I remember the first time i listened to this concerto on Andres computer, i knew it was gonna be all over the world, it's so unique and beautiful. This was beautiful Dominik.
Dominik Wagner is a great inspiration to me, seeing a new generation with the help of contemporary composers extoll the beautiful Bass Violin. 💗🙏

I heard the tale end of this piece on the radio about a week ago in the US. It gave me goosebumps! I was driving and didn't write down anything, I just remembered double bass, Andres, and that the performer was immediately hired in Trondheim, Norway I think. So beautiful.

Nugatory Cognizance One whole step up. He is using solo strings.
He plays so effortlessly that he makes it sound as if they are but they are only tuned up a whole step

Dominik’s instrument is a 200+ year old bass from an unknown Italian maker. To get something similar… you’re probably looking at a bare minimum of $60K USD.
