Thanks a million for the upload!! One of the most direct and clearest how to videos on the lip add-on that I've seen! Just got a 97 CRV and want to do this mod ...thanks again!!!
I know this is an old video. But have you done a video about the projector retrofit and the foglight for that car? Im interested in them especially the foglight
Yeah still have them on, they ride working just fine but I think the passanger side might have a small leak, it looked like some oil might be leaking from it.
From the looks of the gen 2.5 crv bumper 05-06 the bumper on the bottom looks alot different than the rd1 jdm bumper , the bottom needs to be flat to be able to fit, you could make if work but would need some cutting on the bumper and the lip to fit the dimensions. I never seen one done but maybe somone has done it. Check # crvnation on Instagram for gen 2 crv pics.
Hey man I just posted this video on the Facebook group for rd1 enthusiasts. This is by far the best video for a step by step process on installing this lip. Btw would you ever sell those dc2 type r rims haha?
Haha at the moment no, I have them as winter wheels when I go to the mountains. I'm also a member on rd1 enthusiasts, I posted it a yesterday. Its under Bravo bravo
@@thebravoconnection946 thanks for the reply! I have a set on a s13 I bought and was thinking about getting them for my crv and it looks like I’m going to be buying them as soon as I get home!👀👀
@@thebravoconnection946 one more question. How did you mount them? I only ask because I just got a uk rd1 bumper and I want those fog lights =(). Thanks again.
@@ElReySupr3me I been thinking about doing a video on them since I get this question alot, i looked at different mounting options but the best and easiest way to get them lined up perfect was to wrap the side lip of the light with 3m double sided tape, there is a stronger version of the 3m I found at home depot, it will never come off again once it dries up without riping the paint off so you have to make sure it lines up right the first time. I parked on a wall and turned on the lights and leveld them up straight. Good luck.
@@dmad_era6414 its been 6 years since I got it, the website is no longer available. You can still buy them direct from _accesslvc or crvbrothers on Instagram sometimes they also pop up on ebay from time to time.
Hey man quick question i have a 1997 crv with a jdm front bumper but ever since i installed that bumper i have a gap sittting in between the driver’s headlight and the bumper i changed the fog lights that the bumper came with and installed smaller ones to see if that would fix my issue but it didnt and my fog lights keep touching the wiper reaervoir tank so what adjustments can i make to so the bumper can fit properly i know the jdm and usdm wiper reservoir tank are not the same for a fact
The headlight bumper gap is a simple fix, there is a braket under the headlight that sits behind the bumper under the headlight that needs to be adjusted a little bit higher so when you reinstall the bumper it will sit on top of it and close the gap, maybe at one point the headlights got removed and the braket wasn't put back in the same position? That should fix it. I had the same issue and realized it when I changed my headlights. For the fogs most guys removed the washer reservoir and cut it and then fiberglass it to reshape it. When I purchased my bumper somone had cut a section of the foglight behind the bumper so I couldn't mount the oem fogs, but it didn't touch the washer bottle, so instead I used 4.5" cree led foglights.

Are you still running the maxpeeding rods coilovers? How are they holding up if so
Yeah still have them on, they ride working just fine but I think the passanger side might have a small leak, it looked like some oil might be leaking from it.
I've been riding on these maxspeedingrods coilovers for 2 years, through all seasons in Iowa and they're still holding up good
Could of keep the old lip u found and use it as the mounting bracket for the new lip lol
Looks amazing! Do you know if it would fit an 06? I know we had the face-lift, but not sure if the dimensions stayed the same. THX
