Detailing companies will step up there game because of guys like Brian. He exposes bullshit products to the masses so they have no choice but to make good stuff. Thanks for being our detailing ambassador.
Exactly. If you read the description of the graphene spray on Adam's website, you'd think it's a much different product than their ceramic spray coating. They mention higher contact angles for less water spotting (funny that they're openly admitting ceramics have water spotting issues), but as Brian states here, there didn't seem to be much difference in hydrophobics
I have probably watched twenty of your videos, and I learn something new from each one. Thanks for being the consummate professional and taking the time to do this for all of us! I don’t know how you find the time along with managing a business...
They've done great incorporating UV search availability so you can check where it is missing or higher application but they need to be more resistant and better gloss for the price they ask. Still is better to use Ethos Graphene or their Ceramic, or Griots 3 in 1 or Turtle Wax Hybrid line not only in protection but also in price. For example, Ethos Graphene for $99 and 5 years protection is 20 a year the cost and maintenance with Defy is easy and cost effective. Another example, Turtle Wax Hybrid jumped 13 points in gloss units and kept it until the end losing about 4 points only. This one from Adam's jumped only 7 points in gloss units and at the end lost 4 almost 5. Adam's has other good products but these two require a revisit to surpass others also in durability. As far as I know, this is something Turtle Wax and Griots has been doing with waxes and they still don't have Graphene. Thanks again for your review and funny comment about the hotel. 😄👌 Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
I have used the Graphene ceramic coating from Adams. I have not used the spray just the regular true coating.I like the way it goes on. I used it on everything ✊
Can you do some sorta water spot test next time? like leave it in the hot sun and let it bake then come back a couple days and see if it's easily removable?
Brian, I don't know whether or not you monitor older threads, but I wanted to add this: My daily Driver, a Black Metallic 2015 VW GTI suffered damage by a distracted driver and required the repaint of the entire passenger side. I took this opportunity to perform a full paint correction and decontamination after it was returned. I decided to use Adam's UV Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating. As you show, it is stupid easy to use. It looks great. One added benefit that I have heard no one mention: graphene is a wonderful electrical conductor as opposed to Si02, an insulator. We had the Perfect Storm conditions for dust yesterday: 20 MPH winds and
Informative video. I was not able to notice a distinct difference until the use of the gloss meter. I find the spray coatings a pro for time, quality, and cost. The average customer see a real difference in a before and after, which is helpful in their return for service. Thanks
Love the detail in this review as always and very interesting comparison However I was curious to their new 7 year coating. But bravo on the demonstration as to the uv tracer!
Amazing content ! Always debunking advertising claims and helping start-up detailers make informed decisions as to which products they should have in their Arsenal ! Thank you so much Brian !
Don Mckinney I used turtle wax hybrid spray ceramic coating on my car 3 months ago. It sits in the Florida sun all day and water still beads up and dirt washes right off.
Bro great content! i would love to see you put these producuts against other SIO2 coatings like carpro, gyeon, etc for the beat down durability tests. Thanks again
I've used the new Graphene Advanced Ceramic Spray Coating. It went on easily even down here in Florida so that's a definite plus. The rainbow effect is also a no brainer indicator of when to buff it off. I do find the BC-2 & BC-3 easier to use though in this heat, just not quite as much longevity as the Advanced.
Love the videos as always. Also for those looking for more test there is a guy out of Tyler Texas that has done a 42 way coating challenge. Perfection Correction - Scott. Really fun to watch. You should give it a look.
Been living the graphene detail spray Adam’s has over the 303 graphene coating. The problem with these products is also their benefit they bead water strongly which is fine but you end up with water spots. But look great when clean and dry like all products mostly do lol
You should test Polytop Apex seal. Since your shop got the name :) its a german brand, Polytop if you never heard about it :) heard it is a good easy to use sealer with 6-12 months durability going for it... nice upload as usual btw, greatings from Norway.
nice, thx but in the Adams kit there is a booster with it to use after washing and it would be nice to see if those boosters work..! cos as we know it is a hard work and time consuming just to prepare under a quality coating. Thanks.
Personally, I don’t think most people will want to remove their coating off their own vehicles but I kinda of think torture testing loses that point when something comes off. It’s like coatings and sealants are purposely designed not to be incredibly long lasting are meant to be removable and not meant to be a permanent application. It’s probably part of a marketing scheme to want the consumer to be aware over time of ownership to spend more time and money re-applying product to the vehicle. Business financial thrive off such continued maintenance applications. It’s a good thing you know to see a customer have to continue having to service maintenance their vehicles.
Some constructive advice. Talk over the parts of the video that are silent for entirely too long. Project farm is a good example of filling testing time with voice over. It makes the videos easier to watch. I will subscribe though thanks for the vid
Brian as always a great informative and helpful! I like the UV light check. But I believe as a detailer. Both Cermic coatings are not as Good as Turtle hybrid ceramic coating? I've seen Turtle hybrid seems to collect dust. Though using Ethos Defy as a topper. It counters the dust. I was going to try Adams cermic Graphene. Now you have saved me from changing what works for myself and my customers. I really appreciate your great knowledge and advice!
Agreed. Dollar-for-dollar TW S&S is still the all around best value...shine, chemical resistance, and longevity. The point of diminishing returns definitely sets in, as well, with other products.
James T Do you think the New Seal n Shine will be better than the TW Hybrid Line? I just started using the TW Hybrid on our multiple family vehicles. So far I’ve been pretty impressed. I just put a 2nd coat on my Wife’s Murano which has the Hybrid P&S followed by now 2 coats of Spray Ceramic. And I put just the TW Hybrid Spray Ceramic on my Mother in Laws white 2008 Malibu. Message me when you try Seal n Shine. I can’t keep buying new stuff. I’m just a hobbyist doing it to keep our own vehicles looking good. Thanks
What happened to the traffic film test? Though way more that what would truly be encountered on the road and so on.. but it was a consistent test to compare.
hmm so how does the graphen actively bind? The carrier substrate can be modified for this difference. Graphene is also very conductive. I am currently doing a little R&D myself with graphene oxide. Specifically charging and pressure treatment. Slick 50 had Teflon. Just a suspended solid in a oil carrier and not able to bond to metal as claimed. Teflon has particular methodology to bond to metals.
It will take a quite awhile until pure graphene will be cheap enough to use for stuff like this. At over $200 per gram, it just isn't feasible. But it shouldn't concern anyone other than chemists, because if you take 2 ceramic coatings and put pure graphene in 1 and graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide in the other.....you will not be able to tell the difference between the 2.
Hotel room!😂😂😂😂 I’m glad 3D one and a microfiber pad removed the coating because that’s what I use followed by AngelWax perfect polish on a rupes yellow pad. I can tell the coating is gone when the gyeon prep doesn’t beed up and is just flat on the surface.
Hello nice post. Is it possible for you to put any of this sealants again the latest sealant ??? That is the......Zymol Atomic Graphene Shield Paint Sealant. I think many want to see that before buying this new sealant. Thanks.
The more I hear about the graphene stuff the more doubt I gave . I dont think companies have the adhesives formula down yet to get any significant results over ceramic coatings. Think I'll sit out of graphene for awhile.
Brian, Thanks for the great video. I have a question. Is it a bad idea to clay bar a cermaic coated surface every half year or 3 months? I noticed some hard particles on my car's front hood (car is cermaic coated) and would like to remove them by clay bar. Please let me know if this is a bad idea. Thank you Brian.
not only are you a master detailer it seems ur a comedian.lol.great video and product review good friend. seem ok (no pun intended)my last name.still think gyeon coating looks and performs better.🍻🍻🍻🍻
Love all your videos, Brian. Where can I get the hose nozzle you use? Also, do you do any training days at your shop for enthusiasts that aren’t looking to go into business, just want to get better results in their own garage?
Beware of Dallas Paint Correction as Scott lacks professionalism as a business owner. Read the comments in this forum. Great comparison, overly detailed for the cost of these products, they are only spray on wipe off coatings, Kinda get what you pay for. This said it is great to test in extremes. T from my understanding the spray coatings are more of a maintenance product to actual coating. Which would probably yield different results. I’ll was going to being using this graphene spray coating as a maintenance to Adams actual Graphene Ceramic Coating, which applied nicely and really bumped up my shine on a brand new 2022 Tundra.
Is it me or the water shedding is actually better on the bare panel? the beading to me is not as important. Just want the water to get off the panel at the end no? like if it beads and dries in the sun...hello water spots...
Do you think the Adams Spray graphene coating would make a good maintenance topcoat for a traditional graphene coating? The company I got my graphene coating from said I could use any ceramic coating maintenance products as a topper such as Reload, but that doesn't sound right to me.
So is this not really a good coating? I really thought this stuff was supposed to be more durable, but in other test it seems the retail store Turtle wax seal n' shine holds up better then this stuff.
I wish you would have used the UV light at the end. Also I don't get the chemical tests. I know you're not the only one doing it, but I just don't understand what that is meant to show. Meanwhile washing it a 100 times or more, in a real way that you'd really wash your car, now that would probably be very useful to know.
Brian been watching your video's for a long time. Hope you can answer a couple of questions on the new Turtle was polish and wax. After using the TW Ceramic Polish and Wax do you need to wipe down with an IP solution before using the TW SIo2 Spray Coating? Also, I just got my GMC pickup out of the body shop where they painted the entire drivers side from front to back do I need to wait any time for paint to cure before polishing?

Seal n still the best
I really wish you still used the apex review system board....!!!! You use it from time to time but it’s crucial to help make my purchase

Just want to give a big thanks for the consistent content! Always amazing quality and thorough!
Nice video Brian and somewhat perfect timing. I just placed an order yesterday for Adam’s 7-year graphene coating at the request of my client.
I really appreciate your objective reviews. My takeaway: great gloss, average chemical resistance, easy to use, time will tell on actual longevity.
And where people park it. Inside outside, under a cover or no cover, I park in my garage so longevity should be longer
I have used the Graphene ceramic coating from Adams. I have not used the spray just the regular true coating.I like the way it goes on. I used it on everything ✊

“It looks like a hotel room” ~ Brian 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I busted out laughing!!
Too much CSI !
Love it!
Laughed way too hard waking up neighbors 🤣
Love the detail in this review as always and very interesting comparison
However I was curious to their new 7 year coating. But bravo on the demonstration as to the uv tracer!
The hotel room comment was priceless!
Amazing content ! Always debunking advertising claims and helping start-up detailers make informed decisions as to which products they should have in their Arsenal ! Thank you so much Brian !
Excellent review... Can't wait to see your review on the actual Graphene Coating from Adams.
I’ve switched to all details getting the spray coating it saves me so much time been doing it for months they should call it money coat
How long does the spray last?
Don Mckinney I used turtle wax hybrid spray ceramic coating on my car 3 months ago. It sits in the Florida sun all day and water still beads up and dirt washes right off.
what kind do you use
Bro great content! i would love to see you put these producuts against other SIO2 coatings like carpro, gyeon, etc for the beat down durability tests. Thanks again
Graphene coating seems to be a hot product these days. Thank you for introducing a good product.
Great review between graphene and sio2. I was hoping for more endurance from the graphene. As always what a great review full of knowledge.
How does the Adams Graphene compare to Artdeshine Graphene and Ethos Matrix Graphene? 🤔
Can you please do a durability test between these 3 🙏
He is now partnered with artedeshine for his own product line. I doubt you would get a truly objective test.

Great video. Thanks Brian. You are the best !!
Both seem great for productivity

It would be handy to see / use UV after application to see / monitor the coatings duration as a guide to when re-application is needed.
Great idea using the 3D-One and what looked like a Uro fiber. Gave me an idea of removal ease of this type of coating!
Should have tried the UV light at the end for the heck of it.
Hahahahaaa... your humor sneaks up and catches me off guard at times. I spit out my tea after the hotel room remark.😂
Can you recommend the best dust & dirt repellent spray coating? This is a much bigger issue for me than water beading, living on a dirt road
Yes
You should test Polytop Apex seal. Since your shop got the name :) its a german brand, Polytop if you never heard about it :) heard it is a good easy to use sealer with 6-12 months durability going for it... nice upload as usual btw, greatings from Norway.
It was hard for me to see a difference between the two products. Doing the polish test shows how thin those coatings really are.
They are good. But I would pick traditional any day of the week
AWESOME video Brian. I used the GRAPHENE spray for a topper.😎👍👍
So the winner is seal and shine. Got it!
nice, thx but in the Adams kit there is a booster with it to use after washing and it would be nice to see if those boosters work..!
cos as we know it is a hard work and time consuming just to prepare under a quality coating. Thanks.
Hi Brian, Absolutely great content and videos! Thank you
Could you use both of these as a topper to Opticoat ceramic pro?
Thank you

the graphene spray should sit for 2 minutes before removing. idk if you just edeited that part out or whatnot.
Hi Brian, thanks for the great videos.
Put Turtle wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating up against both of these.. just for sh#s 😎🤘🏼
Great video. Can you put a ceramic/graphene coating on a 3m hood clear bra? And special issues to watch for?
Another home run maestro! I just heard about Iron removal from paint. Can you recommend a product? Also, what gloss meter are you using? Thanks!
Gyeon iron
Great review my friend👍
Thanks Brian I was looking for someone testing these products
Long term test - wash it but leave the droplets out in the sun. I want to see the claim that graphene coating is more water spot resistant
I will stick with Turtle wax seal n’ shine
Agreed. Dollar-for-dollar TW S&S is still the all around best value...shine, chemical resistance, and longevity. The point of diminishing returns definitely sets in, as well, with other products.
New formula tho! Old formula is STREAKY as hell
I've been hooked on the TW Hybrid Ceramic. Can't wait to try S&S as I've seen nothing but good reviews online.

Yes!!!! Finally!
Have you tried the glassparency coating yet?
I always apply the spray coating in the sun helps me build thicker coat can you test this
Brian, Let me know which hotel chains you stay at...I’ll go somewhere else lol. Great job on the video. Keep it up.

Hey Brian how would you rate the adams graphene coating against art de shine graphene coating?
I was rolling at the dead pan hotel room comment 🤣🤣
Guys this is a watered down version of graphene. Their full graphene coating is WAY better but a lot more expensive.

Good review Brian...
1st from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
But the questions is, where does it land on the apex review board!
Nice thanks Brian

I recently used turtle wax Ice and Seal for under 10 bucks and appears the same results as vid. Also same application.
Love all your videos, Brian. Where can I get the hose nozzle you use? Also, do you do any training days at your shop for enthusiasts that aren’t looking to go into business, just want to get better results in their own garage?
I will resume training as soon as Covid is under control.
Think they can be used as a topper for something like ethos graphene coating?
Great review! Will you be reviewing the new DPC T series coatings?
Beware of Dallas Paint Correction as Scott lacks professionalism as a business owner. Read the comments in this forum. Definitely Richer and Darker
Does the light help the graphene cure faster, if so, can you please provide a link?
Look on amazon. The Adams branded one is going to cost a hell of a lot more… And no the UV light will not make it cure any faster
Is it me or the water shedding is actually better on the bare panel? the beading to me is not as important. Just want the water to get off the panel at the end no? like if it beads and dries in the sun...hello water spots...

Great video
How’s the old corvette coming?
Nicely! Fun toy!
was my eyes playn tricks on me or when u applied grafine looked like u were pushing a oily substance?
Can you do a comparison between the Adam's Graphene 7 year vs Ethos' 5 year graphene coating?
Hard to tell any difference on camera. Would these work on top of a good ceramic coating?
Hey Brian have you tried the 303 graphene spray coating yet?
9:57 Seems like the areas that had the tape applied were the most hydrophobic...odd
So is this not really a good coating?
I really thought this stuff was supposed to be more durable, but in other test it seems the retail store Turtle wax seal n' shine holds up better then this stuff.
Waiting on mine !!!
Hello. At what temperature can Adam's Graphene Spray coating be applied?
I wish you would have used the UV light at the end.
Also I don't get the chemical tests. I know you're not the only one doing it, but I just don't understand what that is meant to show. The car wash part is great, that's what people would be doing, maybe using some spot bug spray in an area, that's useful, but I don't foresee myself using a degreaser on my car, then taking a towel to really scrub it in. Again, not a comment about you or your channel, but in general I'm not sure what that actually shows in terms of real world performance. Meanwhile washing it a 100 times or more, in a real way that you'd really wash your car, now that would probably be very useful to know.
I am applying the Adam’s H10, but the uv light shows a cross hatch pattern with darker streaks. What am I doing wrong?
Nice!
No need....just coat after correction.
Can you do a video of recollecting letter c's
In the video I can’t tell that the treated areas are any darker or richer.
