Chocolate Mousse Recipe
A smooth and indulgent dessert, this chocolate mousse is light, creamy, and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup milk (240g)
1 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Chocolate Mixture:
In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, milk and butter.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens (about 10-12 minutes).
Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature. Stir occasionally while cooling to prevent skin from forming on top.
2. Whip the Cream:
In a mixing bowl, beat the whipping cream with vanilla extract until it begins to thicken.
Add the cooled chocolate mixture and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
3. Assemble the Mousse:
Transfer the mousse to a piping bag and pipe it into serving glasses.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
4. Serve:
Optional: Garnish with grated chocolate before serving.
