This is our chance to educate the world we have eyes and ears on us. If there's a message to push now is the time.
Flag is gone. But the building is still there. I'll rebuild it with my own two hands. Because we are the kamali'i "children of the land"

There is a good saying! Do not dig a hole for another, you will fall into it yourself! The United States dug holes all over the world and more than once fall into it themselves! The punishing finger of God destroyed a wine valley in California a few years ago with the same problem as in Maui! Lack of fresh water! Instead of solving and spending money on these problems, the American government spends taxpayers' money on war, more precisely on organizing and supporting wars! Into what next pit will America lead its people?

Absolutely heartbreaking to see such a historic and loved town destroyed. Wishing all the best and a strong rebuild to the many families who lost their homes, and prayers to the many families who lost loved ones.

I was right there in 1972. Mom's boyfriend, Harry Pan Am Airline pilot, lived in Lahaina, 50 feet from the ocean, 100 yards from the harbor break wall. I have vivid memories to this day, 51 years later. My sorrow is unending upon hearing of the deadly fire in 2023. I'm sick to my stomach over the treatment of the locals. I hope the families find solace and closure.

I understand the tree was damaged in the fire but hoping it can survive and serve as a living testament to the spirit of Lahaina. The world is with you as you heal.

Arthur Waal was my uncle, married to my great aunt Frieda Bortfeld. Keoki Freeland is also a cousin. Nice to see them in this video.

Sorry m8... I wish I coulda done something, but not like we were born yet. Tell ya what, though, if my cousin's time machine ends up working, I'll add "yell at a missionary" to the list of things to do.
