The thing that gets a one star from me everytime is when people act like I'm a lowly driver. I am a stranger who's come to do something nice for you!!! DO NOT ACT LIKE YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME!
I give 1 star to people who ask me tons of questions like I'm their personal tour guide. I live in a tourist area so people think I'm an information booth. Also instant one star when they ask how much I make or if I drive full time. Lol
When you tear rubber out Honda doir frame throw in back seat ..worst ride belgerant drunk . Luckily got to Scottsdale my next ride helped me get back in . . Had not popped back in.he been charged . I'm pretty nice after hearvthis videos. Uber Pets here I'm good seat covers dude .
Slamming the door on purpose, arguing with me, vomiting inside the car and not apologizing, distracting me until I have unable to drive the vehicle safely. Smoking tobacco or marijuana, causing a near miss, hitting me, or being super rude and disrespectful is automatic kick out. Something like not saying thank you as the only thing they have done wrong would be a 4 star review because that’s only just a little bit disrespectful. If they vomit inside my car and sincerely apologize they can still get a 5 star rating but they’ll be charged for the cleaning because accidents happen. For making me wait, I dock a star for making me wait over 90 seconds with an additional star docked every 60 seconds and cancel ride after 5 minutes. Going off GPS is a Star docked every turn. Vaping without rolling down the window is 2 stars docked for low powered vapes and 3 stars docked for high powered vapes. If they are already at 1, and they pushed me again they are getting kicked out.
@Michael Pfeffer Waiting for someone that doesn't respect their drivers time isn't going to make you successful. Canceling the ride and picking up a respectful person will!
Let him do what they won’t do find you an old car or an old suburban and make that $20 tip each market is different but I ain’t giving anybody five stars because I only pick up five star custom special driver’s living in the bubble
@@chris.coffin I understand your car but in the tos it says that a passenger can be banned from the app for doing that. I personally don't allow because I've had passenger rate and report me for smelling after I use to let people do that. What you allow one passenger do affects how the next one rates you.
My worse 1 Star Rider was. Dude gets into my car drunk of course and doesnt say a word. He reaches out and grabbed my beard. Me: WTF are you doing? Him: i like your Beard! Me: what makes you so entitled do wanna do that to someone? Him: Silent Needles to say he is no longer on the Uber Platform. They banned him when i reported the issue. Ive given over 25,500 Rides and can count on one hand my bad experiences.
While I agree that these things can be disrespectful, I feel like some of them are pretty petty reasons to 1* a passenger. Maybe it's because Green Bay isn't the busiest market, or maybe I'm just averse to receiving retaliatory 1* ratings myself, but it takes A LOT for me to 1* a passenger. Basically, it boils down to "Were they bad enough that I am unwilling to give them a ride again?" If the answer is "yes," then it's 1*. Otherwise, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
the dude in this interview attitude gives me unhappy vibes with the way he is talking. the way he got angry because of the dog hair and not even caring if a person was late to the curb and still apologetic knowing it was their fault is just silly.
I'm a passenger, not a driver, and I try to do all of these things. However, sometimes the pickup areas at airports are large and occasionally I find myself in the wrong place. Usually we text or call each other and resolve this, but it does take some time. Please forgive me for this, especially when I'm unfamiliar with the territory. I appreciate all you and your compatriots so. Thank you. 🙂
You’re very welcome. Sometimes getting through the airports can be really challenging-especially the huge airports like O’Hara, LAX, etc. I’ve been driving for about 6 years now and 99% of my rides go smoothly. I understand there are concerns on both the rider & driver sides. However, I personally think this guy is being a little TOO critical of his passengers. Just because someone doesn’t say thank you when they leave doesn’t mean they deserve a 1 star! Sometimes people just don’t want to talk. As long as they are courteous and quiet I’m ok with that. Let’s not come down on people so hard. Geez.
I’m a driver and I can tell by your comment that you are sincere and we as drivers do understand that in airport and events etc… it’s confusing even for us drivers so we descent drivers do not mind the wait on those trips especially when the passenger communicates. We only don’t like to wait at residentials or restaurants. Residential cause there’s no excuse to be late. Restaurants are usually in hot areas and it’s hard to wait and block traffic especially in downtown
You should find out where the pickup area is before you request a ride. If you request a ride and then wander around the airport looking for the pick up area while you’re driver is sitting there waiting you are an idiot.
Thank you. Calling/texting your driver is the right thing to do. I understand a rider might not be familiar with the airport, but I see it everyday, so calling or picking up when I call wouldn't affect your rating with me
@gondola8539f you do that you don’t get paid the cancellation fee. You literally just drove to the pickup for free. Uber has started offering more pay if you wait past the 7 minutes
@gondola8539 it’s about the same as a base fare and if you have to wait for three or four rides in a day it adds up. But it sounds like you like driving around without getting paid🤣
I leaned not to take an Uber while in Atlanta. My 5-star streak was ruined during a weekend get away. One Uber driver gave 1 star and the other gave 2. They didn’t have to wait, we track them in the app and wait outside as they pull up, no food, no unwanted dialogue AND they got at tip (in the app). Next time I’m in ATL, I’ll drive my self around. I wish I could have went back in the app and taken my tip back.
@Lawrence Hill when your rating drops below the 5.0 you start getting match with passengers with bad ratings that normally make any excuse to get a free ride.
Uber and Lyft wait to process the stars (usually after 5trips) before they add it on. It probably wasn’t the drivers that you thought it was. They do that for retaliation purposes.
I have never done any of these. Couple times “Crap, forgot my wallet.” RAN in and got it. Always tip. Always thank you. Never vomited. Never swore or been rude. Why the hell do I have a 4.75? I’m going to start leaving YOU guys 1 star ratings instead of being nice and all 5 star, and giving you the benefit of the doubt. Also, one of them lied about having my 1 day old phone. Phone was still on, drove an hour and a half to dude’s house. Said I’m not leaving without my phone. Happy to call the cops. Nice neighborhood. His wife brought out 5 phones. “Is it one of these?” 🤬 Respect goes both ways…
You forgot to add a big one. Adding a stop without consulting me, the driver. If it's a liquor store on the way to the house it's fine, but some of them add the return trip even if the trip was 6-7 miles, 25 min. I don't want to go back to the same place, or I don't want to spend another 25 min with you
Love drivers like you. I hear about it from the customers and when I have no issue with added stops (probably because it's our job to take them where they need) I always get a larger tip for not being a whiney bitch.
@@MyXyle666adding a stop without asking, will cancel a fare you've accepted, once you've started the current fare. Which costs us money. And it's not our job to take riders wherever they want to go. If I accept a fare, our agreement is I'll take you to the location(s) initially agreed upon. And if something happens along the way, I can absolutely cancel the fare, even if the rider did nothing wrong (not something you'd want to make a habit of, but that's your right to do so). For example, a rider wants to change & go to an area I'm not comfortable with, or they want to go an hour away from the original destination. We're not obligated to accept those changes
Yep, I've kicked out 6 drunk blokes because they got the address wrong and I wanted to stay in the surge area. Hell no I'm not going 39 mins away from where we first agreed.
I also feel that riders should be REQUIRED to give a valid reason for giving the driver a 1 star!!! I firmly believe that there are riders out there who see that you have a 5 star rating so they purposefully give a 1 star just to reduce your good rating!!!
Right I was rated a 1 for not being ‘polite’. At the time I had a total of 50 rides completed all 5’s with compliments of professionalism and a pleasant ride. The 1 star was bc I didn’t cut through a parking lot & she slammed my door. Of course I gave her a 1, but interestingly I stopped receiving consistent high tips once my 5 star rating dropped … all bc of some temperamental rider
I don't own a smartphone, I have a flip phone and I request Uber rides from their website on my computer before I leave for work, Uber then texts me the driver name and the plate number on my flip phone. One time I got into the uber the driver was telling me I need to give them the pin number for the ride. I told them I didn't get a pin, the driver told me the pin is on the app, I told them I don't have a smartphone, I have a flip phone and that uber just texted me the driver name, type of car and the plate number that was all they didn't text me the pin ( I even showed the driver my phone to prove I didn't have a smartphone) the driver then said that since I didn't have a pin they needed the last four numbers of the phone number so I gave them it. They started the ride and the driver was nice we were chatting in the car and I was respectful didn't do any of those things that was mentioned in the video.. when the driver dropped me off I told them "thank you" and the driver automatically told me they are giving me 3 stars because I didn't have a smartphone, and that caused confusion when I first got in the car and told me I need to update my phone...I wanted to say something to them but I didn't want to cause problems I just got out the car and went in the house. I was fair in my rating I rated the driver 5 stars, but I didn't leave them a tip.....as a frequent uber rider i have over 180 5 star ratings and now this one 3 star rating brought me down to a 4.97
My two worst riders were, a gentleman that had waited an hour for an Uber, and screamed and hollered at me for two blocks, and I finally pulled over and throw them out. Then I had a lady tell me that I didn’t know every street in my town that I shouldn’t be doing the job so I told her if you like the way, I drive there’s the highway and I threw her out.
I have one starred a few people who were picking and biting their nails and then just flicking that shit in my car. Then after I offered them a paper towel to clean up their disgusting skin and nail waste they refused it. I want people to feel comfortable in my car but you're not on your couch at your home. Please act respectfully.
I have all of those and worse, but I have never given a one star to a rider. I do a little verbal jujitsu, they get the point and I move on with my life. I drive days and nights. However, I did cancel a ride for a bad attitude during the pickup.
I am so blessed most of my drivers get my bag out of their trunk for me so I do not have to guess how much force I need to use to close a trunk that is unfamiliar to me. And I tip 25-30%, sometimes more, for all drivers who get my bag for me. 99% help me with my bag.
I'm pretty generous with my five-star ratings, but there's a few things that are an instant one-star for me. My biggest pet peeve is when passengers slam my door. It's totally unnecessary and just pisses me off. Number two is smoking a cigarette (or something else) before getting into my car. I mean, like, right when I pull up, I see them take a drag and then put it out as they get in. I hate the smell, and it's rude.
Slamming a car in most cases is an accident. Relax...if it did not damage your car let it go. If things like that piss you off, you need to find a job that doesn't involve people.
@@wt9767riders associate smells with the driver, not the previous rider. So if you get in my car smelling like smoke, now my car smells like smoke. It could get me a low rating of it's cigarettes, but if it's weed, now I have to spend a few HOURS sitting out my car, or hope the air freshener works, so I don't get reported for smoking weed, and fired. That 💩 absolutely matters, you're playing with people's money & you should control your habit. Junkie
@@kenodonnell4313if enough people slam your door, one could break the window, I've done it & seen it happen. It's not a matter of needing to find different work. If a friend slammed your door enough, you're going to address it. It's a similar situation here. The agreement isn't treat my car like 💩, it's I'll take you from A to B, and leave my car like you found it, or you get a meaningless 1 star rating
I've stopped checking my rating for the last couple of months, because Uber passengers can be two faced a lot of the time. I rate passengers 1 star if they've been disrespectful and 4 stars if they're late, but have been apologetic after for it. People doing this gig are seen as someone not worthy of respect by members of the public in my experience.
1. If they sit directly behind me. 2. If they stank. 3.If they speak to me as if i'm some type of butler or some shit. 4. If they talk too much. 5. If they are staring at my phone. 6. If they are staring at me through my mirror. 7. Requesting stops. 8. Slamming the door. 9. Pinning the the wrong address then coping an attitude because they had to walk. 10. Being amongst a crowd of people upon arrival and not making it known that they are the passenger. As if I know, wtf you look like.
Solid list. #1 is hella problematic. Sit yo goofy @$$ somewhere TF else. Good point #4 do you mean if y'all are having a convo? #6 I feel you, but they might not be staring, they might just be looking ahead & it will look like they're staring #7 are you talking about making changes without asking first? Bc that's an automatic 1 star from me #9 & 10 makes me wanna beat folk up And I would add speakerphone
How do you write them up ? I only see a generic reason why you chose a 1 star rating, but you never get tell your side of the story as to the exact reasons.
I always were 5 stars as a rider for almost 10 years in a hundreds of riding, I always wait at the curb, never made any driver waiting for me, never talk on my phone, so sounds at all, always greetings them and say thank you after a riding is done. Also I always give 5 stars to drivers. Yesterday I requested a Lyft, driver was talking in a cellphone connected to car speaker, so loud using swear words, but I didn't complain, suddenly a heavy rain starts, what make the short riding taking too long. After riding is done, I said thank you and hop off. I rated him 5 stars and all compliments. He gave me a low rate. Why? Because the rain? I didn't control the nature. This pissed me off! I wish I could change my rate for him. Drivers should be more respectful to riders too.
Dude I hate when people get in my car smelling like they just smoked weed. I work for the state and my vehicle is subject to search if the dogs hit my car. It gives me a headache and it’s not hard to put on some cologne before you hop in.
PASSENGERS should be ready when the driver arrives. If you're not ready don't request the ride. Don't request the driver to be quiet, if you don't pay their car note just get where you're going. Don't get in someone's car and don't speak that's rude. You want their help but can't be polite. They don't need your attitude in their car.
No one needs 7 minutes to get to their Uber. I wait 4 minutes and then move on if they have not appeared. Having to wait for another ride should be a lesson to them, but who knows?
I was on my way to pick up a pax about 5:14 this morning. I had an estimated 4 mins to arrive at pickup. I get a message saying, “I need to get there by 5:30. Just giving you a heads up.” I canceled. They should’ve planned ahead.
I get annoyed not mad when they make me wait but when Uber gives me the OK to cancel the ride, I’m on it! Even if I see movement that there finally coming out , I collect my cancellation fee and move on!
Riders who try to be the navigator are the worst. They don't realize or care that you need to take a certain route to make it to the next rider after them. Uber's route planner is pretty good most of the time. If it knows you have another ride waiting on you after the one you're on it will tell you which route to take so you make it to the next rider in time.
@@IvanRubinI agree, that goofy app gives the dumbest directions sometimes. But I also agree with OP, side seat driving, or the "I know a shortcut" crowd, are the worst. Yeah, let's take this shortcut to this secluded area. What's the worst that could happen? 🤣🤣
Mothers with small kids. Had mothers bring kids in onesies, allow them to walk around on my back seat when they've already been walking about in the dirt.
I don’t move my car until a child is buckled in. If they become unbuckled I stop my car. If I have to wait more than a minute for a child to be safely restrained I cancel the ride.
@@majornightmare2 not while driving, this was at destination, Mom standing outside, child walking back and forth on my seat for several minutes, I really wanted to grab that kid but I knew that would be trouble. Had another kid walking about when loading, didn't realized mom had her walking about in the dirt beforehand.
Did you offer anything of value? Of course I love getting tips, but when I get tipped, 99.99999% of the time the only thing I offered was conversation & that was a 2 way street. No one's obligated to tip, we need to be applying pressure to have the companies pay more, not shake regular folk like us down
Hello my name is Brian Campbell I am part time Uber and Lyft driver in atlanta Georgia I have passengers one star rating if they slammed my car door and not allowing to use my gps back seat driver.
The people who literally smell like they haven’t showered in a month and force me to have to drive around with my windows down to air out my car in 5 degree weather! It’s not fun!
Sadly I give almost all of my passengers 5 stars. Not anymore, I am going to start rating them as petty as they rate me. Apparently there are alot of scumbags who just give low ratings to a driver for the fun of it. I wait for at least half of my passengers. I frequently send a message to them saying I have arrived. I occasionally blow the horn. I get alot of passengers who scream into their phone and think nothing of it. I have always given 5 stars to almost all of my passengers, but like I said, I have gotten less then a 5 star rating for reasons unkown to me, except 1 said I was speeding, which I always do 5 mph over the speed limit, and 1 gave ma a 1 star rating for telling me my next stop, but it wasnt in the trip request and since they got rude about it, I simply drove them to the destination in the trip request. I am tired of giving passengers the benefit of the doubt only to have them screw me over by leaving less then 5 star rating for me. I was once told if a driver or a passenger leaves less then 3 star rating, that they will not be paired again in the uber app. Does anyone know if this is true or not ? There are some passengers I would rather not pick up a 2nd or 3rd, etc time.
I totally agreed with you! Uber should giving the riders only 1 minute not 7 minutes. If the riders are not ready they shouldn't press the bottom to order uber
@@DeviIotte Given that OP is taking about riders being ready, how does that apply to drivers messing up? And I know drivers are far from perfect, but I'm asking as it relates to being ready, and specifically with rides, not food delivery
When a person is sucking the last hits off his cigarette as if it's life-sustaining, while he's opening my car door, then gets in and reeks out my car. 1 Star!
If I see you smoking when I pull up, I'll confirm you're the right rider, then let you know I have to cancel bc of the smoke. If your car looks like it could be a rental, you could tell em that you'll get hit with cleaning fees, to minimize confrontation
The noise in the back seat I dont mind. Being late is common, People seem to think that we are their "slaves". We are to sit, waiting patiently. They are shocked when they learn they have to PAY us to wait there. I informed a few, asking.. Did you know you pay for me to wait for you? They were like NO! when did that start? I said after the 1st 2 mins. Then they think I am charging them, but I informed them that Uber does this and its automated. I am a night driver.. I had a Barracha in my car, her bf gave me a nice tip, said get her home safely. I told him I would do that. she was quite subdued for a while, then suddenly after I got on the freeway, she took off the seatbelt and nearly cracked the window by hitting it so hard. She started yelling me to slow down. I told her I cant, am on the freeway. She threatened to punch me in the face if I didnt. I speak spanish fluently so I was telling her to calm down, I would get her home safely. That made her even more angry. How dare a white lady speak spanish to her? she called me a "Fake Mexican" repeatedly. I finally did get her to her home but she didnt want to get out of the car. I told her I cant take her to my house, she must get out. She told me get out.I did. I took my purse, keys and phone and dialed 911. I showed her this.. she finally got out. but not without making a mess, smashing food all over the backseat. I filed a police report and contacted Uber. I got a $40 clean up fee..
I'm sorry about your experience. Being "borracho" is no excuse for being a "puta"! That ride should have been canceled. I hope you got a fat tip from that schmuck who dumped his date/girlfriend on you.
@@bcandyolsen8077 Thank you! He gave me a $10 bill after he seat belted her in. I got a $40 clean up fee from Uber plust the ride fare, so a total of about $60. I did fear for my life while on the freeway.. If she had punched me, I could have lost control of the vehicle. The thing is tho, how I am with my riders.. I dont want to drop a very drunk female off randomly. She could get abused or raped. I agree that they dont need to be putas! I have had many drunk people in my car that were just grateful to get a safe ride home.
Good point on those that don't say thanks on the way out of the car. Anybody starts bitching about me as a driver would be slammed on the breaks, pulled over to the side and I would loudly tell her to GTFO NOW!
Does Uber do that? I know Lyft will unmatch me when I rate 3* or below; however, I think we drivers have to request to be unpaired from Uber passengers.
Driver in Las Vegas 1. Rude 2. Slamming trunk or door 3. Leaving candy wrappers and the such on the seats and floor 4. Trying to ride without a car seat for your baby 5. Parents calling cars for a minor child 6. Not putting the correct drop off location and expecting me to take them without changing it in the app 7. No gate code 8. Non service animals 9. Talking in a sexual manner towards me 10. Telling me how to drive Vegas is total trash
I'm in the Bay and I've experienced all of those except #4 - I'll cancel #6 - after I verify who they are (which I always do before letting them in), I always verify where we're going #8 - you can legally ask these 2 questions 1) is the dog a service animal, required because of a disability? (The ADA indicates that as a rule only dogs or miniature horse can be service animals) 2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? #9 - I'ma handsome dude, sexy even & no one objectifies me 😡 jk, if you're a woman, I know that can be creepy AF #10 - I've had people try to tell me what route to take, but if they wanna critique my driving, they can walk
You want to get a one star from me? I’ll tell you how. You live at the end of a long, dark, country road. I finally arrive at your location, there’s not another house or soul around. You see my car, you see me, you can see my license plate, and you still have the audacity to snottily ask me, “ who are you picking up?”. Who the hell ya think I’m picking up? You think some random axe murderer knew you were at the end of this road, and purposely came out here to get you? Please, don’t take yourself so seriously. 1 star, or better yet, I tell them I’m for someone with a different name, they say it’s not them, and I say, “ oh well, see ya!” Have a nice time waiting a half hour for another driver.
1.People who put out a cigarette just before getting in my truck smelling like an ashtray. 2. People with poor hygiene. I don't allow people to eat in my truck at all. If they refuse to listen I pull over and cancel the ride. I do not care about my cancelation ratio.
If I see they're smoking when I pull up, I confirm that they're the rider, then I tell em I have to cancel, bc of the smoke. And I confirm EVERY rider, before I unlock my door. So they never get in, they can't give me a bogus rating, bc the ride never happened & I call/email driver support & let em know what happened. And if they get in smelling like smoke, but your car looks like it could be a rental (or is a rental) diffuse it by telling them the smoke will get you hit with a cleaning fee & cancel before starting the ride
I hear ya! I have gotten sick from infected passengers. Picked up a woman from a hospital who described her ordeal at the hospital for the last few hours. Then, as the ride is about to end, she announces that she will get her COVID test results in a few days. I wanted to bludgeon her right there and THEN! I am so glad her health and well being were much more important than that of mine, my family and anyone else who would be getting in the vehicle after her!
You're way more forgiving than I am. Despite the fact that I have a 4.96 rating, I have been burned and stiffed on tips more times than I can count. People ask all the time for special favors, and always promise to "get me on the tip", I do the favor and then they stiff me, so I give out one star ratings like it's cool. You're either getting a 5 or a 1 in my car.
@@Sarahizahhsum you are absolutely right! In most matters of life I too take the "it's nuanced" approach, BUT I'm also a big believer in getting what you deserve. I mentioned earlier that I have a 2.96 driver rating... Guess what that consists of.. I have 262 5 star ratings and 2 1 star ratings... Riders see me in black and white so I return the favor.
If someone says to me they will give me a big tip on the app, I assume at that point, I'm not getting a tip at all. People lie...don't put that expectation on them, then you won't be disappointed when it doesn't happen.
If it's something I'm expecting payment for (e.g. I had a guy ask me to take him to in & out on a sat night & wait) I tell them cash or cashapp. I don't trust them to tip in the app. And if there are multiple riders & they ask me to drop someone off at a different place, I Google the address & if it's farther than they indicated (it ALWAYS is), same rules apply, or add the stop
The worst 1 star passenger was a family who got off at the airport and I had to take them to the border of Mexico. It was some Dad, Mom, and her 2 kids. Their kids cried the whole time. The line for the border was backed up about 2 miles due to the holidays. The lady asked if I could go off road into a ditch, go around the line, and cut back in. I said no and that this wasn't an off road vehicle. She continued to asked the SAME question another 4+ times. I told her NO then I eventually stopped answering her. She continued to ask if I would drive off road and to the border. She then said, "Since you didn't answer I can assume." I said their ride ended and put their stuff on the sidewalk. The guy started loading it back up. So I sat there till they got out and walked with some family down to the border. The guy waved me over before they left and said if his kids weren't there that he'd tone me up because I disrespected them. I laughed in his face and walked off. Buddy you aren't the victim here. You're weird wife asking me to ruin my city car to cut in front of people, in an area known for gun violence, to get you all across the border sooner is beyond unreasonable.
College kids on Mill Ave in Tempe. Always theres 1 who's super drunk, & its their birthday. All six pile in my Dodge Grand Caravan, no problem. Ive had to pull over so the birthday girl can hurl... ive had Scottsdale college kids leave a piece of gum on the most rear seat. Who does that! Like you didnt know while talking that the gum left your mouth? Sheesh!
I had a lady get in my car the ride was only a mile.. she shut the ride down and refused to get out of my car. She said if I didn't take her she would call police. It was so short I just took her.. lyft gave me 2 stinking dollars for my trouble.
Food in the vehicle, absolutely not! I've been burned too many times, people are too disrespectful. You want to eat go to the restaurant and eat but you're not eating in my car. Alcohol absolutely not This is not a limousine I don't have a license for that. The worst one star was a young lady my last ride of the night, they gave me $100 tip to wait on her because she was waiting on food. She did not eat my car however she was so drunk, that I offered if she was feeling sick that I would pull over for her. She thought she was going to be slick and hang her head out the window by the time I realized what was happening there was puke inside the car on the wall on the ceiling on the floor on the back seats, on the rear lift gate, this is a third row.
Recently got fired from Uber cuz some woman gave me a one star rating and said I made comments that made her uncomfortable when we were talking about pets and cat food...woke up the next morning mad and 😢 cuz they didn't even try to investigate my side of the story and when I gave them the story and asked for what was the disparaging comment I was rewarded with crickets. I later learned that customers can claim a refund of their trip if they review bomb you and it fell under harassment...
Did you have a dash cam video proof? It sucks that it comes to that but I installed one the first week I started and it’s come in handy a few times since I started driving.
I drive nights, I suggest you never drive nights. All these things are common practice for night riders. As long as you don't slam my door or be outright disrespectful. You're getting a 5 star. I also smoke in my car so I let passengers smoke/vape in my car. I also let people eat in my car as long as they attempt to clean it or throw me some cash for the vacuum. Mostly tweekers get 1 star so I don't get them again.
I’ve been driving Lyft for two months, and I’ve only had to decouple myself from two riders. The first one was because he smelled like he hadn’t showered since pre-Covid. The other was because he wouldn’t put on a seatbelt after I asked him twice.
Actually the mistake was starting the ride before they put on the seat belt. I won't even start the ride until they put it on, not just bc if I get stopped, I can get a ticket bc they're not wearing it, but if I have to slam on the brakes & they get hurt, I'm liable. So if they're BSing with the seatbelt or they give pushback, I cancel & they can't give me a bogus rating
I have one starred for alot of the same stuff. But this work has definitely taught me that I'm not gonna like every rider so I really enjoy the ones I do. And most of the stuff that used to bother me is now not a big deal compared to the truly scary moments with unstable people. A mess with a good chat is nothing.
You don't have to take pets or support animals. You are legally obligated to take service animals. But you can ask these 2 questions 1) is the dog a service animal, required because of a disability? (The ADA indicates that as a rule only dogs or miniature horse can be service animals) 2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
I rated a passenger 3 stars and I was being generous. He was late about 10 minutes, but since we were out in the middle of nowhere, I decided to wait. He was rude, never addressed me (hello, thankyou, etc.). And I also assume he gave me 1 star for 'ignoring requests." I think I will be less generous from now on.
Unless it's a really good fare, I don't wait past the 2 min. Even if they text me & say they're coming, I don't respond & once that 2 min hits, I bounce
I had an Uber passenger that I picked up at the airport. Before she got into the car she screamed and hollered about the price of the Uber ride. Then she got into the car and refused to wear her seatbelt. I had my limit so I kicked her out, cancelled the ride and reported her to Uber for her behavior.
I got a request for a ride today I noticed they had a 4.45 rating I don't know but just to be a driver you have to have at least a 4.6 I'm thinking they need to be deactivated
Hey folks! 👋 UberX/EATS driver here. I have to say this guy's 1 ⭐ rules are, Imo, pretty damn bougie. Personally, I have only given like 3 passengers a 1 ⭐ rating out of over 500 lifetime trips. First, with the headphones rule, dude, not everyone has headphones with them at the time they order a ride. There are so many reasons why (I.E. lost, dead, or recently broken, and just haven't had a chance to replace yet) So, this just seems really judgmental, and an unreasonable expectation. Also, sometimes people need their volume loud because they may have hearing trouble (not just old people have this problem) If they want to have a conversation on speaker phone, or play videos on their phones, to distract them for the ride it's their prerogative to do so! It's pretty messed up to 1 ⭐ someone for that. About eating food and feeling like you're basically entitled to a "thank you" by every passenger. I mean, yeah they are in YOUR car, with a service YOU provided, but they paid for those services with THEIR money. It's not their obligation to speak to you. They may not feel well, or are pondering some life events they are dealing with and just not thinking about it. Dude, nobody is perfect people make mistakes. My job is to provide a service. Get people from A to B. If they are snacking and forgot something in the car (left a mess) It's MY obligation to keep my car looking presentable not my passengers. Ues, they should respect your property and try not to spill/leave trash, but accidents happen. I don't think accidents should be 1 ⭐ed. Maybe 3 or 4 but not 1. The ONLY reason for someone to get a 1 ⭐ in my car is, you have to be downright just plain mean and disrespectful, like name calling, yelling etc. Imo, you just seem to be micromanaging your passengers.
Bruuhh I can't believe so many people have these weird ass car rules! Like, seriously? No singing loud? TF?!🤨 Like, is it really that bad for people to have a little fun during their, otherwise monotonously quiet, car ride? Shit I'll sing loud with you! Another one, adding extra stops "without consulting the driver." Like, again, seriously?! You are getting paid to drive them! The app gives them the option for a reason! Drive people places, that's what you signed up for! If they add a stop mid trip, and its going to put you out of your way, or interfere with your schedule, you can just cancel the trip with them and let them get a different driver.. It's not like you are required to accept a ride or even mandated by the company to complete every ride 'without exception'. That is literally why that red button is there! 🙄
The problem with adding stops without asking first is, I might have accepted another fare after they've gotten in the car. A fare that might pay really well and/or take me to an area I want to go to (either home or a busy area). But once they make that change, it cancels the fare I just accepted, costing me money. And the agreement is, I take you from the point A to point B you originally specified. If you want to change, that might be cool, but it's common courtesy to ask before you do it. I've never had a problem with singing out loud tho
Vaping, not even asking first. Smoking just before you enter the car, the weed smell. 1 star. You leave these Odors in the car, the next passenger will think I smoked in the car. I clean my car everyday to provide a pleasant ride to everyone irregardless of demographics. Just be clean n decent.
I agree with you on all your reasons and have had all those happen. I've had people wait til I arrive then call me and tell me they don't want the ride and say just cancel it.
I tell them they have to cancel on their end or I’ll have to wait the 5-7 minutes to get a cancellation fee. I refuse to mess up my stats because they decided they didn’t want a ride when I get there.
I don't have a problem with alcohol & pot users, but I've had to stop driving cause it comes out of their pores & the smell lingers. I don't want to get accused of using when the passenger is toasted
@@Lmb-ls5ylthe weed smell tends to linger, even with sprays. But if your car looks like it could be a rental, tell em you can't take them, bc the rental company will charge you a cleaning fee, bc of the smell. It diffuses tension & gets them out, so less time to air out
I can understand all of those annoying situations and I myself have experienced all of those things including a shrieking baby... Like one of those decibels that makes you wish you had construction site ear covers of some sort. The sudden vaping smell or the weed smell or late getting into the car and then you get the heavy weed smell. But my thing is that because I am in an area where sometimes the ride or very scarce it is hard to reject a lot of the rides for fear of not being able to make certain bonuses or Quests in those times when I really need that one or two more passengers to fill the gap.
Nobody eats in my car, and drinks without lids do not come in my car unless it's water. No dogs EVER come in my car unless they have one of those dog bag things or a kennel.
I feel you, but I don't allow any drinks without lids. Too many potholes/rough roads to trust their ability to not spill. Plus, in Cali I can get a ticket if I get stopped & they have booze (even with an active fare), and I'm not smelling/sipping drinks to verify
My worst: guy gets in front seat…with a pillow. Seriously thinking this guy was going to smother me. When we get to his destination, he’s hesitant to go in, giving off total creepy vibes. I felt like he was calling some young girl to make sure her parents weren’t there. Then he gets out of the car and I drive off…and his phone starts to ring. Every time I answer it they hang up without saying anything, and then the phone started to be tracked. Hell no.
In Cali it's 7 total minutes once you arrive. You can cancel after 2 min with no penalty (or cancel fee), or you can wait the extra 5 min & possibly get the cancel fee. Unless it's a really good fare, I leave after 2 min
I'm totally new to Uber (as a rider) and recently had to take it several times to drop off and pick up my car from a nearby car repair shop. However, I know a lady who does not drive and would like to use Uber to do her shopping. So I have some questions. Would it be possible for her to deal with just ONE uber driver during the whole trip? He'd have to pick her up from home, take her to the store, wait for her for about 30 minutes while she's shopping, then help her load her car and drive her home? Or she should get a ride to the grocery store, do her shopping and then get another Uber ride? I remember that some taxi drivers were quite happy to wait for their fares as they were shopping or having dinner--after all, they WERE paid for the wait time. What about Uber? Are they paid for such a wait time? Is it possible to somehow communicate the situation with the driver before the ride? I'd appreciate your comments.
I can't believe nobody has said this. No tip = 1 star. I never want to drive you again of you don't think this luxury service isn't worth a tip. Especially with rideshare companies pocketing 50+ percent of the fare
I vehemently disagree. For starters, you have to rate them when the ride ends, so they might not have had time to leave a tip. But more importantly, we agree to take them for the fare presented (provided you have upfront fares), if they tip cool, if they don't, also cool. We should be taking pay issues up with the companies, not the riders. We should also be getting riders involved in these goofy strikes, so maybe they might have some actual bite & they start paying better
@@saucecastillo460 That's correct for Uber. I don't drive for either of them anymore, total waste of time and no $$. When I drove for Lyft, we had up to 24 hours to rate the pax. I did it to kill time since I had lots of time while day trading stocks. Was mostly fun a couple of hrs a day her & there. I laugh at what they pay now. Its been a hard journey day trading for a few years, but now I'm making more in a month than what a full time driver can make in a year!! Start learning stocks and you'll see!
Leaving dog hairs. Smoking blunts before getting in car. I get contact high. Leaving window open without closing. Some folks having bad days. Others have character issues.
I think some of them are just grumpy because I received 4 one star ratings for no reason. I’m always on time, say hello and thank you, am quiet and don’t talk on the phone, etc. Makes me not want to tip any of them if they’re just gonna rate me one star in exchange.
Worse passenger was a guy who kept yelling at the woman he was with. Smelled like trash. And asked me if I could drive him to a location about 70 miles from the drop off after dropping off the woman at the booked drop off location. Still rated her 5 star since was her account but I was never happier to get a guy out of my car.
Very stressful and dangerous job definitely in Baltimore. I’m Uber driver from 2012 and your points are pretty same as mine:disrespectful and not enough attention to my clean car.Recently one of them came to my car in painters uniform and couldn’t understand why his ride was cancelled by me.People coming and living car without Hi or thank you, loud music, conversation like in a kitchen with many unacceptable words definitely bad manners. The worst of them are requesting pic up in unsafe place, open doors on wrong side of the road with one way street and terrible relationships between people behind me.
Riders can give any rating they want, even if it's not true. Also, ratings don't expire after 24hrs. Rating drop off as new ratings come in, and it's based on your last 500 rides. So if a rider gave you 1 star 100 rides ago, that's going to be there until you get 400 ratings better than 1 star. And remember, riders aren't obligated to rate drivers, so you could do 500 rides in a month & your rating could still be in the tank, bc riders aren't rating you. If you have good rides, you could ask them to rate you, just to make sure that bad ratings go away, but it's up to them
Stupidest, most worthless, most toxic system I've ever taken part in. neither the driver nor the passenger has any idea who gave them a low rating or why they even got a low rating. Totally arbitrary and completely worthless system just adding to the toxicity that is Uber.
I feel you, and even though they'll never change either rating system (driver or rider), it'd be dope if they replaced the rider ratings, with tags. So I finish the ride, and if there were no issues, I'm on to the next ride, but if there were issues, I could click late, speakerphone, spills, smells (bo, cigs, weed), argumentative, etc. So when that rider's request goes out, we'll see they're late, they smell, etc, which takes the guesswork out, bc I've had sub 4.5 riders, that were the best. And I've had 4.9+ riders that were the worst
I’ve been a Lyft driver for 6.5 years now and it’s just a side gig for me…I do agree with ALL of your points. I have to add on the Noise…it’s almost or even worse when there is two or three people in my back seat and talking so loud like they are at an arena for a hockey game, or concert. So far I have yet to have a passenger in my car get out and not say Thank You (I hope that it doesn’t happen, because YES they will get a one ⭐️
I never answer the phone. If they can't figure it out looking at the app then somethings wrong. Plus they always the one not ready anyway so why you need to know where I'm at!
Sometimes that can be helpful. I had a ride in a shopping area & the rider was 1.5 blocks away from where the app said. That's not far so I go to where they are & it eliminates wait time. I've also had riders in the same situation, that see they should inform me of their actual location, but don't, then get aggy when I'm waiting where I'm supposed to be
Some criterion I use is overall attitude, but honestly it’s before they even get in the car. I can tell if a customer is not going to be worth picking up again. One thing that especially bothers me is when a customer doesn’t report the size of their party. Yes I may have 4 seats but I want to be able to manage my expectations and Uber doesn’t require this so it’s up to the customer to be transparent, they can disclose pax but they usually don’t think of it.
I get what you're saying, but that doesn't bother me. I can take 4, if some/all of those 4 are big, either we make it work, or they can call an XL. But I won't take 5+, bc I'm extra strict on seatbelt usage
My worst 1* was a COVID denyer that cut in to me when we were still supposed to wear masks. He got almost violent and I had to use the emergency button. Super scary!
When i book rides on the UberEats app, it doesn’t give me the option to tip the driver when the ride is over. That’s probably one of the reasons you dont see tips. You need to complain to corporate for them to allow tips on the UberEats app! 🤷🏻♀️
I tell you one of the most annoying and awkward things is when passengers don't say anything at all the whole trip. Don't even knowledge me when I ask how there day is when they 1st enter my car. Had 1 person who had a 2 week old puppy that I allowed in my car and besides asking if bringing the dog is ok there was no word from the passenger the whole 45 min trip. It was quite most of the trip. Midway through the ride I ask how she was doing to check on her. No response. After the ride I notice the passenger 1 star me for "Talking Too Much". The audacity of her doing that despite I allowed her puppy to come on a Uber X ride.
@Marisela48 I can tell they rating me bad because I check my ratings constantly and they always go down when someone rates a 1 star. Plus that trip was before I even reached 500 ratings.
Someone rated me a 4, stating "Talking to much". Which is some BS because I'm an introvert & NEVER start conversations. I may say "have a nice day" and that's it. The rating system is not accurate, highly subjective and biased most of the time.
Silence can be awkward, but it doesn't really bother me. The only time they have to talk to me is, to confirm they're the right person before I let them in, and confirm their dropoff, so no time is wasted taking them to the wrong place. If they ignore/don't hear how are you doing? (Which I always ask) That's cool. I always have music playing
@@saucecastillo460 It is a little awkward when they quite the whole time. Sometimes I do prefer that if I am not having a good day. Better then being loud drunk the entire trip with 4 passengers.
I feel like some grace should be given for hotel/airport pickup. It’s unfamiliar area. I had no idea there was a specific area for Uber/lyft until I called driver and he cancelled on me because he never called me and it showed he was there while there were so many cars coming and going
I’m able to tolerate all of that and I think that one star is a little extreme. But I will give a one star for people that slam my doors or leave a mess. I can’t really think of any other reason.
What hurts more 1 star or a 2 star rating? I hurs 2 star hurts more because a 2 star rating throws off the rating system more than a one star. I'm not sure if that's true or not.
I'm a driver and when they on their phone it don't bother me. They are paying for a ride they can listen whatever they want. You might what a different job.
Be on your phone all day, I don't care, but speakerphone gets you 1 star. Nobody likes speakerphone, it's rude, you should've brought your headphones & you get rated accordingly.

The thing that gets a one star from me everytime is when people act like I'm a lowly driver. I am a stranger who's come to do something nice for you!!! DO NOT ACT LIKE YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME!
Riders who eat, attempt to vape, don't speak, act entitled and slam my door.
You forgot those who don’t give out the gate code
If I get there and it's a gate code but they didn't put it in the notes, unless it's a high paying ride, I cancel and go
That's automatically cancellation
You all need thicker skin. Make customers happy and you will be successful in life. This is true in every aspect of life.
@Michael Pfeffer Waiting for someone that doesn't respect their drivers time isn't going to make you successful. Canceling the ride and picking up a respectful person will!
I hate that!

1. Vomiting 🤮
2. Vaping 💨
3. Red solo cups of booze
4. Yelling out the window

9. Going way off GPS route
10. Singing out loud, drunk obnoxious behavior.

I thought vaping and smoking in there car can get them banned from the app!
@truckeronabudget.8713 I let them Vape in my car. That way I can 😂
@@chris.coffin I understand your car but in the tos it says that a passenger can be banned from the app for doing that.
Him: Silent
Needles to say he is no longer on the Uber Platform. They banned him when i reported the issue.
Ive given over 25,500 Rides and can count on one hand my bad experiences.
How do you know they were banned

@@chris.coffin oh easy enough lol
Did you send the a video of it? Because they usually don't believe drivers..
New email new account thats it.
There you go. That's exactly it.
the dude in this interview attitude gives me unhappy vibes with the way he is talking. the way he got angry because of the dog hair and not even caring if a person was late to the curb and still apologetic knowing it was their fault is just silly.
I understand a rider might not be familiar with the airport, but I see it everyday, so calling or picking up when I call wouldn't affect your rating with me
You sound like a good passenger..you are not a bad passenger
Uber use to be 3 minutes. Then 5, now 7 minutes. If we don't complain it will be 10 minutes soon.
ABSOLUTELY NO EATING OR PETS IN MY CAR. PERIOD!!!
@gondola8539 Pets. Period.
Still 5 minutes in my market
@gondola8539f you do that you don’t get paid the cancellation fee. You literally just drove to the pickup for free. Uber has started offering more pay if you wait past the 7 minutes
@gondola8539 it’s about the same as a base fare and if you have to wait for three or four rides in a day it adds up. But it sounds like you like driving around without getting paid🤣
What do u do about the service animals?
I leaned not to take an Uber while in Atlanta. My 5-star streak was ruined during a weekend get away. One Uber driver gave 1 star and the other gave 2. They didn’t have to wait, we track them in the app and wait outside as they pull up, no food, no unwanted dialogue AND they got at tip (in the app). Next time I’m in ATL, I’ll drive my self around. I wish I could have went back in the app and taken my tip back.
Don't feel bad passengers do the same thing to five star drivers just to be funny!
5 stars is no big deal. It does not mean any of any real consequence
It is a big deal, actually. You can get your driver account blocked 😑
Pax wait time is by far the #1 issue that will piss off a driver and impact their hourly earnings. BE READY FOR YOUR DRIVER.
It works both ways
@@joanneomelina2091how?
“Is it one of these?” 🤬
Respect goes both ways…
You forgot to add a big one. Adding a stop without consulting me, the driver. If it's a liquor store on the way to the house it's fine, but some of them add the return trip even if the trip was 6-7 miles, 25 min. I don't want to go back to the same place, or I don't want to spend another 25 min with you
Love drivers like you. I hear about it from the customers and when I have no issue with added stops (probably because it's our job to take them where they need) I always get a larger tip for not being a whiney bitch.
@@MyXyle666 I dont know about you, but I drive to get paid. If you want to give free rides and make free stops, then who is the bitch ?
You are better than me. I will cancel the ride if a customer ad a stop without asking.
So should drivers
Right I was rated a 1 for not being ‘polite’. At the time I had a total of 50 rides completed all 5’s with compliments of professionalism and a pleasant ride. The 1 star was bc I didn’t cut through a parking lot & she slammed my door. Of course I gave her a 1, but interestingly I stopped receiving consistent high tips once my 5 star rating dropped … all bc of some temperamental rider
Definitely, I can almost tell by their sarcastic remarks.
I have all of those and worse, but I have never given a one star to a rider. I do a little verbal jujitsu, they get the point and I move on with my life. I drive days and nights. However, I did cancel a ride for a bad attitude during the pickup.
My car is not a picnic table
Amen 😅
Stop slamming my trunk 😡
Fact
And my doors
I dont have the muscle control. Its either gonna be almost closed or the former.
Or don't push/pull on an automatic trunk
I am so blessed most of my drivers get my bag out of their trunk for me so I do not have to guess how much force I need to use to close a trunk that is unfamiliar to me. And I tip 25-30%, sometimes more, for all drivers who get my bag for me. 99% help me with my bag.
I forgot to add this gem….
Calling Uber and Lyft to show up at the same time, double booking is a trash move

@@kenodonnell4313 I can usually let the door slam go, but the cigarette thing is just gross.
@@pbiasizzo People smoke. They're not smoking in your car. Like ken said, get over it or find a new vocation. You drive others for a living.
Leaving my charging cable on the floor instead of putting it back on the hook they got it from is an instant 1 star.
Thanks!
Good point
#4 do you mean if y'all are having a convo?
#6 I feel you, but they might not be staring, they might just be looking ahead & it will look like they're staring
#7 are you talking about making changes without asking first? Bc that's an automatic 1 star from me
#9 & 10 makes me wanna beat folk up
And I would add speakerphone
Had someone creepily stare at me once through the rearview mirror and he tipped me $5 for a 2 mile trip. So weird
If a passenger shows any hint that they are a problem, 1 star and a write up. It's preemptive. So when they rate me down, the bosses know what's up.
@Marisela48 nice! Entitled bougie people need to have respect for those whose services they use!
I would love after passenger takes 7 minutes to come out to just sit in the car for 7 for minutes so they understand how annoying it is.
I get annoyed not mad when they make me wait but when Uber gives me the OK to cancel the ride, I’m on it! Even if I see movement that there finally coming out , I collect my cancellation fee and move on!
Your crazy I call Uber as I’m leaving my apt and it says driver will be here in 5 min and it’s one minute
Lol not true at all ! I live in LA and during heavy traffic the gps always takes the longest and worst streets!

Mothers with small kids. Had mothers bring kids in onesies, allow them to walk around on my back seat when they've already been walking about in the dirt.

Hello my name is Brian Campbell I am part time Uber and Lyft driver in atlanta Georgia I have passengers one star rating if they slammed my car door and not allowing to use my gps back seat driver.
I try my best, but for alot of these situations i usually haven't given below a 3. Hygiene is a big one I give lower rating for.
Sure but the drivers mess up they deserve 1 star too. Esp Uber Eats which is trash.

Does Uber do that? I know Lyft will unmatch me when I rate 3* or below; however, I think we drivers have to request to be unpaired from Uber passengers.
Uber doesn't do that. You have to specifically let driver support know you don't want to be matched with that person again

And if they get in smelling like smoke, but your car looks like it could be a rental (or is a rental) diffuse it by telling them the smoke will get you hit with a cleaning fee & cancel before starting the ride
Sick sneezing, coughing 🤧 passengers, stay home!
The amount of animals I pickup who don't cover their mouths when yawning, coughing, sneezing is astonishing
I agree on the famous "I'll get you on the app" and if it's not a five it's a one for me too. I hope you have a great day.
5 or 1? Thats very black and white. The world has nuance!

You can give a 1 star & still get that same rider. You have to let driver support know you don't want to be matched with them
I’ve been driving Lyft for two months, and I’ve only had to decouple myself from two riders. The first one was because he smelled like he hadn’t showered since pre-Covid. The other was because he wouldn’t put on a seatbelt after I asked him twice.
thats your first mistake- driving for Lyft ! Uber is a much better platform, but the lyft app is terrible and I quit driving for them 2 yrs ago !
I never thought about rating 1 star for a few of those reasons. Thanks.
I will go out of my way to avoid passengers with mutts!!!

2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

@@saucecastillo460 Uber has been ripping off their drivers. I quit and went to DoorDash. Was worth the switch.
I will always give a 1 star for late pickups also I will not tolerate a disrespectful rider they will get cancelled and left behind.
Some of these things are just petty my guy to give them 1 star
Yeah, the last one is a little brittle. You don't owe me any kind of thanks. I do this for money, not thanks
I don't have a problem with alcohol & pot users, but I've had to stop driving cause it comes out of their pores & the smell lingers. I don't want to get accused of using when the passenger is toasted
I keep Febreeze & a can of Lysol in my car for stinky passengers, no lie! 😂
💯 on all of these. Ironic how much better behaved Pax are when the fare price was higher. It's easy to be respectful.
Most of my low rating rides are for late for pick up
Nobody eats in my car, and drinks without lids do not come in my car unless it's water.
I got 3 one star two of them telling customers not to slam my door loud and the other idk wtf I did
My worst: guy gets in front seat…with a pillow. Hell no.
Just one thing on the wait time, it may be different in your market, but it is 2 free minutes and then 3 paid for the Phoenix market.
Used to be 5 in NJ but changed to 2 and then 5 more. I was shocked. Check it out.
No uber driver that respects his or her ride lets any rider eat in their car. Many reasons for this that should not need to be explained.
No tip, No trip!
I'm agree with you all 100 percent. The only thing is I'm afraid this kind of people never understand and connect why they get 1 star.
But what if a rider rates you a 1 star right back? Can they do that?
Just wait until a few minutes before the 24 hour period for rating expires
Riders can give any rating they want, even if it's not true. Also, ratings don't expire after 24hrs. Rating drop off as new ratings come in, and it's based on your last 500 rides.
So if a rider gave you 1 star 100 rides ago, that's going to be there until you get 400 ratings better than 1 star. And remember, riders aren't obligated to rate drivers, so you could do 500 rides in a month & your rating could still be in the tank, bc riders aren't rating you.
If you have good rides, you could ask them to rate you, just to make sure that bad ratings go away, but it's up to them
Instant 1 star is someone that takes longer to come out then it would take to drive them to their destination!
Many passenger feel they are entitled to free rides and they own the car that you have. Not sure where this mentality comes from.
Don't forget those people that ordered a ride and then want to call you to tell you where they are while your driving.
I've also had riders in the same situation, that see they should inform me of their actual location, but don't, then get aggy when I'm waiting where I'm supposed to be
No eating in the car… period!!! No Vaping!!!
@Lmb-ls5yl currently have 3 reports of "talking too much".
What about when the Uber driver is playing music or talking on the car Bluetooth speaker phone?
Good points! Thanks.
My worst passenger gave me a 1 cent tip I gave her a 1 star rating
What hurts more 1 star or a 2 star rating? I hurs 2 star hurts more because a 2 star rating throws off the rating system more than a one star. I'm not sure if that's true or not.
I'm a driver and when they on their phone it don't bother me. They are paying for a ride they can listen whatever they want. You might what a different job.
Be on your phone all day, I don't care, but speakerphone gets you 1 star. Nobody likes speakerphone, it's rude, you should've brought your headphones & you get rated accordingly.
