I like how nothing is too fancy here, just a man and his angle grinder fashioning a chair.
That router lathe thing you made there is awesome! Such a fast way to make those legs. Great video!
Thanks you so much!
I really like this simple approach.
No fancy mashines, bravo, nice eork
Thank you 😊
9:20 thats a very very good idea to get that angle.. i guess its very common but I see this the first time. Nice!
Nice video. If there’s one thing it taught me it is that I am 100% using a toothbrush next time I do a complex glue up! 👍
That was a beautiful build. Well done, a relaxing video to watch. I like the way you made the legs and spindles and carved the seat.
I will say however,, i feel the back legs should angle back more to provide stability for the sitter.
Geoff from Tasmania
Wau the little bro is ready.the chair for the table. Really nice oleg. You are a creator. Best wishes to you father.
Thank you 😊
*Heavy when full*Excellent !! Made mywife very happy !!
We received this in the mail today! The packaging was fine, no damage during shipping thank goodness! The construction was very simple ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXH3jIpsn6vpr3D26KWAriUejh7CSxVp7 , the bottom rocking part and the ottoman were already put together for us which is nice!As for the actual quality, the wood seems fine.. Not too cheap but maybe not the quality you would find in a store for 400$. However, it is still sturdy and feels secure. I've only had it for one night, so of course no squeaking yet.. But if it does squeak it could be easily oiled. The cushions are comfy, and made of a suede like material. Obviously with time these cushions will probably wear and tear.. But for the price of the chair it is still worth it just to go out and buy new cushions that fit in the future.Overall I am very satisfied, I was a little worried after reading some reviews and looking through the photos, but I'm happy I bought it! Obviously it's not a heavy-duty chair, but with care I'm hoping it will last a while.
Chairs are a lot of work. Very nice. Good eye for design; better than most.
Thanks 😊
I love it!! Congratulation!
Excellent craftsmanship. Cool music choices. 😊
I so enjoyed watching you work. You seem to have the creativity and attention to detail of a true craftsman.Beautiful work. you are insanely talented!
I so enjoyed watching you work. You seem to have the creativity and attention to detail of a true craftsman. Beautiful chair!
Thank you 😊
Ishitani alike, great design, craftmanship and finish, but with a way less fancy workshop and basic machinery.
I really like your design.
Beautiful!
Have been watching with great admiration. Perfection is so boring :)
Thanks :)
Right now this is the best music I have ever heard.
Nice idea how to make a spindles.
BUON VIDEO - REALIZZAZIONI DOC.

Good video ❤❤❤❤
Nice project, great execution, outstanding jigs! 👋👋👋
Woah greate job..
A really great video. May I suggest you partially finish around the joints before gluing. That way squeeze out problems are minimised.
That chair just got slowly more beautiful. Bow back Windsors are very comfortable.
Traditionally Windsor chair legs are inserted nearer the periphery and the various angles all have names like “slouch” and “splay” which all add up to a safe, strong and comfortable chair. There are a few terms that are derived from Windsor chair making. My favourites include slouch and bodge. The woodland around High Wycombe was the area for bodging and there is a Windsor chair museum worth a visit in the town.
Thanks for sharing of information, it's interesting! Sorry for late reply...
Very cool! Great video!
Beautiful work. you are insanely talented!
This is for my school I’m in grade 3
Awesome woodworking thanks for you video.
Thanks for watching!
Great job! Love the work and the video! As an aside, you should wear a respirator with an organic vapour cartridge when you spray. Protect those lungs man!
Turned out amazing! Job well done, sir. I hope to one day (after years of practice) be able to make something as beautiful.
Everything is simple, you just have to try and see how others do it, so don't delay!
Nice one!!!
Thanks you!
Neat and amazing job 👍
Again a beatiful project! Best wishes Andreas
Thank you so much!
Espectacular!!!
I LOVE THOSE JIGS !! THEY MAKE YOUR LIFE SO EASY...
I think I should create new channel about making this jigs, what you think about it?
Could you make a video on the use / construction of that spindle lathe you are using please? Very clever
If I have saved the material, I will edit this video, but I don't promise)
Nice job!
Woow, just discovered your work ! I'm lovin it - because I am stuying to be a cabinetmaker in France !
Love to see the whole work process, keep going it's super inspiring :)
Cool! I'm wondering how your studies are going and what exactly are you studying? If it's not difficult, can you tell about it in one or another way?
Amzing bro
Like) Is very interesting )
1st class!
Can you tell me what wood you used and whether it was green or seasoned please
I'm starting to reallly consider getting some pipe-clamps as well at this point. They seem to be a good alternative to all those overexpensive carcus-clamps.
They’re great, but they get heavy fast when clamping something requiring a few. Still-I love mine. I’ve also used this first clamping jig with great success: ua-cam.com/video/31nrAycKCGY/v-deo.html it’s like having the expensive carcass clamps without the expense!
Beautiful work! Subscribed.
Thanks you Kristian!
Do you think its possible to make furniture only by handtools? I just starting this hobby. And if it's a yes is there any tips or reference?
Yes! Absolutely possible, check out channel of my friends Yuri @gr_woodworking
youtube.com/@gr_woodworking?si=VDxTiky83RcTQ3os
can't say it's easy, but really with a basic tool set you can do anything, the only question is how long it takes
No problems with the oil spray finish?
What kind of anglegrinder are you using?
Awesome work again! I’m getting into wood bending as well, and was wondering since you did not use the steam method, to what thickness do you plane those strips in order to dry bend? 3-4 mm?
that's right, 4 mm, ash is quite plastic wood, so it does not need to be steamed (with such a thickness of the lamels)
Amazing art work!!!
is the whole chair is made by ash as well ?
güzel beğendim eline sağlık
Teşekkürler!
Silly question. What's that spray paint stuff?
This is clear seal oil from American wood oil, not bad finish 👌
Nice! ^^
However, having seen green chairmaking who banks on that the spokes tighten as it dries. Have you found anything to keep in mind about the modern construction of these chairs?
I hope to one day make similar chairs. ^^
Іt was something like an experiment, in general, this is my first chair. What I understood is that you need to slightly change the angle of the legs, so there is nothing difficult in the manufacture...
Well, wickedly executed mate. ^^
Saw that the assembly was opposing eachother a little at the end. what angle did your router jigg have? (~15°?)
How has the chair held up since you built it?
there was one minor problem, if you find me on Instagram, I will send a photo
sorry for late reply...
Next time make a giant pencil
👍
Hello, can you please tell me what you are shooting for?
In order to show my work, find clients and earn money for UA-cam monetization. And what is this question for?
@@infeelfurniture I wanted to ask what technique you shoot video for, why do you do it, I understand.
@@kivach6892 I'm sorry, I didn't understand at first. So, you can write to Instagram, I would tell you everything in detail, to be brief: camera Canon eos 77d ...
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What is your oil please ? 😊 it's ash wood ? Thanks 🙏
Exactly, this is ash! I used American wood oil Clesr seall product.
👍👍👍👍
What a F**&&$$ great job!!!!
Thanks bro 🙏
Did you inherit the workshop from your father or grandfather?
Not really, all the machines and tools are mine, some hand tools came from my grandfather, as well as the basics of woodworking...
@@infeelfurniture The tools are very good, it is clear that it is a very old work. I really enjoyed watching,, I am following you from Saudi Arabia
@@Creative-art77 Thanks from Ukraine 🇺🇦
No chance there’s enough rake nor splay in those legs to make this a safe chair 😳😳😳😳
Fellows, what is your favorite wood??
I think ash and walnut, as for me)
Please wear hearing protection. You'll hate yourself in years time when that ringing is keeping you awake or interfering with having a conversation.
Thanks for the advice!
Don't like the design, but good craftsmanship. You need a respirator though, a dust mask isn't the same at all.
Thanks for the advice!
The safety police are everywhere.
How many times have you fallen over sitting in this chair? Your rake and splay on those legs is far too shallow. Dangerous 🙄🙄🙄🙄
why "japan chairs"
Because I see similar in Japan artisans and took idea from them.
Safety glasses, bro
Gawd more damn music
Sexy music
No materials, no measurements, no tools...
Not Patreon, not Paypal. Easy.
Where did you get that this is an instruction? Does it say how to do it or something like that? You need to check out The Wood Whisperer or Foureyes furniture channel's...
there is material, dimensions, tools, patreon, paypal, etc...
Anyway thanks for watching, coment and dislike :)
Come on.!!!!!.... you don't need instructions and measurements and plans.
Just do it your way. Be CREATIVE
