Naptown and White River Layout Tour 4k

I heard about the open run session that the Naptown and White River Model Railroad Club in Indianapolis, IN was holding and decided to make the 3 hour drive over and take a look. I had heard from some friends who are members about the level of detail the layout had, and it did not disappoint.
The layout is HO scale, and is about 40 x 60ft. It is a folded dogbone twice-around main line that allows trains to be followed almost the whole way around the room.
It is DCC controlled with Digitrax equipment. an LNWI module is connected so visitors can use their smartphone running the EngineDriver app to operate their trains.
Lots of industries make their home on the layout, that can keep several people busy during an operating session. The club has been around for over 40 years. It owns the building so the club has long term plans to continue making the layout available for members.

Nice video. I have visited the club a few times. Its a very nice layout. If I modeled HO I would probably visit more.
