Just a little tip from a hairdresser, the more you run your fingers through it the more you’ll ruin the volume. The natural oils from your hands weight it down. Looks great though and I love how excited you were with your results!
Hairstylist here…. two things I would advise you to do differently. I would purchase Velcro rollers that are about half the size that you were using, and when you put the heat protectant on, I think it turned around and negated the root lifting product. I really don’t think you need the heat protectant that’s just my opinion. You are using nice tools and then Velcro rollers and not using a flat iron or anything. You would get more volume if you skip the step of the heat protectant. Looks good, though you did a great job!
@@carolinasullivan123keep it away from your roots. Heat protectant does the same to my thin fine hair. I spray it on my ends sparingly and with my head tipped upside down. Then run my fingers through being careful not to bring it to my scalp.
Okay so, I once had the thick Farrah hair in the 80's. Some tips now that we're no longer in our 20's like the influencer. Since you're okay with buying a lot of products and hair devices, there is colored hair powder that you can rub in your scalp that will disguise all the thinning lines. You can even use the Clairol root spray on your scalp. It will cover all that scalp showing through. Use medium not jumbo rollers. Make sure that your hair is completely dried before you start whacking away at it with your fingers. That just made it lose the curls. Roll the hair up and under all over your head. Not forward. Once you release each curl, spray a little bit of light hairspray, even use a curling iron on each curl to make it last longer. Don't use your hands but use a hair-pick to fluff it up.
You are one adorable lady! You have more gadgets and products than anyone I’ve ever seen! When you brought out your little fan to dry your hairspray with, I thought I would die laughing! You are so cute! I hope your dinner with the boys was wonderful!

I'm in my 50s and would like to share a good tip with you, it is an old fashioned remedy for thinning hair.. Onion juice.... I really noticed I have new hair growth in these areas and very little hair fall....it really does work.

I see lots of hairdresser so hello❤ and I'll add my 2 cents... if you're using heat protection do it when your hair is slightly damp and hasn't had heat yet. Remember the more products you use the more your hair will be weighed down. You need a little smaller roller for your length of hair. You will still get the same result. Also as a person with fine hair the velcro rollers make my hair so frizzy. I use regular old plastic rollers. When you get out of the shower roll them up. You can skip heat if you just put a little shaping mousse or something to hold your style. Roll it up and let it dry naturally. You can also hit it with a little heat if it's still too damp after towel drying. I would suggest a shine light hold finishing spray. Also cleaner hair will be less weighed down with oils etc but dirty hair holds curl etc better. Try rolling your rollers slightly forward to help that root boost. Not many ppl work with rollers now a days but I do my gmas hair often as she is 80 and ill. She does roller sets a few times a week. Her hair has had some issues bc of her meds so we are trying to counter breakage. I bring this up bc several things add to hair texture and thickness. Make sure you don't wash your hair every day, make sure you are using the right shampoos and conditioners. Expensive doesn't alway mean good. Focus on your ends only with conditioner. Your scalp doesn't need the extra moisture it will only weigh it down. I have platinum blonde hair down to my butt and when ppl ask me how I tell them I rarely use heat and I do masks when needed. I also don't overlap color. If you cokor your hair be careful not to over process. Lastly have fun girly! Remember you are unique. Experiment and try new things. Find out what you like and don't ans what works for you and your hair. You are beautiful and stunning. Chefs kiss! Big hugs❤❤

You’re doing a great job. One thing I would suggest is skip the root lifter spray and use a volume powder at the very end instead. This gives a lot more lift and volume at the root where you want it, and it’s dry so it works all day and night. I use this on my fringe to volumize my fringe and it’s like a miracle in a tiny can. It’s inexpensive and you can use very little to get results 🙂
You just need regular mouse since your hair is thin. Start at the top center front to back with the heat curling and then add the medium sized Velcro rollers with large Bobbie pins not the fat clips (they don’t work sliding in), and roll AWAY from your face. Then repeat half way done your sides and back again curl AWAY from your face using medium rollers and Bobbie pins, the bottom of sides and back. Once medium rollers are rolled away from your face spray with hairspray and leave for at least 1 hour. The remove rollers AND Style with fingers once and then leave it alone.
