As someone very new to pvp I'm trying out my magblade and have actually gotten good results without much actual experience. It's difficult of course but it's just so rewarding. And rage inducing for the guy on the other end lel
I remember saying how much I loved Corrosive armor and used it as a bow and 2h dk way back in 2016, 1vX'ing, but the game was way different and more fun back then.
I'm 50 and my wood elf bow arcanist is doing wonders for me, also enjoying my high elf magblade, getting a k/d ratio of 10/2 is more then enough for an old man hehe cheers! 🍻 I hope ZOS unearths necromancers one day, miss my 2 guys, good video, thx
Warden is my class, absolutely. And you're right, constant buffing it is a thing... I'm still trying to get better at pvp, and timing things it's quite hard - at least for me atm. I'm trying one of your builds to kind of get a hang of it and even though I'm a noob at pvp I can feel that at least I'm not easy to kill. I run my warden as a nord, maybe not the best class but the max stamina seemed like a good fit. Thanks for this super informative video :D
Might be a dumb question (coming back after 1.5 years), on the mag blade, what happened to ranged mag blade? Using swallow soul and staff? Do mag blades have to be played in melee range now?

what sets are you running? currently running 2h front/s&b back. 5 stuhns/5 alchemist(activated back bar), balorgh, and malacath. Been two years and just came back to the game so I replaced twilight with stuhns but still trying to see what is BiS
DK is both insanely good and easy to play. When I play stamplar, stamsorc or stamblade (I know magblade is the better variant) I have to be more cautious in my engagements, work harder for my kills and put way more effort into managing my resources. On DK I can throw caution into the wind and end up with better results.
Holy cow what? Blade is God damn noob class. Removing from every dangerous situation by pressing 1 button. Much more burst than everything else. Strong heal. Will of Assassin does more dmg than every ulti in the game. Compare dks passives to nbs passives. 70 percent of dk passives are absolute trash. Every NB passive has 1068037930 op effects
My poor necro- I used to be a main, but currently it's impossible to kill sb with 6,5k WD, 13k pen and engine guardian isnt reliable enough to compensate for my sacrificed sustain. Mag DK Glass Cannon is just more fun

Magicka Arcanist can stack shields and heal much better than the stamina. Adding long range crux generation, medium weaving, and learning that the teleport is not meant just to go forward but sideways or simply to yuke back and forth between them (also generating crux for the consume on a shield heal). Then the magicka pool starts making more sense for survivability. Plus light armor can fit on a long range penetration build. with the long range stun, group pull, it plays much different than the stamina.

Well I mean they are the brawler warrior class. They are also the tank class. Kinda good at wading in groups of enemies. And just because you play DK doesn't mean you'll becomes overpowered, your skill heavily affects your fights. As a basically DK main in PvE and PvP for 7 years they are stronger in pvp but not OP.

@@Nenothewitch Maybe, I haven't pvpd since 2016 and only play a little. My point was that no lifing a game, any game is a bad life decision. I've also found that through experience all those hours lost can easily be trumped by spending a 10th of that play time on game mechanics and drills like anything else in life. So if you wanted to sweat you can do it in less time and not sit so much since that alone is a death sentence on your health.

Yo Deltia's. Idk if you ever read or check these but I think a video on either pvp rankings or pvp builds for the No CP no proc set campaigns would be extremely interesting. I have a guild that tends to run there and the meta is very different than with proc and cp both in gameplay and sets.
I've used Wrecking blow, and the skill misses ALOT. That's why I still use D-Swing because it has a built in snare and stun. Very rarely do I see people using WB these days. Sure it will work in zergs, but against good players you will miss a lot.
Yea I agree, I'm in pretty high end mmr bgs Xbox and I do just fine. The only three must have abilities (and ult) are dawny, ruinous scythe, and blastbones, resistant flesh. The other two are flex spots, can do gap closer, expert hunter, Vigor, whirling blades/executioner, boneyard, etc. Oaken has always been good and not just for heavy builds, and you don't need two bars when the buffs you would get and the buffs delta listed that necrom has to put up are just there from oaken anyway.
Stamina is better for anything basically , this is just the way it is. So my Cyrodiil journey starts and stops whenever there are too many DKs and Wardens on the opposite side. Great balance from ZOS actually, I think there's been a DK meta for ages now.

Literly anything is good. I run a high elf wich isn't the best aat all but still doing the job. But if you want to min max then run something like an dark elf (that's probably the best) imperial, nord or orc. Run what ever you want

Surprised mag arcanist is so low. Been having a ton of fun with it, so tanky and sustain is great that you can just put pressure lime crazy. Class doesn't have a burst but I don't think it's an issue. Runes does plenty, mixed with tentacles to drain. I've been using the magic morph but gonna try the flail today. Beam is much better than people give it credit for, but I think most people use it wrong. It should be used as an execute, or after you eye ult, or after they're charmed. Very hard to out heal when you hit, and in those situations it's so easy to hit.
@@pinkplasticlag I haven't been using the portal, been sticking with runic jolt morph that steals armor/fear, inspiration (on front bar for extra pen), exhausting fate carver (shields halved in pvp, the snare helps it land consistently), tentaclular dread as a quick big damage to spend crux as well, and runes as the spammable. Haven't grinded yet for race against time but that's where my movement will come. Until then it's fine at medium range
@@pinkplasticlag Beam, tenticles, and Tide King do not register damage in any lag. Each one can be walked away from , with base movement speed. If your opponent has any movment speed, they wont take a single tick of damage. Your only hope is to stun lock, and even then the desync is so bad, you can be right in front of them stun locked, and it wont register any damage.

I have a really hard time with the builds that have absolute invincibility and do the same amount of damage or 4, 5, 6, 7 times more for free. Playing Magcro is extremely difficult as it is, but even running major defile now it does nothing. There are builds that have complete and total invincibility in many situations and there's nothing you can do to stop them.
No. These are WoW refugees you're playing against don't forget. They've crunched the numbers. You've barely got a 33.33333 (repeating of course) percent chance of survival.
Dks are biggest cheese class, over powered, its a noob class, its good for players just starting, as there is 0 skill to play just like nb bombers stealth is noob play too imo
bombers at least take a little thought and observation, DKs take zero thought just put some gear hold block and spam dots GG you just killed most everyone.
Haven't even watched the video but I know best class is gonna be DK and Dk mains will vehemently disagree and whine about warden or nightblade. Im a stamblade main and I was flabbergasted by how easy dk is to play. You literally just hold block, dot, ult, whip and repeat. Don't even need to worry about resources because you just sustain through block with passives and armor sets like essence thief. But on the off chance you do get to low hp just tap coag once and you're back up to 100% hp or you know, use corrosive-the most gamebreaking ultimate in the game TM. Or just use dragon leap and both heal, do big damage, and gain a giant damage shield along with mag and stam sustain all while gap closing. Need i mention the skill fossilize that is an unblockabable, undodgeable stun that also does damage AND immobilizes people? This loaded skill drains stam like no other and unless you're also a dk with infinite sustain then good luck. Zos has been wanting to make the game more accessible though, I guess thats why they made dk a class for even the thumbless.

Yeah they should honestly just put a timer on mist form and revert it to what it was . Id say 10 sec with about 500mag drain per second should suffice , 5 second cooldown when used longer than 5 seconds . Gives enemies a burst window to kill the floating mist players who trolled other and got it changed to what it is now .
Man I wish the necro would just get a whole revamp and rework, like it's just so weird, no good stun, no way to buff wpm and spell dmg, has all these unnecessary abilities to build mitigation that just take up a tom of bar space,
Deltia try my build of resto staff, oakensoul, stamina necro. i use morag tong and swamp raider, whatever one piece monster i use magma incarnate. i use rally, healy ghost, and the fast resto hot. only two active skills are blast bones and venom skull. big disease smash ultimate. its not optimal i know but it slaps hard in bg and cyro i promise. no stun i know unfortunate af perhaps meteor ult

@@jobayerhossain9542 Better healing is very questionable. Necro can spam HoTs just as well as warden can. Necro ghost + regen + mist form heal over time + burst heal + restoring tether/shocking siphon. The stun on warden is garbage now after the change to 2 second delay because you can miss your burst window a lot unless you literally keep counting every time in a fight, which is difficult if you jump in big fights(because you're not given the leisure to turn a fight around that easily in a zerg fight). The only argument I'd agree is having a better damage combo because blastbones is wonky af.

I'm a big fan of mag necro. Its very rewarding when you have everything thrown into full gear. That being said alot of classes are completely brain dead and have a very high skill floor so I can understand why you put necro as the worst ovp class
You can tell what class he plays, what class he is payed to promote, and what class he does not play. Stamsorc is right behind DK. Arcanist is not even functional in any lag, so Cyrodill is out of the question.
@@vaderd4353 Bowsorc is strongest Sorc setup. Sorc is a hit and run class, obviously if you are dueling you can't run so bow has limitations, but it still the strongest setup. You are ust more vulnerable than in standard Master DW / Vateshran setup. 99% duels are going to be Dragons Appetite, Masters DW / Vatershran, Maarslok, 1piece trainee, and Markyn ring or Sea Serpent coil. Ballista wins duels by itself, you animation cancel balista into streak, with heavy charge during into whirl wind and its gg. Before Crystal Fragments and Bound Armorments nerf, BowSorc was more common i duels.
Bow NBs are free kills to anyone not in PvE gear, its a do nothing build in BGs at high MMR they get deleted instantly by smart players. DK is dominate, arcanist is good in BGs but the cyro lag they are trash
@@xomox5316 I have DK with plague break + daedric trick, bloodspawn and markyr or coil, all legendary with proper traits and enchants, 300 skill points and tried every build ive seen and it is the worst pvp class ive ever seen. 1k damage with a full stack molten whip + corrosive armor, and any bow cat an kill me in 1 sec despite i have 31k hp 30k armor and corrosive armor active.
@@xomox5316 then i tried my sorc, with f2p gear, no legendarys, no mithics, and a trash monster set and it kills wayyy more than my Dk and even tanks more. My templar healer is also very tanky but it dies super fast against bow players, so I cant beleave in any of these "tier list" where Dk is top.
@@xomox5316 Ive also seen games with 2.2M damage output with my Dk and only 1 or 2 kills, while sorc do much more with almost no gear, and its a mag sorc xd, wich is supose to be at the bottom of the tier lists.

i play on PC NA/EU. I don't see a single necro except me on BG

Literly anything is good. I run a high elf wich isn't the best aat all but still doing the job. But if you want to min max then run something like an dark elf (that's probably the best) imperial, nord or orc. Run what ever you want

Surprised mag arcanist is so low. Been having a ton of fun with it, so tanky and sustain is great that you can just put pressure lime crazy.
Class doesn't have a burst but I don't think it's an issue. Runes does plenty, mixed with tentacles to drain. I've been using the magic morph but gonna try the flail today.
Beam is much better than people give it credit for, but I think most people use it wrong. It should be used as an execute, or after you eye ult, or after they're charmed. Very hard to out heal when you hit, and in those situations it's so easy to hit.
@@pinkplasticlag I haven't been using the portal, been sticking with runic jolt morph that steals armor/fear, inspiration (on front bar for extra pen), exhausting fate carver (shields halved in pvp, the snare helps it land consistently), tentaclular dread as a quick big damage to spend crux as well, and runes as the spammable.
Haven't grinded yet for race against time but that's where my movement will come. Until then it's fine at medium range

@@pinkplasticlag Beam, tenticles, and Tide King do not register damage in any lag. Each one can be walked away from , with base movement speed. If your opponent has any movment speed, they wont take a single tick of damage. Your only hope is to stun lock, and even then the desync is so bad, you can be right in front of them stun locked, and it wont register any damage.
@@SunBro_Talos Console players still have not reached that point. They will be there in a week or two. Casuals will take a bit to realize, Arcanist is hot trash in anything but support for a group in pvp.
Harb here and I think your pretty accurate if not right on the money but most of it is gonna come down to skill with most of the top tier builds

I have a really hard time with the builds that have absolute invincibility and do the same amount of damage or 4, 5, 6, 7 times more for free. Playing Magcro is extremely difficult as it is, but even running major defile now it does nothing. There are builds that have complete and total invincibility in many situations and there's nothing you can do to stop them.

No. These are WoW refugees you're playing against don't forget. They've crunched the numbers. You've barely got a 33.33333 (repeating of course) percent chance of survival.
Dks are biggest cheese class, over powered, its a noob class, its good for players just starting, as there is 0 skill to play just like nb bombers stealth is noob play too imo
bombers at least take a little thought and observation, DKs take zero thought just put some gear hold block and spam dots GG you just killed most everyone.
Is it worth to play stamdk pv with stage 3 vampire? And currently should i use Daedra trickery set or keep using Maara's balm set?
Haven't even watched the video but I know best class is gonna be DK and Dk mains will vehemently disagree and whine about warden or nightblade.
Im a stamblade main and I was flabbergasted by how easy dk is to play. You literally just hold block, dot, ult, whip and repeat. Don't even need to worry about resources because you just sustain through block with passives and armor sets like essence thief. But on the off chance you do get to low hp just tap coag once and you're back up to 100% hp or you know, use corrosive-the most gamebreaking ultimate in the game TM. Or just use dragon leap and both heal, do big damage, and gain a giant damage shield along with mag and stam sustain all while gap closing. Need i mention the skill fossilize that is an unblockabable, undodgeable stun that also does damage AND immobilizes people? This loaded skill drains stam like no other and unless you're also a dk with infinite sustain then good luck. Zos has been wanting to make the game more accessible though, I guess thats why they made dk a class for even the thumbless.

Hi. Nice video. To bad my little sorc is on the bottom. Like you said, streak isn't that special anymore. I think they should remove it from the Vampire skills or put a CD on it so they only can use it once. Streak was the sorc's thing. Now it's just a skill amongst other. Sad... so sad. Yeah they should honestly just put a timer on mist form and revert it to what it was . Id say 10 sec with about 500mag drain per second should suffice , 5 second cooldown when used longer than 5 seconds . Gives enemies a burst window to kill the floating mist players who trolled other and got it changed to what it is now .

Man I wish the necro would just get a whole revamp and rework, like it's just so weird, no good stun, no way to buff wpm and spell dmg, has all these unnecessary abilities to build mitigation that just take up a tom of bar space,
Deltia try my build of resto staff, oakensoul, stamina necro. i use morag tong and swamp raider, whatever one piece monster i use magma incarnate. i use rally, healy ghost, and the fast resto hot. only two active skills are blast bones and venom skull. big disease smash ultimate. its not optimal i know but it slaps hard in bg and cyro i promise. no stun i know unfortunate af perhaps meteor ult

@@jobayerhossain9542 Better healing is very questionable. Necro can spam HoTs just as well as warden can. Necro ghost + regen + mist form heal over time + burst heal + restoring tether/shocking siphon.
The stun on warden is garbage now after the change to 2 second delay because you can miss your burst window a lot unless you literally keep counting every time in a fight, which is difficult if you jump in big fights(because you're not given the leisure to turn a fight around that easily in a zerg fight).
The only argument I'd agree is having a better damage combo because blastbones is wonky af.
@@xyourdeus4972 where you are going to put your buff skill+ damage skill? after you put that many healing skills. necro stun is super bad compare to warden stun. necro doesn't have any movement speed skill.

I'm a big fan of mag necro. Its very rewarding when you have everything thrown into full gear.
That being said alot of classes are completely brain dead and have a very high skill floor so I can understand why you put necro as the worst ovp class

I've been melting people with bowsorc, but it does feel pretty squishy. Gotta play keep-away with all these DKs and Wardens 😒
You can tell what class he plays, what class he is payed to promote, and what class he does not play. Stamsorc is right behind DK. Arcanist is not even functional in any lag, so Cyrodill is out of the question.
Bowsorc sucks as anything other than a troll class. Try duel good players with that and see what happens.
@@vaderd4353 Bowsorc is strongest Sorc setup. Sorc is a hit and run class, obviously if you are dueling you can't run so bow has limitations, but it still the strongest setup. You are ust more vulnerable than in standard Master DW / Vateshran setup. 99% duels are going to be Dragons Appetite, Masters DW / Vatershran, Maarslok, 1piece trainee, and Markyn ring or Sea Serpent coil. Ballista wins duels by itself, you animation cancel balista into streak, with heavy charge during into whirl wind and its gg. Before Crystal Fragments and Bound Armorments nerf, BowSorc was more common i duels.

Bow NBs are free kills to anyone not in PvE gear, its a do nothing build in BGs at high MMR they get deleted instantly by smart players. DK is dominate, arcanist is good in BGs but the cyro lag they are trash
@@xomox5316 I have DK with plague break + daedric trick, bloodspawn and markyr or coil, all legendary with proper traits and enchants, 300 skill points and tried every build ive seen and it is the worst pvp class ive ever seen. 1k damage with a full stack molten whip + corrosive armor, and any bow cat an kill me in 1 sec despite i have 31k hp 30k armor and corrosive armor active.
@@xomox5316 then i tried my sorc, with f2p gear, no legendarys, no mithics, and a trash monster set and it kills wayyy more than my Dk and even tanks more. My templar healer is also very tanky but it dies super fast against bow players, so I cant beleave in any of these "tier list" where Dk is top.
@@xomox5316 Ive also seen games with 2.2M damage output with my Dk and only 1 or 2 kills, while sorc do much more with almost no gear, and its a mag sorc xd, wich is supose to be at the bottom of the tier lists.
