No words to describe.....I just felt crying.
Top class work.
with all the crazy things happening in the world right now, I can't explain how nice it is to forget about it all for 15 minutes and watch a man build a chair
Out of all the things I've seen in my life, that chair is probably in the top 5 of the most beautiful I've ever seen. I'm deep into handmade things, knives, guitars, furniture, cabins and everything in between. But I have only seen a few things that have come close to being this perfectly designed and crafted. Well done Sir
These skills are passed down from another…..not from a book or college course. Very smart techniques that prove themselves over and over I’ll bet. Just incredible. Like a piece of music that plays every time one looks at the piece. Thanks so much from the USA.
I’ve never scene a wrench used for a measuring, that’s a great tip thank you
Using a spanner to test the diameter of the tenon... What a great and simple solution!
Sunday morning, woke at 3:30 am……West Coast…..this beautiful piece of artistry captured my imagination. I have woodworkers in my family going back to Poland and Germany. This video made me think about the scarred hands in the family from manual labor . Automated Machines do the work to mimic a chair, but this……this is a real chair. Thank you for the gold. Best wishes .
Just one thing to say…..WOW! Thank you for sharing the experience.
Amazing woodworking ! enjoy watching the video ! well done , friend.
Absolutely amazing, woodwork skills like yours come only in genetics pack. Thank you so much for sharing! CDMX
I would just be tickled beyond acceptance to attend a class for making a chair like this. Amazing.
This is an incredible chair, and so rare to find a chair build like this on YT!
Wonderful. It’s like watching that video with the fire, or listening to Scala radio with the birdsong in the morning.
Really enjoyed the video, the aesthetics are fantastic and it was good to see some clever tricks like using the laser to drill holes with handdrill at correct angle. Good job!
Extraordinary job. Congratulations
Lovely chair and a great video. Thanks
Crazy respect for the master.
That looks like a damn good chair
The workshop tools and skill set to do this is beautifully shown in your video. I Subbed straight away. My favourite bit was the aze chopping the seat. 💯😍💯😍😎
Well I admire the skill and result but I don’t think I’d ever have the patience to make this. Very well done !!
Unreal workmanship mate! Kudos 👌
nice. Hmm,, you could sharpen the end of a wrench to act as a fixed diameter cutter for the spindle tenons.
Startling craftsmanship.
Incredible, chair and video. More more more please!
A beautiful modern take on a traditional chair. I have made a few Windsor chairs over the years but using a more traditional form, a far more haphazard method and achieving rather less beautiful results. Some really useful techniques on display: A laser level as an angled drill guide! Who knew? Nice little drying kiln for the spindles and leg ends. And the doohickey for levelling the bottom of chair legs - so much better than my block of wood with a pencil taped to it. I've got to make something similarly adjustable. Brilliant.
Wow, more please! Even your steam box is stylish. Great design and great execution!
Very, very nice. Nuff said.
Brilliant imagery and beautiful light(ing).
Really great job, thank you very much for sharing your great job. I'm really looking forward to seeing your second video.
So excited to watch this! I'm sure its hard to appreciate the amount of work that goes into making one of these beauties, but to get a brief glimpse into into your process and craftsmanship like this is a real treat. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one already!
That's much appreciated 👍🙏👍🙏
Fantastic video, beautiful footage and good content!
Finally, you are on UA-cam! So awesome! I learn a lot from your Instagram page and greatly looking forward to these videos! Thank you!

Huge work and a really great result. Awesome that you were able to break it down to 14 min. 👍 I know it’s hard do decide what to leave out.
he is wearing one of the world biggest shirts
great video, chair looks very stylish and very comfortable - not an easy build either.
Beautifully made and incredibly well proportioned
You really make it look effortless!
Fantastic build & workflow. ^^
Thank you fior this amazing zen production.
Beautiful build and beautiful job capturing all the wave tops of the process 👍

Turned out great! Thanks for sharing your process.
Beautiful! Amazing work!
What an absolutely beautiful chair and a very well made video ! I’m just starting to go down the rabbit hole of making chairs, a good friend of mine is going to teach me, hopefully I will be able to make something as beautiful as this one day !
Well how's it going?
@@pmacc3557 very well actually, I have a Windsor chair under my belts and a good few stools made now
The most amazing part: no sandpaper.
I love this video! Thank you…!!
Just beautiful, I need to learn those skills
Beautiful and thank you for sharing.
Beautiful craftsmanship! Congrats to you both!
🙏
excelent work!, congrats. Cheers.
Geometry made beautiful.
This is incredible! Well done, loved watching the process.
WHY IS ONLY ONE VIDEO??
is so relaxing and beautiful, great work and video ❤️
Amazing build! My dream is to build a single chair like this one day! I follow you on IG and am constantly amazed at all of the amazing chairs you build!!
i enjoyed that thank you its beautiful. i wonder what the tool for shaping the seat was besides the adzes and card scraper
wow great content
Love it
明明完整、认真地看着你完成了它,但我还是没学会,真惭愧。
Chair very beautiful
I'm sold
Linda, parabéns pelo trabalho.
Nice.
Such a lovely chair and what fine craftsmanship. Amazing.
UA-cam recommended me this video. Which is quite odd and scary because I was just watched Ishitani Furniture built a spindle chair this week too. But the craziest part of this is that Ishitani is a Japanese craftsman with a white dog, while you are a Western craftsman with a black dog. What are the coincidence? 😂
That wrench trick at 1:55 is going into the toolbox.
No gloves, definitely an engineer.
What’s that supposed to mean? You don’t typically use gloves when woodworking
Thank you! A wooden chair can be a great choice for many different spaces, from the living room to the office. Could you describe the chair you like to me?
Impressive ! You’ve custom tweaked many steps
Stunning.
Pls make more videos like this
Necesito más de esto.
Felicidades y saludos desde Mexico 🇲🇽
Amazing work
You only have 2 videos??! I watched this video without checking views and I thought this must at least be 2 million views with like a 500k subs😐
This was a great watch, all the woodworking videos are weird click baity stuff and as a woodworker I don't like the jig craze going on in the UA-cam and Instagram, 90% of the woodworking videos are about making jigs. This is how woodworking videos should be.
Watching it felt like a therapy. By the way what was that you were doing putting back support pcs in a sealed cabinet? Wondered what is that proceses.
That is very cool
I like your products; thanks for sharing the process, why you don’t use the tapered tenons? I see your course on Domestika and see the same way to make it. Thanks
Very nice!
classic
thank you I consumed the char
sodium hydroxide
Thank goodness someone can help me with my chair consumption

Great video! And beautiful chair, can I ask what you use for finish?
Amazing video. I want to be a carpenter.
Parabéns 👏🏻👏🏻 excelente trabalho!!!
Amazing.
"that's pretty good"
Do you maybe offer plans and templates of that Beauty?
Quer dizer que cadeira de vó tem um estilo específico?
