Dear cat food, please be good to Billi’s tummy. She is an elderly cat and we would like her to be as healthy as possible! Thanks for sharing your world Billi and thanks for being there in our world. These videos are precious ❤
Thank u Kendra 🙏 I seems weird, even to me, to enjoy watching 5 minutes, of a cat I don't have, eating her dinner but here I am 🙄 enjoying every second 😁
Totally agree that she is enjoying this type of food. Suggestion for her aging comfort: put her food dishes, water up about 2- 3" from the floor so she doesn't have to lean down so far to eat. It helped my senior cat in her last years. ❤️🥰
And at an angle! I got new bowls for my cats since one was puking up every meal and it’s 3 inches off the floor and angled slightly to make it easier for the food to go down and the one cat hasn’t had an episode since! It really does make a huge difference ❤
@@kathyjohnson2043 Well, I've heard more than one cat make the "Mrrah!" sound when they wanted to emphasise that they wanted something to happen _now_ or faster, and not just in a dissatisfied way. That's why I think it's more along the lines of "Hurry!" than "Frustrated!".
I'm perfectly good with it because I can skip ahead, but I find myself bemused by the revelation that there are viewers who want to see somebody else's cat eat an entire meal in real time. :-)
Yes, I appreciate you not speeding it up, I can’t have a cat and I sure do miss it. I enjoy watching her live her life. Thanks for sharing all these with us. I think she’s adorable and extremely smart! 😊
Hmm I get indigestion sometimes. Maybe I can make a human version of “water food” with a super chunky soup and that would work better. Thanks for the tip, Billi! 💜
After reading about raised food dishes. I put my time programmed cat feeder on my exercise step. Both cats are 3 years old and enjoy eating with their food dish being raised up.
dear future vets here we have an cat's Anatomy lesson given by the world renowed Doctor Billi. Water food goes in tummy in 4 minutes. If process speed up causes tummy auch 🤮.
My cat has just been diagnosed with Kidney Disease and he’s not sure about the dry renal food, could you show how your mixing her food up (ratio of water to food etc). He had FLUTD but just 3 weeks ago was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease. We have him on wet and dry renal food but he’s not thrilled with it. He is eating some but we’re trying to make it nicer for him in any way to stop him losing more weight. Hugs.
My Lily is 16 and for the past three years I've been trying to insure her continued good health after losing her three sisters to kidney disease. She didn't care for the "healthier" kibble so she got her beloved (lol) Purina indoor formula back. I introduced canned food and pate was the big favorite--bet the brands have to be changed daily. The biggest thing though, is getting her a water fountain. NO problem at all with her H2O intake!
OMG I love that you gave us the viewing option. Her cute little licks were adorable, but I jumped to 4:05 when I had my fill of that particular cuteness and was ready for more conversation.
Billi is so adorable ....shes a pleasure to tune in everyday and beca part of her adventures .....thankyou for sharing billis life with me ❤🧡🤍🤎💜💜💙💚💚💙🤍❤🧡
Thank you Kendra! Lol. Although this made me miss the cats I used to have. Didn't realize how much I missed hearing them eat until this video. Now I just have a dog that chows down on dry food. 😂
i wish i didn't have misophonia, i want to be able to enjoy cat asmr like everyone else can -- thanks for putting the timestamp for the skip, it means i didn't have to miss any billi moments i didn't have to ❤
I bring my 15yr old diabetic cat with me whenever I visit my mom. For some reason she won't drink water from a bowl when she's there, so I add it to her canned food. We jokingly call it kitty soup and she loves it!😹🥣
Is 'tummy' something you've said to her after eating (ie happy tummy, full tummy etc) or has she made that association on her own? Because honestly I think it's pretty cool that Billi understands her digestive system.
Every lick that she does is cute. I have a 15 year old cat and I am testing new food for her since I concluded her food might be giving her inflammation. Good luck in your trying things out, I hope that you find something appropriate for her to eat regularly.
The odd looks 🙄 I get from my son when he comes in the room to see me watching a video of a cat eating... That's entertainment! Get me a fan toy and I'll be thoroughly amused!😁
I'm curious, given Billi's age, is there anything that has made you choose to not use elevated food and/or water bowls? Every time I go to buy a new bowl for our cats we get an onslaught of ads for them. What's your opinion on them if you don't mind sharing?
I don’t think they hurt, but honestly there isn’t really convincing evidence they need them unless they have a disorder that interferes with their ability to swallow!
My previous cat preferred an elevated bowl. I think it was initially because his paws seemed to hurt after eating, and this helped. No need to buy an elevated bowl though: just upturn another bowl or a Tupperware container and put the normal bowl on top. You can try various heights to see what your cat likes.
@@travelwell6049 There are always new people coming across Billi so many questions get asked repeatedly. There is likely someone among the ongoing viewers who is happy to answer. 🙂
First Time Cat Parent Question: since Billy is a single cat home, how does Billy handle being alone through the day? And how does Billy entertain herself? (I need ideas for keeping my 8 month kitten active and happy)
It’s fish oil mixed with treats and water. Fish oil is nasty and she refused to eat it even though she needs to for her health. Kendra tried freezing it, but that didn’t work. So she put it in the microwave and now she loves it.
Does Billie have a water fountain? I worry a lot less about hydration issues with my 16 yr old Lily grey kitty since I got her a water fountain. She absolutely loves it.
Wow! My cats go from maybe 30 secs to 2 - max max max 3 minutes of eating... Maybe because mine have free access to dry food all day? So it's more like snacking? 😳😕😀

Cat lick ASMR? Okay. I guess Billi now has yet another carreer option.
