- @huckberry and @timex just did a re-release of the Ironman Triathlon FLIX Watch! It’s tough, simple, and doesn’t have any tech that will constantly distract you. When Huckberry reached out to see if I was interested in taking a look at it I told them up front I am not a watch guy but, my buddy Charles over there said he thought I would dig it. As not a watch guy I can say it’s lightweight and has exactly what I need and nothing more ( even though the memo feature is a mystery to me😁). As I dove into why you would want to reissue a watch that I feel like I saw everywhere in the late 90’s I found that it’s super tough and everyone from athletes to military loved this model for its dependability and simplicity. I know I’m probably off just a bit but it is super similar to the watch @jockowillink wears and posts all the time too! If you’re looking for something simple, tough, and a little retro it’s a hard deal to beat for right around $100. Now I’ll sit back and wait for the watch guys to teach me all the stuff I didn’t know👊😁!
A man used an indiglo watch light to escape a dark tunnel while diving in the 90’s. I remember my mother getting me an indiglo watch (this exact watch) when I was young, due to this story about the light being bright enough to light a path in the total darkness. Historic feature. Could save a life imho. I want one for the nostalgia alone.

I just found my dad’s old time Max Iron Man in my nightstand this morning and man oh man that thing is just great

That MEMO section is actually perfect for hard to remember passwords. And no theif is checking an old timex for passwords.
I use the modern version of this model, just picked this reissue up though. Probably will wear it when I'm not working.
The best part is that when you hold down the glo it sets that you can check it with one hand by flicking the watch.
Can't beat a bit of retro.

If I was wearing a wrist watch, I would probably get this one!
I stopped wearing wrist watches when mobile phones came out for the broad public.
I also noticed I was checking my watch way too often, because looking at my wrist is very easy. And that made me get annoyed at how slow time passes, lol. 😅
I like the looks and dimensions of this watch a lot though! 🥰

I'd rather have a watch that's waterproof DOWN to 100 meters, but that's just my preference.

I had to watch it twice, but when you are playing with the timer, it actually says Pepsi across the top...subliminal advertising from the late 90's! Sick.
