Messi, a Barca traitor or Legend? Messi came to Barca as a 13 y.o. boy. With Xavi and Iniesta, they won everything from 2005-2011. Barca is a registered association and every supporters love Messi. Barca had the list of club history super stars (eg Maradona, Hagi, Ronaldo and Rivaldo etc) , yet they also want to have their own legendary product, the home grown legend, and Messi was the one. Thus Barca maintain the squads based on Messi's playing style. After both Xavi and Iniesta left Barca, Barca got lots of big money signings. However unable to find new replacement of the Age of Golden Midfielders (Xavi and Iniesta), Barca no longer the same level as it was be. As a homemade legend at Barca, Messi has every power above the club. Neymar knows it at Barca, even they both are good friends he still could only play around Messi, thus Neymar left for PSG. Barca had great debt long ago, in 2012-13 season Messi's fixed wage rose to €13 million after tax, with 10 million of incentives. Barca' La Masia was once good at developing home grown players. However as the club builds around Messi, Barca trends to buy star players to suit Messi's playing style. Messi has all the speaking power at Barca, is nothing a secret (He had conflicts with several Barca coaches). Once teammate of Messi, Eric Abidal at the time as Barca's director of football, publicly stated that some players not working hard enough. Messi then opened fires on him, asking Abidal to speak out who's the players. 2014 World Cup was a disappointment for Messi's Argentina team, losing the final. The following final defeat at Copa America upset Messi alot, announced to quit the national team for the first time (Messi forced the national coach Martino to step down as well. Martino was fired after a bad season at Barca in 2014 whom then went on coaching the Argentine team.) Then during the pandemic after the shock 8-2 defeat to Bayern (15th August), Messi once again want to quit the team, this time with his beloved team, Barca. Eric Abidal also resigned following the Champion League defeat. Well, from this moment most Barca supporters still believe Barca has poor management that makes Messi want to leave, but this is not the truth! Real Zaragoza fail to promote to La Liga due to their top striker loan ended, harming their playoff match performance. And this happen at 5th August. Real Zaragoza even tried to sue the Spanish FA. Messi then on 25th August made publicly he was betrayed by the president, lies about he could go a year prior to his contract ends. Barca then claims that the agreement already expired at June. Well, well, well. By noticing the Real Zaragoza case, Messi clearly misleading the public by saying he WAS BETRAYED. Messi was just trying to make up the reason for leaving Barca. And clearly he was upset by the Bayern defeat. Why? As matter of the fact, he could leave for free at June which he didn't, because he knows he got no reason to grab for jumping ship so suddenly. Messi knows he would be accused as traitor, and all his contributions at Barca would become no acknowledgment. Messi had history of tax evasion, had his Dad working as his agent. When being accused for tax evasion, his dad stated Messi learns nothing as he's always the one who's handling Messi's financial matters. Messi's Dad is not a fool, does anyone believe Jorge Messi can't figure out when's the contract end? If Messi is loyal to Barca, Jorge Messi could renew contract for Messi during the entire year, not after Messi become a free player nor after the La Liga salary cap reformed. Messi had too much power at Barca. Laporta once says, KEEPING MESSI COULD HAVE MADE BARCA AT RISK FOR THE NEXT 50 YEARS. The club president Bartomeu and Eric Abidal resigned, Aguero signed.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh Yes people that don't even think about how sad Ronaldo is because he hasn't won a world cup.
So sad
2:50 Messi 🥺❤️
As a Argentina we love to see the goat happy ❤🎉 campion del Mundo
We have to Give thanks to Messi's Grandma.Without her we wouldnt be seeing the magic that this man is producing
This makes me so emotional! All the tragic endings from the 2006 to 2018 World Cup were displayed, but Argentina finally won the World Cup after 36 years!
Messi has the highest levels of perseverance and resilience. It's not only about the physical training but also the mental strength.
Imagine losing 3 international finals in a row and quitting your national team, getting mocked and criticized by your own people and then coming back, winning Finalissima and Copa America and then ultimately winning the most prestigious trophy THE WORLD CUP by giving an all star performance in every Knock out stage of the Tournament and winning the Golden Ball.
Nah man, This is probably the Greatest Redemption Arc in Sports History
Absolutely, well said
We have withnessed something unique in sports history!!
The greatest redemption arc in any sport? The Internationals 8 Dota2. ua-cam.com/video/bdgTa9ni4S8/v-deo.html
But yes I think most football fans was praying for Messi, it was an amazing feat for a guy that really deserved it.
Lionel Messi is THE REAL GOAT, but Cristiano Ronaldo is THE TRUE KING OF G.O.A.T, Kylian Mbappe will be THE NEXT KING OF G.O.A.T 😎👏🙌👑🐏🐏🐏
@@Vercingetorix121 if , would have ,could have ,should have doesn't matter. What matters is Argentina won the world cup. Period
Ending was great ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful carrier from genius person,we never thought this was possible for Messi 😭
I've been waiting for this moment for 12 years, finally a dream come true Leo 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🏆🏆
I cried again😢. He is genuinely a goat, the greatest of all time! I see in every Argentine player the great qualities of solidarity and not giving up, which is the biggest reason that has led them to the legend!
this video gave me goosebumps man...such a great player
Indeed the G.O.A.T of all time
This made me emotional and I started crying again.. love for Messi only increases 🇧🇩❤️🔥

I was one of the lucky 89k who were in the stadium that night, we witnessed the most beautiful final in the history of World Cup. I was a neutral at the stadium, i sympathized with Dembeld and Mbappe. I would like to thank both teams for the unforgettable evening
Where are you from?
Then you weren't that neutral if you liked those.
@@n-zedorai6613 I am Palestinian
@@Diegus- well, i supported neither, and probably not France. I wanted that the African/black players win, not France in particular, it just happened they played for France. I was sad for all the bashing and racism they received in France after the game

LOL love the ending. I really like how Maradona and Pele weren’t really debated as they are now. 😂 Messi will just keep proving the haters wrong. 🔥🔥🔥
Lol that was a nice touch
It was really a touching moment when Messi finally lifted up the trophy! Congratulations to the GOAT king!
How can you forget Dibu's last minute save. It should be in the history of the most important saves.
💙🤍💙🏆🏆🏆⭐️⭐️⭐️
Consider Martinez literally the legend that made them win
You really made me cry. Indeed. I’m 30 and I ve grown with Leo. It’s so emotional for us. A dream come true. Greetings from Buenos Aires
Awwww tas a fan of Messi since a I was a baby I feel so proud and happy for him, supported him in every game
He totally deserved it 💪❤️
I'm so happy he won this World Cup. Messi is someone I can say that truly never gave up.
Vejo muita gente falando do Messi do Martinez e do di Maria
Mas pouco se fala do grande responsável
Scaloni
Qualquer outro treinador não teria ganho
O cara foi gênio
Apagou a maior vergonha do país na mesma copa
Fazendo mudanças táticas a cada jogo
Messi winning the World Cup is the most beautiful justice in sports history. So beautiful
The most majestic real life movie that we all adore
This is brilliant. So happy it played out the way it did just like a movie.

Excellent recap and of course, congrats to Messi and Argentina for securing the cup! That was a close one though 😰. Messi was legendary as usual but I think Di Maria, Alvarez, De Paul and Mac Allister deserve some special recognition as well. They even got Dybala in on the action for once 😲!
Nice touch on the podium scene as well with Emi doing the crotch thing with the Golden Glove 😁!
Otamendi, Enzo Fernández, dibu martínez, etc etc etc
This video actually made me cry
I am a big fan for Messi ☺
This legendary match will stay engraved in this generation's memory!
I'm from Brazil and all Brazilians were rooting for Argentina to win and he won and the part that made me cry was Maradona and Pelé ;( 3:39
