Your video inspired me to finish my Castellan Crowe! I know I am a year late in re-watching and finally painting my model. Thanks for the inspiration to try out Grey Knights!
I am really liking this model more and more. At first, I was a little skeptical but now I can`t wait to build up and paint my own. I´m gonna convert him to be a custom Brotherhood Champion with teleporter backpack for my upcoming Crusade. Really excited to field the new Grey Knights!
Looks really cool, this is kinda the thing I wanna go with, with my Castellan Crowe for my Grey Knight Terminator Squad lead by Crowe vs Belakor setting. Again , really cool and thanks for the tips :D
Looks sick, man! Personally, when I hopefully get my own some day, I'ld take the flames off the sword. Feels like it's going against the whole "refusing to tap it's power" thing that makes up a major part of his lore. Also, possibly minor nitpick, but I think both shoulder pads are meant to be white, could be wrong though

@@onelastblade3913 Lazarus from the Dark Angels is modeled with his sword in his left hand as well. There are a few models here and there that seem to be left-handed. In my head they are, but who really knows.
Amazing paint job! Are you going to make an exception with your no-named-characters-fluff and field him in some of your battles, maybe in a crusade themed campaign against One Last Khopesh? Per usual: For the Emperor!
I have not figured it out myself. The best I can do is painting the rune color largely across the area, and then going over with the sword color trying to avoid in the runes. So run color first.

I just had my first ever game of warhammer on table top simulator the other day and am kind of struggling to make an allrounder list. Ive been using purifers in a few of my games and actually quite like them. For the most part they have consistently been getting off their psychic power in my games and have easily been one of my most deadly squads
You can use the top of warding staves for badass Iron halos. Unfortunately this is the only use of them in the new codex :P And you can use the servo skulls to make new warding staves. PS: Is he going to see action? Because of your rule for named characters?
as a person who waits to pull a trigger on GK army( only have command edition and indomitus untouched) it feels like a bad idea to watch your videos. Thank fully gamesworkshop is out of grey knights XD otherwise i would just add to cart.

You know, I thought so too, but the official paintjob has that shoulder painted silver. The old model is definitely white, though.

That's why I'm sticking with the old model and my friend who I'm splitting the Hexfire box with is getting the new Crowe and converting him.

That is a lovely little detail! He is the only left-handed Space Marine I can think of off the top of my head.

It's likely. Him being an Honoured Knight helps -- I'm not locked to a Brotherhood like I would be with Voldus.
