The 5.9 L Dodge V8 was better known as the 360 small block! Great running Lil engine, but it did come with its issues, such as oil consumption and notorious for lower intake leaks!
Yeah, that VQ 40 you’re lucky to keep it running burns up catalytic converters all the time plastic valve covers that cost a fortune to replace because you can’t just replace the gaskets in the O-rings for the spark plugs! As well as high price parts I went on one of those, even if you gave it to me!
The Cummings engines have their fair share of issues that make them not really so reliable, from leaky exhaust manifolds that make you lose boot pressure, to the weak valves and valve train! As well as the killer dowel pin!
Hey how about that GM 2.7 Turdbo 4 Banger !

#1. A newer 500k engine. Lol
Sorry but those 5.9 magnum engines were terrible gutless wonders. Dependability no.
cannot take this list serious after they listed the toyota 3.BLOW, wow talk about complete opposite land, go back and try again Classic American Auto
I thought the same thing. Fuel economy of 8 cylinder and power of 4 cylinder. I love toyota but that engine was garbage. And I've owned three!!!!
