There seemed to be a problem from the start, she kept falling. Third time was the last time. That said, I hope she's fully recovered.
Ashley is uncoordinated. It s happens when there is a lot of doping. They are americans - WADA allows them. Don't worry, everything will be fine.
Sa sad... now Ashley has posted a message on instagram: luckily, the concussion is not severe, and there are no visible injuries on her face. But she feels "a bit broken and lost" and fights hard against negative thoughts about herself. At least she receives help from her team in France to overcome sadness and depression.
I hope she'll recover well until next season... imo Cain-Gribble/Leduc were the most elegant pair in Montpellier, and the White crow - short program was a real highlight!
I just saw her for the first time...She is soooooo capable for this sport. She must overcome this event. Is she vaccined?
As someone who has had 5 concussions myself, these make me cringe every god damn time even though I know what the end result is going to be. I can’t imagine what she’s going through right now

I'm sorry, Ashley needs to recover, correct her technique or be done with figure skating altogether before she gets permanently injured. She's been taking hard falls in competition for years. She took an enormous hit to the head when she fell out of a lift 4 years ago. I'm scared for her everytime she skates.

they are medics. It's just that a lot of times, skaters go on with their routine after they fall, so they don't go in that fast. I was even a bit surprised when i saw her lay down, i didn't see that she banged her head.

Ashley had a much more dangerous fall at the Golden Spin 2018: ua-cam.com/video/54ZkF4VgAWc/v-deo.html. There she also looked dizzy after the crash - and surprisingly kept on with the performance! But in Zagreb, the mistake was Timothy's, not hers. Here in contrast, Ashley is unable to land jumps 3 times in only half a minute, and the unique chance for a medal at Worlds crumbles to dust. This must feel unreal and shocking for Ashley - regardless of the physical impact of the falls (which don't look too severe and happen several times in training).

relax Linda. She does this for fun. Nobody forces her. Billions of people have no choice but to fight and crash on their heads many times in the process. It is sad, but the fact that she was born in Gods own country gives me hope that she will not hit rock bottom in her life. It was a sad moment though when she fell, no doubt.

Don’t need to fall on head to get concussion (or be woozy if it’s not that) brutal fall definitely wind knocked out and sore
Looks like she might have hit her chin.
Her head/neck whipped really strongly downwards. The hospital said she had concussion. Unless you're the skater, you can't judge what happened to her. No skater would ever feign a bad fall to stop skating. It's not in our nature. Ashley is a tough cookie, and wouldn't stop for no reason.

Головой она не ударилась. И падение не выглядело таким уж страшным. Скорее она испугалась и была расстроена сорванными предыдущими прыжками. После короткой они были вторыми. а тут всё полетело под откос. Больше похоже на спектакль. как у футболистов.
Да она на лёд вышла больная, она несколько раз упала, голова у неё кружится, может температура, может перепила каких-нибудь разрешённых лекарств. У них там со справками можно. Вот как в прошлом году с гимнасткой было, помните?
На видео не понятно, что случилось с головой? Она же не ударилась лицом или головой.

По ее физиономии было видно, что она разыгрывает сотрясение мозга, но выглядело комично и неубедительно. Хоть бы пожаловалась на спину или лодыжку и то было бы похоже. Помниться одна американская одиночница, провалив несколько прыжков, начала рыдать и жаловаться судьям на коньки. Нация - голливуд.
Her head hit the ice for a fraction of a second and bounced right off. Apparently she is now in the hospital for examination and mostly monitoring.
I don’t know about that. I had a similar fall on a triple salchow when I was learning triples. Hit the entire right side of my body, thigh, hip, shoulder and bounced the side of my face off the ice and completely knocked the wind out of me. It happened fast but man did it hurt. It may have been over 20 years ago, but I remember that hard fall. She very well could have bounce part of her head or face off the ice

Штаты нас не могут любить по определению, как единственную страну, возбухнувшую против их гегемонии. Канада потому что туда свалила слишком большая свора тех, чьи потомки сейчас ходят по Киеву с факелами и портретами небезызвестного Стёпы. Австралия за компанию с Канадой и по той же причине. А Европа нас ненавидела всегда и при любых раскладах. Тут никаких иллюзий не надо строить. Понравиться ей даже пытаться не надо.

И вообще , Посмотрите как он позирует, как он делает ручками , как кидает ее, что она устоять не может. Он любуется собой. Это как бородатая женщина.
А в зале всего два зрителя - один в красных пайеткпх, и одна с красно-белым платком. На это ушла куча эфирного времени, учитывая сколько оно стоит.

It's certainly hard to tell due to the compression and the angle. And it happens so fast. On first watch it looks like nothing really happened, but after repeated viewings, I can see where there may have been contact. Will be interested to see if there are better images of the impact, just so her doctors can have a better look at what exactly happened. I got a concussion due to a glancing blow to my jaw once (skating! But playing roller derby) and it was not a hard hit. It doesn't take much!
For me it looked like disorientation, like when you get up suddenly and suffer a little dizziness and stop seeing your surroundings
They're not saying but I think she has PCS from her other terrible fall and she just couldn't do it. Also it looks like her forehead bounced on the ice so fast it was hard to tell. But I still think PCS.
