This video is super biased. I’ve owned both these wheels and preferred the t150 hugely. You forgot to mention how loud and notchy the Logitech is and how smooth and quiet the t150 is… plus the peripheral‘s thrustmaster offers are far superior. Nothing personal, but thumbs down on this one
As I have a kids and thin walls to neighbours, this is actually an underestimated factor which determined my purchase. And holy damn, compared to my old Logitech G27, it's about 20% of the volume. It also feels much smoother, too, and I am not very use to that (despite it being preferable). The FFB difference, however - I'm not so sure yet on the nuances.
I purchased mine new T150 Pro for around 170 EUR and even though I instantly knew that Logi would be a better option bur for the price I wasn’t able to find it any store so I am still super happy knowing it will work with GT7 and PSVR2 :)
@@verxcyvl it was one of electro-stores in Poland called „Morele”. For the price it’s great :D I guess the prices went up since I bought it (2019) so if you can buy Logitech for let’s say 30 bucks more then I would simply pay extra for more premium quality built materials. Otherwise it’s worth to consider :)
What's funny is that I watched a few reviews about these wheels and you get mixed information, and sometimes reviewers have no clue about the differences and won't investigate to make sure their reviews are accurate... As for this guy he already made up his mind that logitech is better and does not mention the T150 advantages, such as the 1080 degree of rotation or the belt system...
The price difference right now in UK is huge. I can get a T150 and a seperate set of T3PM pedals for a total of £190. Cheapest i can find a G923 is £290.
Yesterday i got my G293 ...and YES it´s my First wheel It´s an ABSOLUTE cool and "realistic" Experience ...you FEEL the Dirt under the Tires , thr physics are just great ..i Play it on PC with Assetto Corsa and ..MAN it´s so COOL ! But it´s HARD to reach over 300 Km/h or the 7th gear ..
Few things worth mentioning: Apart from the trueforce gimmick, logitech did give more power to the ffb motors on g923 as compared to their previous wheels, so ffb wise it now definitely wins over t150. On the other hand, if someone is an avid gran turismo player on both ps4 and ps3, t150 offers actual 100% compatibility with both of them - that is having usable clutch and shifter, while on logitech side, g923 does not work on ps3 at all. The previous logitech wheel, g29, has ps3 support, but it's really cut down as it ignores clutch and shifter.
Where did you get this pricing? G29 is 280EUR while T150 (with only two pedals) is 220EUR, the T150 Pro with three pedals is cca 280EUR. The G923 is 350EUR. With this pricing the G29 is a superior wheel and the best choice for any budget sim racer
I would have to go with the g923/g29 I didn't know the g923 came in playstation version haha I will say this I know to many people that actually like logitech pedals lol
i feel like this is biased, yes there's build quality, but its really not about that, logitech's force feedback system is inferior and feels vastly "worse" in my opinion, this will make more of a difference than just real leather, again, the g923 (or really the g29 and g920 as well) are gear engines, not belt, gear engines are very loud and don't deliver force feedback like the t150 does, the t150 is a belt engine, and if you're talking about pedals then yes, i guess the g923's stock pedals are better, but if you're talking about the clutch pedal, the g923 comes with one but you HAVE to buy a seperate shifter, so there's not really a point in having it if you're not willing to spend an additional 70$ on a shifter.
I am getting a wheel for NR2003, ona track like Daytona where braking isnt needed in corners but only for pit stops and crashes, having a good brake isnt needed but for me who also loves road courses just as much where braking is needed, i need a good brake
I got a Logitech g923 and a local vendor sells a pack of Thrustmaster pedals and shifter. Could I use the G923 wheel with the thrustmaster pedals and shifter until maybe down the line I upgrade the wheel too?
i have a question, are the original pedals of the t150 this bad? i want to buy the wheel for acc and i saw some good offerzs, but with the original pedals.
Yes, you will be able to get Loadcell fanatec pedals for under 200$ when the loadcell pedal for the CSL Pedal will be available. Those are 22$ more and superior in every way
I’ve seen the G923 ha a different brake spring compared to the G29. Does it improve things? Also, the conical mod on the Thrustmaster brake seems similar to the inserts you ca get for the Logitech brake. How does the Logitech brake with the mod compare? Does the extra €10 plus effort to fit it make a measurable difference. Also, there’s the Truebrake mod that costs a bit more for the Logitech brake. Is it worth the price or are we getting into the price rage where a better set of pedals is possible. Finally, glad to see you recommend used. I’m expecting with the world coming out of lockdown that we’ll see a lot of T150 and G29/920/923 being sold off. Could be bargain time for used entry level wheels. Maybe even more so with the new Fanatec CSL DD on sale later this year.
The progressive spring in the G923 is significantly easier to apply 100 brake pressure than the G29. I think it’s similar to the modded spring (although I never modded my G29). It gets rid of the two-step brake feel, which I personally didn’t like because I always felt like I had to jam the brake pedal to get closer to 100% brake pressure
@@210gremlin too bad wheel is noisy to use on living room i know you can tone it down by lowering FFB Gains but lowering FFB Gains what you do in any wheels per games anyway i think DFGT was less noisy then G series to be honest
@mynameisaudie if you have the budget for a g29 go for that, it is a better wheel overall, the DFGT wheel is nice and all but the pedals are attrocious to say it mildly.
Thrustmaster’s reliability is the only thing for which I am interested in buying the g29.Also in my country g29’s are available where as TMs are expensive as fanatec for their import fees other than that even the T150 with three pedals and shifter are way too expensive compared to the g29 with shifter.
