Go Kart Overtaking Tips

Driving fast isn't always the key to winning races, you need to be able to overtake if you're behind a slower kart.
So in this episode we look at some overtaking tips you can use next time you're on track to get around your opposition faster and hopefully further up the field.
It's important you're confident, know on which part of the track to try overtake and to also suss out any mistakes you might see when you're following other drivers.

Awesome video!
Tips that stood out to me were 4, 5, and the bonus tip. 4, understanding your setup and racing relative to it, if you can’t brake late try to find another way to overtake. 5, use your peripherals to increase your on track awareness of the kart you are overtaking and main focus should be on the gap ahead. Bonus, outside is suicide, 90% percent of outside overtakes are not successful.
