I used to play this game as a child. I remember there were microtransactions, but they weren't that necessary or in your face from what I remember. The game didn't constantly yell at you to buy gems, and I never really found myself running out. Plus, none of the customisation options were locked behind them so that's good. When it comes to microtransactions the game could be a lot worse.

I remember playing the game when i was young before it got infamous for its community content. I believe the only game I’ve touched was gacha studio and club. The game has a lot of customization features so I used that for character references and a base for drawing when I was younger. Sad to see the game disgraced because of the community.

The company that made Gacha Life, Lumine, also made a visual novel. As far as visual novels go, I've read worse; the artwork is pretty not great, the UI is annoying, and the story is derivative of one of their other games that I couldn't be bothered to play. But it has some good moments, and Ellie's route in particular is cute in a kind of cringy way. If you want to read a Western vn, you could go worse, I guess. Key still has 'em blown out of the water, though

It's a video game, yes, but it's mainly used as a way for people to make videos and tiktoks. Also, if you go to the spooky house, and find the room with 5 or 6 teleporters and step on them in a certain pattern, you get taken to one of the most mysterious parts of the game, two glitched characters that seemingly make no sense being in this game. Also I played it for a while and never once payed money for it, and managed to get almost everything in the game's loot boxes.
My brave comrade... He risked his life against all the 12-year-old white girls to inform us on the horrific ways of the gatcha. God bless 🇺🇸

Honestly, watching Gacha Life videos is quite a ride - the majority of the movies are... well, uhm... yeah. But once you find an actual good one, it feels so refreshing.
Well the problem for me is things are repetitive too repetitive some examples are the hated child who became a queen a story that involves any type of an alpha in it and every girl character looking the same. So this means that even if a gacha video is good it will be held down by lack of creativity

I try to be as unbiased as possible when I make reviews, a game shouldn’t be judged badly because of a community. Even though I said Gacha life is overrated and kinda mediocre at best I said that based off of the game and not the people that play it.

I only use it to make anonymous virtual avatars and to help visualize potential OCs. Other than that, I don't care about the Gacha games or the fandom at all. As a "Gacha Kid" watching this then I actually found this really funny! XD He's never really mocking that "community" if you can even call it that, and he actually looks at more then just the "CRINGY" studio mode and character designs like other reviews of the "game" does. I can actually take a joke and find a video like this to be very entertaining, and enjoyable even as someone is the "community". So great job on the video!
