Hmm well a minute of silence to your crankset it will wear out quickly also it will damage your chain links if you didn't know it's harder to keep the chain straight wrt to the rear cassets while with a three speed it's easier to keep the chain straight and wear it down less. Especially when your rear derailleur has been damaged due to a fall or extreme offroading it would start chain hopping to compensate that 3* is better than 1* or 2* also 3* gives better range for most people than a 2*. Also you can do climbs more easier rather than crunch gears on 2* and 1*.
I made this mistake back in 2017 😅 never again lol
@@gwadamit8116 1x and 2x crankset are bettwer at steep climb than 3x crank ? should i buy 3x crankset as i am purscahsing bike of 60,000 rs so is it worth it to go with 3x crank or should i buy 1x or 2x in the same price.. at last i would say that do 1x and 2x give easier climbing on steep than 3x ?
But nobody can define the actual utility of 1X over 3X.
1.Yeg high end cycles me use hote hai isiliye better hai.

4. Gear chalanaeasy hai isiliye better hai ( I puchased 3X front gear 17 years ago and I know how to use gear. Then what should i do?)

I bought 3x7 mtb last month. Watched a few videos on UA-cam related to gears usage. But still it took me around 1 week to get used to the gears. But it is working fine for me now.

Quite informative . I used to ride a Giant Revel 1 with 3 speed and 8 gears and have recently got a Rockrider ST 560. I feel 3 speeds are faster than single speed.
Love it! Most UA-camrs just Show expensive parts and make us feel like the price is nothing. But he completely stands out in that. Enjoy whatever you have. Upskill yourself and you can always upgrade later.

Most of 3x7 crank set are freewheel based technology.. and above 7 are mostly Cassette free hub based. You find cassette in bicycles which are 25000+ with rear having greater than 7 speed or crank set. Free hub Cassettes are more reliable and durable. You can get 52 tooth crank also for the rear 😂

So can we install a 1x crank set in an entry level bike which has a normal 3x crank set with 7 gears at the rear?
Yes bro you can , but it is very expensive because you have to change the whole drivetrain which contains the crank shifters, cassetes,etc. And when you convert it to 1x you also have to change the rear deraliuer coz 7 gears in the back wont give you enough range of gears
And if you wanna upgrade , upgrade to shimano deore in the back
It would cost you about 15K to 20K to convert
Im ising the trek marlin 6 from last 2 weeks it has 1x drivetrain it is easy to use and more relaible and less maintenance and complications ....thats it

Buddy don't go for trek because they don't have value for money. I will refer u to buy a Polygon bcoz they have the same components as Trek in a lower price and even Polygon has better Aerodynamics. If u want Full suspension they u can buy any of the Polygon Siskiu Cycles
