, middle class, etc.
