@@jleron22 He's had quite a bit of big awards, but really the takeaway should be that there can't be enough accolades given to this man. He's that important. He could be given every honor in music and the humanities and we'd need to make up more just for him.
I don't know if this is an exhaustive list of every achievement and recognition he's been given (as it's Wikipedia), but you can check this out.

Little is a very nice man. I will never forget when my bestie and I were in Hollywood many years back and saw a long stretch limo and recognized him turns out we were staying in the same hotel and he invited us to his room for fruit and kept saying his feet were bothering him. He was performing that night and prayed for us, blessed us and then he gave us gifts, took photos with us and autographed a couple books for us. We were 2 silly girls in our early 20's from Chicago and he treated us like princesses and talked to us like we were his daughters. We were so blessed to have experienced this!

And so the story goes. He was original in his music and entertainment. But I agree we dont pay omege to these ones while they are here. He had to fight to be titled for his gifted talent and the struggle was very well worth it. He had fame and fortune but the powers that be did not want him to be recognized. He made his mark by opening doors for other people today. Not just in the entertainment world but in all areas of civil and human rights. He went back to his roots and we better recognize who and what this man meant to this planet.

Richard always said that Chuck Berry was his absolute favorite performer. And he and James Brown competed and pushed each other to greatness in Georgia before they both hit big in the 50s. It's remarkable that Little Richard was able to cut loose in the South, during the darkest days of Jim Crow, and actually got away with it because alot of the Whites thought he was GAY! They figured he wouldn't be after the white girls, so he was ok!

@Taylor Holloway Jesus Christ is not a religion or a cult but a real person who came to earth to set an example of how we should live and he gave his life for us to have eternal life. I've watched testimonies of people who were once atheist, new age, devil worshippers change their life and became born again spiritually and given their lives to Jesus Christ. The devil is a liar, he's deceived many people. At least for brother Richard he acknowledged that he was lost and broken inside spiritually and needed a saviour Jesus Christ. We all are up against a spiritual battle inside. This isn't church talking or religion but the truth. Some people like to argue and say the Bible isn't real. The Ancient sea scrolls prove the King James Bible is authentic. In the Bible 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 14 says but the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 15 says But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. I was once a foolish man but I came back to God

Little Richard left that life behind him, and became a new person. He left the music industry went back to school, graduated from an HBCU , became an ordained minister, and spoke about the ills of the world and love. Little Richard lived a different life because his old life he realized it was idolatry. We have to accept people for the changes they made it their lives, if he didn't feel comfortable with that past, we have to accept it.

Little Richard was a one of a kind person. You don’t hear of very many, if any, “celebrities” that back away from the limelight (R.I.P. Neil Peart) because your fans start to idolize you and “it just doesn’t feel right.” Famous people want the money that comes with the fame but most don’t have a faith so they aren’t really at odds with anything. Little Richard DID have his faith and he chose that over all things worldly.

It's kinda sad that Elvis Presley only got All the recognition in Rock n' Roll genre than the TRUE Pioneers of Rock n' Roll Little Richard and Chuck Berry 😔

Chuck Berry on your head to number one hits. My Ding-A-Ling and Johnny Be Good I just looked it up Chuck Berry was known for his guitar playing not so much vocalist. You're missing the whole thing Elvis Presley was Versa ties he can sing anything imbalance Rock and Roll country gospel rhythm and blues you name it he can sing it. And today Elvis Presley was a well-known Entertainer he didn't shut down at a piano and saying. He danced around he moved around and he interacted with his fans.
And Elvis gave over 200 Cars way to his friends family and fans. He has gave jewelry to his fans. He's did over a thousand shows. Roughly. 150 shows a year..

Well that’s better than dying young and going to eternal burning. Imma need y’all to stop speaking death on him though, not matter how old or young he is.
