Inspired by the Engl Savage 120, the Eagle's Heart packs a lot of punch for something that will fit into the palm of your hand. It has a ton of attitude and stand up next to the big boys in the recording studio. Big things, small packages, etc. Rock on!
this one might sound tighter with a bit of tube screamer. Thanks for the review. I think you are the first to do a real review of this amp.
I have this amp and have a video on my channel. It is darker voicing. I play it through a V30 412. I also boost it with an OD pedal and it gets very tight and sounds great.
@@Van020280 Awesome. I will check it out, thanks.
@@Van020280Do these amp heads make any sound when not connected to a cabinet speaker? Cheers
@@keithb5612 No, but there is a headphone jack.
Nice series to start 2019 with. Which reminds me, Happy New Year Brett!
Great Mid-range sound!!
Thats what i hear. Sort of like a orange micro dark with the tone shape dialed back to about 1/3.
Can you do another demo with this amp but with a clean tube screamer to tighten the bottom and a much lower gain setting? Those hotone amps seem to have more gain then most metal heads need. It looks to me that setting the gain knob to 11 o'clock is already too much.
Happy New Year Brett. What’s the red multi effects pedal behind you??
How would that sound with a 7 string? Jeff Loomis tones maybe?
Awesome r you using a ns pedal no noise I just ordered one I like it the best of all of them ver round sound
this amp might also sound better with a brighter speaker
Hey.... your KNOBS are different then on MY Wolfgang!!! LOL
I think that is a music man axis and not an evh Wolfgang
I pronounce it as "Hot One"... :-)
I prefer "Ho Tone"
@@joebodynobody764 definitely Ho Tone. Sound like a ho - with Ho Tone
@@joebodynobody764 Sound like a Ho - with Ho tone!❤
Sounds great, but you are miked, I mean how does it sound in real life, how much can a 5w solid state amp really do ? I think it probably sounds like an ant's fart even at bedroom levels.
Well it depends on what you want it for I guess. You can have it on top of a cab up to 16ohms which woukd be enough for some.
Or you could have it running through PA with a mic. You could also have it with an audio interface for recording or headphones for practice
No, I just recorded with a Heart Attack on Garageband. Sounds freaking awesome
Hobbage
sounds too mushy ,flubby on the low end for heavy rhythm metal its designed for
