I have a 2001 Honda CRV just like yours! Even the same color! I just acquired the an OEM spoiler and thats how I found this vid. I wanted to see how to install too. I'm glad I saw your tutorial. I have to paint mine too. After seeing the final result, I can't wait to see mine done.
Great video man, well done! It looks like you have a new centre led brake light, do you mind if i ask where you got that from? The Leds on my car are failing, only half work.
Thanks the only reason why I didn’t show it is bcuz I am not a painter but I am not afraid to get down. But all I used was oreilly perfect match rattle cans 2 coats of prime and 3 coats of green and then 3 coats of clear. Hope that helps
Hey man when you painted the bumpers SE style did you paint the black plastic first or the green pearl first. I’m about to do the same and I’m not a painter. Just worried about the line between the black plastic and paint.
@@devindean1167 2 prime 3 base 2 clear i got my base of auto parts store make sure you have good lighting in your place of painting bcuz it will show you where you need to put that base more. just masking tape with news paper. go slow on the masking so you get a nice clean line. i used blue tape.

Glad I got a crv 97 with one already got it from a auction for 1800 Awd & it only gots 150k miles for sure gonna be a new project
Looks good man great video. My chrome was dull and ugly as fuck. So I got it all paint matched. Oem is a must when it comes to parts.

Did u apply any anti-rust to those drilled holes to prevent rust? Is it needed?

to be honest I didn't paint the black plastic at all mine was not that faded so i just went and put the green on top.

Yeah I got the idea from another CR-V UA-camr loved it bcuz it looks like factory installed and I have not had any leaks.
