- It’s fruit and berry season in Ireland and it always gives me fond memories or delicious homemade desserts when I was young. This fruit crumble is crunch light fluffy but also tangy and packed with fruit. Worth a try for anyone looking for an autumnal dessert.

INGREDIENTS:
500g frozen strawberries
300g frozen blueberries & cranberries
200g apples
4tbsp water
5tbsp maple syrup
1tsp ground ginger
2tsp ground cinnamon
Topping:
150g gluten free oats
3tbsp sunflower seeds
3tbsp pumpkin seeds
50g almond flour
90g maple syrup
75g coconut oil
Bake @ 170C for 20-25minutes

apples and almond flour are high FODMAP
Would love to know what this recipe is in cups, & the oven temp for the United States ? What could I use instead of strawberries ? maybe blackberries ?

Hi guys. Thanks for recipe. People, if you can't get GF oats you can use desiccated coconut or GF flour rubbed with butter & sugar into crumbles. Or try amaranth, teff, chia seed, millet or quinoa- I think a mix would work out ok.
Just did it .. but since I don't consume oil I replaced coconut oil with Pumpkin puree and it was really good .. thank you sooo much for this :)

Is it possible to replace the coconut oil for olive or avocado oil? Can we replace the maple syrup with honey? Are the almond thing mandatory?

Aren't apples high fodmap? On the Monash app it allows me 25g or 1 tablespoon limit. So does this mean I can only eat 1/8th of the finished product each day? Bummer!

You could swap the cream for coconut yogurt. I think that's low FODMAP.

We can't eat apple
This is not low FODMAP! My daughter is highly reactive to FODMAPS and she would definitely react to this. Apple even in small quantities can trigger symptoms.
