Might want to update your video, the Wolfpack Pro has changed the latches from metallic latches to plastic. Just received a second set and wasn’t informed of the changes….
Can you do a how to on building a diesel heater in a box? All the ones I’ve found are pretty hard to follow for someone with no experience building one before!
Can you add a gasket or weatherstripping to the original Wolfpack? I currently have Rubbermaid Action Packers and I added 1/8" weatherstripping to the groove on the underside of the lid. It's fully waterproof and dust proof (you can take a pressure washer to it at every angle and not a single drop of water enters)
Thanks for the detailed review. Quick question - Could you fit two of these side by side along with a iKamper x-cover 2 on a full length frontrunner roofrack on a 5th gen 4Runner? I was thinking of mounting the xcover all the way back and mounting these towards the front of the car so not sure if there is enough room for them to clear.
The WP pro is good but it has many drawbacks when bought with the WP Pro bracket if you want to mount it on a roofrack - many engineering flaws in this system. If you want to secure it, use Stratchits and eyebolts. They are effective and the cheapest option.
Be careful when going for the brackets to secure the WP Pro.... the engineers did not take into account how much space is wasted when you want to mount several wp pro boxes
Nice video and great explanation BUT at about 6 minutes in you say you would just go ahead and get the Pro as the price point is not bad compared to the original. As of today, Jan 27, 2023, the original is 30.00 and the Pro is 69.00 so the Pro is 2.3 times the price of the original. Those prices are directly from the Front Runner site. Ouch. You better REALLY like those new latches.

WARNING to anyone who is considering buying anything from Frontrunner. I recently bought the Slimline II roof rack from Frontrunner for my ikamper tent. Turns out that this roof rack is not compatible with the ikamper unless you buy additional parts from Frontrunner which cost hundreds of dollars. Trying to return their product has been a nightmare. Their website claims “30 days money back guarantee” but what they don’t tell is that product will be considered "used" if you take it out of the box and assemble it and you will be charged shipping both ways and a 20% restocking fee. My fault for not looking at the fine print of their return policy before I bought and just believing their "money back guarantee." Will never buy anything from this company again and advise anyone considering buying from them to carefully review their return policy prior to purchasing. Hoping to save someone else the trouble of dealing with them.
I just bought two of the Wolfpack Pros at your shop on Friday. What a great shop. Your employees were very professional and the show room was nice.
Thank you for the great feedback!
Will have to pick up a few of these pros! Currently have about 8-9 cub packs, smaller version of the original, work great in the house and the truck.
We like those too!

We could but there are a lot of parts that we 3D printed
@@Runnin4Tacos would still be down if you linked the parts! or perhaps you guys could build and sell them yourselves🤔
Definitely picking up a couple of them before my trip at the end of the month.
Gotta love having everything organized!
@@Runnin4Tacos oh yeah and also picked up the mounting brackets for them on the roof rack which works great doesn't move around at all .
THANK YOU!!! I am buying four
On the original Wolf Pack I just duct taped over the various holes; Is the Pro really stackable with other Pros as claimed?
Can 2 hi-lid options be stacked?

I doubt that will work. The lid is already a really tight fit.
Can the wolfpack pro handle the weight of a 190 person standing on it? thinking it might make a nice little step as well?
I would not recommend it.

Did you show the bottoms? I don't think so. But nicely done otherwise.
THANK YOU FOR ALL THIS INFORMATION, VERY HELPFUL. 👍👍👍👍

Has anyone mounted these to a Prinsu roof rack yet?
Great question.
What are the regulars dimensions?
They should be shown in the links in the description

But they are not waterproof so they are rubbish

The Pro's are now $80.. what the hell!
And the classic are $30. I can buy three classics for -almost- the price of one pro.
Makes you wonder…
The Wolfpack plastic latches break easily.
Agreed
Whoo first
