Being honest, currently the best way to play gacha games is to disconnect your mind from media about it. Just play it. Don't read comments about it because there will always be a retarded to make war between the games like it's politics, sports or religion. HSR x Genshin, Genshin x WuWa, HSR x WuWa. Like I always say: there isn't a "side". You don't need to justify why you play the game you like and in the end, if you do that, get a job.

Nah, I disagree with the note that in WuWa u get things done too quick, it's actually on a very balanced situation for long term engagement imo. One example, is the grind for echoes with good stats. which is pretty hard but not as hard as genshin either (took me almost 1,5 years to build an "almost there" perfect raiden shogun). And, even if u manage to get the necessary echoes, the end game content like Hologram/ToA require ur actuall skill to complete (except if u are a whale then u are out of the eq). And with all that, I think this game is very balanced, and for this aspect alone I can see myself playing this game for a very long time.

what tectone say is pretty much correct because event in wuthering waves can be cleared as soon as they released by everyone even without investing in your character. because fo some reason they lend you a 5 star characters with great stats to use to clear the content hell even they add a buff in the illusive realm to make all your character lvl 80 lol. so although i rarely use them because i have decent built characters in my account, i think it's fine because it's probably there to facilitate new player so they wont feel intimidated to try and clear the event. and thats probably why there is some ilusion of how player feel there are too little amount of content in the game then they actually are.

The fact that the material use to build a character not time gated, to max out all skill pretty much very easy as well as ascension mats you can buy it quite a lot in shop, and so far, there's no character that require a stone/mineral as the ascension mats, making it very easy to max out character level too
Imo I kinda like it that way, because I can treat wuwa as a side game instead a main game. It respects your time by making things quite easy to get mats and build your character...
About echo though, that's completely different story, since how bad luck I have with the substats, I spend more time hunting for echoes and its exp... which kinda begin to feel repetitive, reminds me of farming artifacts in genshin,

Because WuWa main event arent limited by time, at least for 3 patch, hope this thing still keep up because this people dont always have a time to clear it.

The optimization thing is true, i used to play on low at 45locked fps and get stutters nowadays im on high with 60, they did a fuckton of optimizing to get there

Really like seeing Box2 with these two. Box2 was the reason why I got to know Tectone. Was his new viewer and he defended Tectone from his chat. Me who was in the Genshin community at that time, I got curious cause I only heard bad things about Tectone. Watched the baldie, immediately liked him. Watched his podcast, MrPokke was there. His video got recommended to me and I liked him. Eventually I got to know every cc the gacha community. All thanks to Box2 lol!
Rover might be the founder but not the current leader, which would be good if the ideas have changed in the organization and conflict the orgin ideas. That's just one idea it would make for a cool story
I haven't played WuWa much since launch, but it's not really anything against the game. I've just been busy with other stuff, and have hardly played any gacha games. Looking forward to binging this one again once there's a bunch of stuff to do. Same with HSR

I'd rather the gacha games be like WuWa. I hardly play HSR because I'm sick of relic farming being the reason I play because I'm not playing because I want to or have something to do. Its a bullshit grind or reason to come back. Game is kinda boring and chasing that perfect relic is the only reason we play and its not even like you truly need it. Wuthering Waves I can have fun fighting bosses, clearing content basically ACTUALLY playing the game. I can farm relics all day and that's all I've ever wanted out of these games. ZZZ I don't have crazy good relics but the content can still be cleared so its fine.

I personally think hsr is boring because the gameplay is a chore but i am invested in the story. Wuwa is in reverse as i am playing for the gameplay content but so far the game doesn’t have the same hype of a story as hsr
Hsr story has more “eventful” cutscenes but aside from that it’s really just a ton of yapping

I didn't play hi3 so yeah, for me Acheron was just yapping and by the end what I undestood about her was: 1) she's the strongest and I must love her bc she's hoyo mascot and favorite; 2) she has no character and no real story. With Sparkle - well, I started to play this summer so I saw no ads but she was kinda meh, just glued to the plot. Honestly half of cast could be removed and the story would be much better.

Im just gonna say it before drama starts im im a day one genshin and wuwa player and just a average person who has enough irl experience to see when someones trying to fish for drama and to be able to see through this immature drama. Frankly im just annoyed this is still continueing i cant simple watch a guide with out bs. The only people who are creating drama are kids or immature people. People that have emotionally or finacially invested in a game or bots with no sense of context to their accounts but the drama they post on cc videos. Example posts from fornite kingsimba and camila and some random numbers. have enough experence to ruin both sides of this childish arguement genshin 1.0 and wuwas 1.0 early story was indeed bad it didnt lead into anything and had you draging your self around the place. tasks that had no reasoning to be done such. We all heard the complaints about wuwa and since its new theres no need to rehash that. but im just gonna remind people of 1.0 genshin cause its been 4 years and new and old player may not know.or remember. Genshins Its first event required you to pay or waste stamina to get rewards. And the bugs were terrible imagine having good internet and falling through the map upon logging in server going in or out.. Or being afraid to invite randoms in your world because people were getting there accounts stolen due to lack of 2fa. Then there was the flore incident where the forgot to fix the dialogue of one of the adult character they wanted to marry the kid flower seller that because flore was an adult in the beta but they wanted to have it more relatable to kids that play genshin . They fixed it and changed it to treat as a little sister. A more recent game breaking bug the kaveh i delete you game bug.
Im not saying this to bad mouthing genshin or hoyo im just relating that the newer players have no experence of 1.0 genshin and a causing drama for other games with no prior knowledge on how hoyo verse games were and acting like it was golden and peachy. Creating a teapot calling the kettle black situation and annoying everyone just to seem relavent.
So yes both games started bad.

i have the same stat luck in Wuwa as i do in hsr and genshin tbh, so i dont spend less time in wuwa. technically i spend the least in genshin since i dont even spend resin much anymore. i just do dailies and events. hsr i spend the most time though, especially if im farming relics

No Teccy Calcharo is from the first city he is not tied to the Blackshores, he is more like a mercenary from Jinzhou which is the first city
Calcharo is from the federation, like Verina. He's pretty much a mercenary who's constantly overclocking.
he is a new federation character (third region) and is a member of ghost hounds mercenary
he is not affiliated with jinzhou he just got so many things to do that he sometimes ends up there and has to wear camoflauge(you can read about this on his info(his current clothes are designed like what a person from jinzhou would wear, suggested by jiyan hinting theres a connection between them))
Calcharos actually in jinzhou rn, you can see him at the festival at night up a hill, they just dont have a good way to introduce him yet
