Thank you for pointing out that the timing chain cover could very well be pushed in enough after putting the seal in that it would rub on the oil slinger ----- and for the Tip on before tightening down the cover to put the crankshaft pulley on which will center the cover not to be tight on one side of the seal and leak or wear out quicker -------- Got a Question ---- I want to do my own block -- hopefully just re-ring and new bearings --- in the cleaning of the block --- especially the oil passages --- are the PLUGS that cap off some of those passages available? --- I don't want to be knocking them out and can't find a replacement ---- I wish I was a little younger and not so many projects --- Had a chance today to get a '56 MGA for $600.00 -- no engine --- Hope someone will make good use of her ----- Thank You again --- Hope you have a Good Week ---- Rodney
