Short tutorial about how to make a pressure sensitive brush and draw with it in Adobe Illustrator.
Pressure sensitive brushes are to be used with pressure sensitive tablets and pens like the Wacom Intuos pen tablets or Cintiq pen displays. Make thinner lines when you press light and thicker lines when you press hard.
In this short video you learn how to make a pressure sensitive brush via the brushes panel en adjust the brush settings to your needs.

how did u get that pressure on the brush right away? without editing it first? my touch calligraphy brush is straight

I have a huion new 1060plus tablet. Pressure sensitivity doesnt work on illustrator although it works perfectly well on photoshop. the pressure sensitivity test works perfectly from the huion tablet software. I set it for my brush to have pressure sensitivity but it seems like my strokes are at random no matter how much pressure i apply, the line comes up thin sometimes and thick sometimes and i am not sure why. although pressure sensitivity was specifically on it seems as if the thickness is coming at random and i really dont know how to fix it. any advice ?
Could you solve it? I have the same problem and I couldn't find any way to fix it.

Yup, same issue here. Tried everything. Uninstalled, reinstalled, adjusted settings, tested, nothing works

has anybody tried this with side car with the iPads? I can't figure out if I can do it or not.
Thank you very much. It works excellent. Wacom Intuos Pro PTH-651. It gave me more natural results using Tilt instead of pressure on the angle (second settings).

hi, my setting all same but my lines are very thin, not likes yours, you have very heavy strokes. Also, how you are getting color fill not stroke fill in your blob brush, very strange.
the pressure option is greyed out in my adobe illustrator 2019, im using wacom intuos pro on macbook catalina os

Nacho Fuentes if you are using mac, just go to the tablet settings and there is a pressure option in the pen settings

same for 2020, but the wacom tablet has brushes that are already pressure sensitive so thank Glob for that

My Illustrator does not let me select pressure botton. Any help? Im using Huion Q620M. Latest driver is installed. What else should i do?
