Y’all really need to do his Grand Ole Opry performance with Craig Morgan of Almost Home, the full video with the dialogue. Shows a lot more of who Jelly is. ♥️
Jellyroll is fantastic. I love this song, and really who hasn’t done that? Jellyrolls lyrics and songs are just very relatable. Thank you for this great reaction. I’m glad you are fans now. Thank you baby for picking this song ❤! Great choice.
Definitely a powerful and relatable sentiment in this song. Jelly Roll's delivery of this song was next level! In my opinion Jelly Roll has one of the best, if not the best, male voices in Country Music right now. He definitely has the most powerful voice and he is incredibly talented at projecting his emotions through his voice! I've said it before but I'll say it again, I really think Jelly Roll would fit right in with several of the older Legends of country music. I'm specifically thinking of guys like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, and Kris kristofferson. I'm so glad that Jelly Roll turned his life around and has chosen to share himself with us through his music!
Jelly's best friend from childhood is Waylon's step grandson and fellow rapper Struggle Jennings. They've released 4 collab albums together, Waylon & Willie I-IV
Jellyroll's real name is Jason De Ford. You need to watch his testimony I front of Congress he gave on a fentanyl bill. It is really something to watch. Having 2 boys that are now 26 and 21 that have been clean now for year. Jellyroll is just not an amazing singer but an amazing person.
Thank you Steven for requesting this. I didn't think I would like Jelly Roll, but once I listened to him I have been a fan and love his music. I even like some of his rap and that is not my genre. I really like the songs off of his new album Whittsit Chapel.
The video really amps this song up. I remember when I first heard it I thought the "please don't let me lose her" line was about a break up. Means so much more when you watch the video. Love you guys! ❤
Alays interpreted this as being about a lover/girlfriend/you name it. The song hits hard and that music video adds an additional layer. DAMN!! Jelly is SO SO talented.
Jelly Roll began his career as a rapper and some of his older songs like Fall In The Fall, Can't Go Home, The Bottle And Mary Jane, Same Ol' A**hole, and Even Angels Cry are worth a reaction. ✌️
I am pagan and I have been for almost 30 years but this song still hits me because it doesn’t matter what dates you are you still pray for someone and so I can relate very much to almost all of his songs. I absolutely love him so I look forward to seeing you, react him.
I got to see Jelly Roll at NRG Stadium at the Houston Rodeo March 6th! It was absolutely epic! Jelly Roll puts on an amazing show! Rap, rock, country we did it all that night! I'm actually going to Jelly again in El Paso in September! Forever a Jelly Roll fan!
Dustin was right on when he said the only thing worse thing then loosing a kid is watching one suffer. I have been there loosing 2 of my sons, and watching my oldest suffer his last days was the hardest thing. I found myself, telling him it was ok to let go. I felt guilty then for telling him that ( and still do, at times) but watching him suffer, I just wanted his pain to end.
I admit, I hear Jelly Roll on country radio all the time. I love his music and messages. It IS odd to hear him on country radio, but only because I'm older and was raised on the classics, he's now a classic.
@@BourbonCountryReacts I have a question that might be really ignorant but I am wanting to send you guys a bribe and I don't know much about whiskey or alcohol in general. I am trying to find something that goes good with the song I want but since I've never had it I don't know what kind it is. Is Southern Comfort a bourbon? If not I will find something else just curious. Also can you guys put in a vote for Conway Twitty's She Only Meant To Use Him. I swear you guys will like the song and I would love to see your reactions to it.
@@ambergerber5162 Southern Comfort qualifies as a North American whiskey, so, it's fine. We tend to stick to bourbons, ryes, and other whiskeys from North America. So, basically, no gin, rum, vodka, etc... Also, like Dustin, I'm glad we were able to help in any small way. Sorry for your loss. - Keith
I went to a jelly roll concert last year and it was so fun. Also went to a small one at a bar in tennesee 12 years ago and he had the same energy then. Love to see him getting the respect he deserves finally haha
2:05 Jelly Roll was actually a gangster rapper for like 10+ years and I'm so happy for the success he's found. Its just so funny to me as a longtime fan of his rap, hearing people refer to him as a country artist with rock influences. But I'm so happy with who he's become. P.s. I suggest, if yall have time, to check out Vice's show 'Noisey' episode about Nashville from 2015. I used to watch all the episodes, they did 2 on Chicago, they did Detroit, Compton, Miami, Atlanta, Sao Paulo, I think Jamaica, Lagos and others. But the Nashville episode focused primarily on Jelly with other segments on a guy Mikel Knight, Margo Price and Kesha. But I've followed Jelly and Struggle ever since and it's crazy looking back on that episode how much he's changed
I've seen Jelly twice, the first time was in a festival setting so that was a little different but the second time I swear, as corny as it sounds, it felt like church. So glad you guys love him. I vote for your next Jelly Roll song to be "She" Another one that touches on a difficult topic.
If you're planning on listening to Jelly Roll's whole catalog it may take you some time. He has over 40 records. Most of them are, up until recently, mostly rap. Being a Nashville native even his rap music has a Country flavor, albeit a drug dealing trap house proudly white trash gangster country rapper. He can free style rap lyrics off of the top of his head like nobodies business and he is my favorite rapper by far. He is well respected in all genres. Speaking of genres, you mislabeled Pink Floyd because Pink Floyd is not in any way and never was considered 'Acid Rock'( that would be bands like Iron Butterfly or Led Zeppelin). Pink Floyd was and has always been known as a Progressive Rock band, at least since 1974 when they released their signature album the Dark Side of the Moon and forever defined that genre. Jelly Roll, like some of the most talented artists can never really be pinned down to just one genre. Think of Elvis, he is and always will be the King of Rock n Roll, but he also recorded and charted several country songs and produced a slew of Gospel records.
Another great reaction gentlemen, thank you. Jelly Roll has a heart of gold too. Its evident in his interviews & esp the powerful testimony he gave at the Senate hearing on the current fent@nyl epidemic. He's a real one.🙏❤️
Since you Love Jelly Roll, please do a reaction to his song "I am not ok" you will definitely add it to your playlist as well... Can't wait to see y'all's reaction❤
I know I just found y'all. Y'all are the only ones that I have found that understands Jellyroll and Hardy's music. I don't know where y'all are from but in the south, on Hardy's music video wait in the truck means something bad is going to happen. Plus Hardy actually gifted Lainey a Judge for her birthday. I have shot one before. Once with the 410 shotgun shell and the 45 caliber shells. It's one hell of gun.
If you don't know anything about him. Yall need to go and follow his Story. Was in snd out of jail since he was 14, living in a van with nothing, until he met his wife. Ive heard alot of people call her the gold digger because the way she looks, she's not. She had the money first. I could go on and on, but i want yall to follow his journey.
Jelly Roll is awesome. He was a mentor on American Idol this season and he has such a different perspective for music. Katy Perry is leaving AI and word is she thinks JR would be an awesome judge.
I've gotten a lot more into Cigars relatively recently. I had smoked a few cigars a while back and enjoyed them, but I didn't really know anything about them. Now I've done a lot more research on cigars, on how they are made, and what to expect from the different categories of cigars. From what I've experienced, Connecticuts tend to be good all around cigars that can be smoked in a number of different scenarios. I have found that I like the flavors of a Maduro but the traditional Toro size tends to be a little strong for me. I need to get a couple Robusto sized Maduro and smoke them to see if that makes a difference! My absolute favorite Cigar so far is the My Father No. 2 Belicoso. That smooth Ecuadorian grown Habano wrapper contrasts so well with the peppery Nicaraguan binder and it makes for an incredible cigar!
The song sort of reminds me of some old lines from years ago, but I'm not sure they were so Honest sounding. Does anyone remember, "Have you got? Will you Lend? Can I borrow?". Those requests weren't always received in the same fashion as I remembered the new tools in my garage I've bought again. Yes, my friend Jelly Roll brings you Home again and Rock is a little bit Country!
Since you want more of jelly roll, you can also play save me ft Eminem... That is just as powerful cuz Eminem is rapping his TRUE story about him in an added verse... VERY powerful
I don’t know if y’all like to watch interviews, but there’s a good Jellyroll interview. He’s on TL’s Roadhouse with Tracy Lawrence. It’s very laid back. They’re on Tracy’s bus drinking and just talking. I thought it was pretty good and interesting.
Our award-winning Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey, infused with Burleson’s Texas Wildflower Honey, resulting in a smooth, light bourbon with a sweet honey finish. Our Master Distiller transformed used bourbon barrels into small, wooden cubes that were immersed in honey. After fully absorbing it, they were placed in the belly of a stainless-steel tank, letting the bourbon soak up those delicious honey flavors every single day for seven months

I love this song, but the first time we saw the music video we had our (then around 8 month old) daughter in one of our laps and my wife just had to turn it off. One of the very few modern songs with a video that punches the song up that much.
He's got a great voice, and he seems to feel the music so what's not to like! I'd like to sample some Garrison too but it's not to be. As always, the review is fine.
As good as this song is and it's my favorite by JR, it suffers greatly by being over-produced. For a while there was an outdoor live version from Nashville with about 6 musicians and a crowd of about 100, and it was incredible but has since been pulled.
