My parents had a car like this and the fact that the headlight doors are down tells me that the car has been started recently. At least the day before if not more recently cuz as they get old, the vacuum system that opens and closes the doors will leak and the doors sometimes will start opening within a couple of hours of turning the car off
A carburetor video would be great! Not many mechanics want to adjust my 79 Town Coupe's carburetor.

I drove it to work every day. It had been started the day before.
