We'd suggest joining the Facebook Owners Group and search the board spec, a lot of people have use things like spacers to alter how the systems mounts to improve take-off and rider feeling. Running foam in the tracks is also super important on these ones! If you're after more help feel free to email us at support@foildrive.com - Caitlyn
I have the same board and the same problem. Should I suspect that the rubber friction mat glued to the top surface of the board is interfering with the signal?
@@tormarquis The rubber mat shouldn't cause any issues. Carbon tracks may cause some issues, not sure what the dragonfly is made with to confirm. Feel free to email support@foildrive.com for some more specific guidance
It will remember. When ever you use the app, your simply reprogramming the electronics to a new setting. It will remember that setting untill you tell it anything different by reconnecting the app again
Love this update lads. I’m still thinking about jumping on board… I’m the unicorn🦄 . Armstrong board & a LEFT HANDER!! 😢 This video sure helps with my research. Are you going to consider a left handed controller down the track? Keep up the great work, I wish you all the best in being brave to take on manufacturing this product in difficult times. Cheers Muz
To summarize the points made in the video: - even a small amount of water blocks the signal - carbon fibre boards block more signal than glass fibre boards - to maximize connecitvity, hold the right side of the controller close to the board - using a board of right material allows using a smaller boards - for easiest experience use a larger glass fibre board
Buy a foil drive then it’s a lottery if your board will work with it , or have to wave the hand set to get a signal . Might explain why marketplace is full of foil drives ! .
I put my remote over vent plug and handle, works a treat on my carbon board with boost surf fin, maybe this helps
Excellent video..THANK YOU!
Good video FD team ... well done.
i found setting the latency to 500ms was the key to getting the double handed butterfly paddle with a glass prone board.
I have a KT dragonfly 8,2’. And have had a lots of problems once I stand up. Any recommendation??

Excellent video. Does it work with inflatable foilboards, for example Gong Cruzader Hipe? Thank you.
We've got a few people using inflatables with no dramas!
Have you tired an Armstrong 34 lt carbon board for controller connection. If so any luck.thanks.
Where is the antenna located in the gen2 box? Does it help to fill the tracks? If yes, what is the best material to fill the tracks? Regards Robert
Filling the tracks will help any board, use any type of closed cell foam.
If i only have one battery do I need to use the app every time to setup the power, boost, latency or will it remember from last time?

Luckily our controllers are ambidextrous! No bias over her for our left handed friends :D
Your Amry board will also be no dramas soon too!

Pretty sure they said left side i.e. better for right handers
Left side correct. Right handed benefit

Oh the little dude is killing me. Repeating the same thing over and over and over. 19 mins in, just show the techniques you’re promising.
