Posbank | Boutique Hotel Beekhuizen | Nationaal Park Veluwezoom | | Hotel review

In this video, I show you the heather (de heide) in bloom at the Veluwezoom National Park (Nationaal Park Veluwezoom). I also give you a hotel review of the Boutique Hotel Beekhuizen. This was our first time hiking in the Netherlands and it absolutely did not disappoint! The park is enormous and there are plenty of areas to explore. It took about 1 hour to walk from the hotel to the Posbank which is a famous viewing point. Overall, this is a very doable weekend trip from Amsterdam given that the train journey takes about an hour from Amsterdam Centraal to Arnhem Centraal, followed by a 20 minute taxi ride to the hotel.

Hello there! My name is Daniella Perera and I’m an artist and vlogger based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I grew up in Hong Kong and the UK, and I’m of mixed heritage including Chinese, Sri-Lankan, Dutch and Portuguese.

From the Posbank you can see Elten Germany (the hill with a tv tower) on the left, and Nijmegen/Berg en Dal a bit right of the middle.
