I stabled to your channel when am researching for a video and my God you are a lifesaver some of the games I recommend on my videos sometimes I don't have time to play them all myself so finding your channel was nice and welcome back can't wait for your videos
10 years aready?, I still remember seein' ya play Fallout 1 live while we were scamblin' to help ya with the books at the Hub's library like it was yesterday. However despite the odds, your content fills a very special place for me because when you pull up a video is either from a game I never head before or one I saw but forgot it's name altogether (like in the case of Pathologic), regardless in both ways I always end up thankin' ya for uploading that stuff.
As for the hardware limitations, I know your pain, I had lived on a tight budget for most of this century, gaming on a PC that went obsolete by the year 2007 and only replacing it by late 2022. I remember your review of Underrail and how the reccomended requirements listed 2Gb of RAM and that been the max amount my PC could handle.
However under limitations one develops a way to move fowards by some clever trickerin' or sheer luck, so not all is lost in thos painfull years of gaming at 25 FPS on a machine that was hottier than Chernobyls reactor after the blowup.
Long story short, congratulations on this annyversary and I wish your life gets stable enough for you to look back at those years like they belong to a bygone era.

Yall in the chat helped me get through severe brain fog that day and motivated to me play classic Fallout more than just a few times and helped me understand that in order to really understand some games you gotta beat like a dozen times..and since then i certainly did
When underrail came out I thought 4GB was pretty good ha but you had lower ram than my craptop ... I feel your pain I hope you got a better pc now
I do look back at the past ten years with a smile when it comes to this channel.. and it does motivate me to make sure i can upload a 20th anniversary video

Just finished fallout 1 for the first time. Probably wouldn't have even touched it, if it weren't for the videos you've made on the game. Thank you for all of the vids over the years and for reminding us that there's still merit in these older games

Hey that's not so unheard of actually. My brother has a laptop that was high end back in 2010. And I guess it's a laptop thing, coz my 2007 PC has no issues but the laptop overheats like crazy. Initially was the usual 113F, but then years later probably dust clogged it, and was reaching 213F at which point it would shutdown soon. Even after servicing it was 140F by default and up to 180F when gaming. Now it's back to that.. you can open a lot of browser and UA-cam on it. But the moment you open Fallout 1 on it, it goes crazy. Yes really I did the same test long ago seems like it doesn't matter if it's an ancient game or not, for some reason entering a full screen application makes it go past 200F. Idk why browsing 30 opened web pages + UA-cam playing is less intense than F1

Just a suggestion, but don't make long videos.
Really there is great utility in brevity. Not only in terms of watchability, but shorter videos force creators to be more focused on the important aspects of what they want to convey.
These hour+ long videos turn into super subjective nitpicking which is not interesting.
If you have so much to talk about a game, split it per topic/theme into multiple videos. Don't post 2-3 videos for the same game, but mix videos for other games in between.
