Man your substitutions to reduce weight and provide versatility are so clever
Thanks !
love the uniqlo heat tech shirt!! i can’t wait to try out the other products u suggested
Yea its amazing when it’s cold out
THis really inspired me to review my packing list and cut more things, thank you!
Awesome !
Nice inspiration, will use part of it for upcoming business trip to US
Thanks !
I love linen pants as well
Yea they are a game changer
Thanks for the helpful content 👍 How often would you aim to do laundry with this setup?
Usually every 4-5 days. Depends how much walking I do and if its hot out. Usually, once I run out of socks for example, I would just wash those in the sink. Boxers and socks are super easy to wash, shirts and pants a bit more time consuming so I'll do less frequently.
Hey there! Just wondering if you had your trip yet and if so, anything you'd change about your loadout =)
One thing I recently switched to is a linen towel instead of a microfibre one. It’s just as packable and the linen is way better at drying me off.
Are the Smartwool boxers too warm? I feel like wool in temps above about 75 might get hot.
No they are pretty breathable. They are as good in heat as any other boxers I’ve owned
Hey Man
I'm probably bring a 40l backpack to japan with a small personal item as a day bag. I was going to bring luggage as I do want to bring back souvenirs. I've decided against the luggage just to keep things simple. Do you ever struggle bringing back items at 25L?
Yea I don’t usually bring much back. I do bring a 15-20l packable backpack from Osprey as well so I can carry stuff in there if I bring anything back
Thanks for ur video. Can u advise a budget good ski jacket? Is Columbia fine?
Are you using it for downhill skiing? Generally a Columbia jacket will do just fine unless you are doing something that requires specialized equipment.
@WillFaulkner thanks for ur reply! I'm a beginner...just worried if it's warm enough as I run cold easily..
@@buttlebe yea you’ll be fine. Just wear a long sleeve thermal shirt and a sweater over and that should be plenty
i never knew i was this poor, ive never thought of comfortable underwear
Loll
WTF, 3 boxers for a month??? that's disgusting. how often are you washing and rotating them?
Every couple days in the sink. They are light weight and dry quickly
I do the same thing with my exofficio boxers, Uniqlo quick drying t shirts, darn tough socks. Wash them in my scrubba. 4 of each is the sweet spot
this video had too many ads, and you made 10 minutes plus for UA-cam ad revenue, could be a 3 minute video. I think if you make more compact videos it will help with your subscriber count.
To summarize and save you time:
Likes linen
Doesn't like thick jeans
Likes wool
Use packing cubes
